  I just bought a m7-n109dx desire and fresh out of the box of the touchpad seems to be depressed on the lower left corner. I guess this is supposed to be on par with the rest of the laptop? Don't know if it's supposed to be there for something special, or if it's just a part of the design however, you are not alone as many laptops that we here have a depression on the lower left corner of the touch pad. I'm not sure why this is, but it seems to be compatible with most of them.
