  I have Oracle database 11g r2 installed in Oracle Linux 5 (no GUI) in my laptop.
  I want to disable all optional services and the demon, and keep just required to run the oracle database.

  The oracle database has no need of these services

  The operating system can depending on the services you have installed or require. If you don't need any NFS or other rpc network services, you can stop portmap rpc.statd, xinetd, rpc.idmapd for example. You can probably disable pcscd if you don't need smart cards. You can probably disable the iscsi demons and xfs support. You can stop these services and then see if you still need to work. However, I doubt that it will be a lot of influence on the use of resource or overall performance of the system.

  It is called the Menu bar...

  Right click on the empty space where the menu bar should be... check menu bar.

We have added some features, menus and responsibilities to our EBS 12.1.1 installation in order to provide a mechanism for access control for our JDBC integration because it connects directly to a db schema. We call FND_FUNCTION. TEST to see if the user connected / responsibility has the function it wants to call which are assigned to him. We also plan to use a custom schema, so that we don't have to plug directly into the apps schema, because we believe that our customer will not do. What do you think?

  I would say FNDLOAD takes care to put all objects in the schema corresponding to FND/APPLSYS, right?

  What grants you are talking about? The apps schema will certainly know about these new functions/menus/responsibilities (if not, you will not be able to see or access it from the application) - most of the data that is stored in the APPLSYS schema is accessible by the APPS schema.

• Menus and themes in the first 8

  How many menus and themes are available in first Elements 8, if you do NOT have a plus membership?  I can't find any information on what is included in this versionl.  When I downloaded the demo, almost all of the menus and themes could not be used because I wasn't a plu member.  What I liked the 3 elements has been the large number of choices of menu possible if I have to pay $50 / year for access to most of the menus, I will just choose a different program.  Are there other parts of the program that are also very limited, if you do not buy the plu number of members.  (This may be questionable, as right now, the program crashes if often I can't even use it.)  Any word on a solution to this (on a computer without a display driver N Vidia?)

  I have a number of movies shot with a Canon Vixia HF10 camcorder. The camera settings are on NTSC with cadence 60, AVCHD.

  In my iMac (OS X vers.10.7.3), I have tried everything first to change my films in iMovie, but as soon as I discovered that iMovie does not correctly the AVCHD format.

  With Adobe Premiere Elements, I could however manage excellently AVCHD format. But when I got to the final stage in creating a menu

  my movies (I used models of first menu) the menus were very bad poor resolutions. I could see this time to 'Preview' and on DVD.

  The actual movies have been great with a real resolution AVCHD on DVD.

  When you preview your DVD menus, looking for a version of what your final release will look like very low resolution. The document is intended to test the navigation. The menus and video will look much nicer once the file is rendered and output as a DVD or BluRay.
