  It is more a spry menu bar, which was crap anyway. You can learn how to make a simple CSS - only menu or a menu jQuery.

  The new version of DW includes a starter starter site, which is how many sites asre built these days. Bootstrap also contains a navigation pane.

  Christian I would recommend solving your difficulties with InDesign first by your message to http://forums.adobe.com/message/5960299#5960299.  It is likely that both facilities are affected by the same cause.

• Work with Bootstrap in Dreamweaver

  I am an intermediate user of dreamweaver, and I recently heard of Bootstrap. I also saw that dreamweaver CC 2015 supports integration "bootstrap".

  My question is this, and don't forget my skill level is intermediate:

  When you use Bootstrap, your pages should be the basis of all the bootstrap, or can you start a regular dreamweaver html file and use bootstrap to style only a few items on your site?

  If I understand correctly, "bootstrap" is a CSS (with a few JS fuctionalities so) file, and if that is correct, it's ok to have a start with your own CSS file, for example, main.css?

  Please enlighten.

  Bootstrap is a bunch of stuff all packed together. The site itself (getbootstrap.com) will explain itself, but a simple answer is that it is a combination of pre-written oriented files, best practices, with CSS, JavaScript and fonts (among other things more advanced as the LESS).

  You can do whatever you want with the Bootstrap included in your page. Use one part of it, or quite use of all this. How you use is entirely up to you.

  My favorite to use passages are fluid grid CSS, the CSS utilities and the glyphicons reagent. Too many link, but you can see the grid here and useful utilities like reagents images here. Glyphicons (see here) are fonts as essentially the icons or images for your site, but because they are the fonts they are rendered as a vector in any size and color, like text, they are ultra light and make the razor sharp on any device.

  Again, as mentioned, use as much or as little of the system you want. You can fully customize your Bootstrap version by visiting the Bootstrap customize section and using only the parts you really want to use, reducing the size of the download.

  Dreamweaver is exceptional for the construction with Bootstrap IMHO just for 2 reasons, live edit and finding of dependence. Because Dreamweaver is loading the page in a real browser mode it has an advantage. It loads all AJAX applications and realize how they are dependent on what you are viewing. So when you use these huge frames your display of dependent files is extremely accurate and how to find a folder makes responsible for certain parts of the very easy to find with a simple filtering pages. Otherwise, even with the tools of the great developer in browsers, it's just much easier to work in Live View mode which inspect in a browser and go back to your IDE to get the file you need. Dreamweaver makes it easy. And it's a very difficult thing to do.

  If you are sure you have tried the troubleshooting properly methods, then I recommend that you uninstall DW and reinstall.

  I just did a clean install of CS6 on my computer, running the Mavericks 10.9.5. When I try to open Dreamweaver, the icon appears in the dock, then closes. Following the instructions in a previous note tech, I created a new admin user and Dreamweaver opens fine. I copied the user preferences for the library of my account admin user original, but with the same result.

  What I did:

  -Remove Dreamweaver CS6 with uninstaller,

  -in the library > Application Support > Adobe > remove everything with dreamweaver in the name

  for me, it starts with 9 Dreamweaver Dreamweaver CS4, CS5, CS6

  -in the library > Preferences >

  There was an Adobe folder > Dreamweaver I removed

  There were several prefs files I deleted

  -J' reinstalled DreamWeaver CS6 and it works;

  Let us know if it works for other peoples

  After you download Dw have you installed?

  What version of Dw you downloaded?

  It appears in the control panel > programs list?

  If this isn't the case, then you need to reinstall the application.

  If Yes, then click on start > programs and Dreamweaver should be included here.

• Dreamweaver freezes every morning, the console shows he's going through all my fonts?

  I'm on a mac, 10.9.2, with Dreamweaver CC (just what is the latest version). Every morning, after the start-up of Dreamweaver, I get about a minute or two, then it freezes. When I check the console log, I see that he's going through all of my fonts. I could publish the newspaper, but it's the same line over and over again, just with different fontnames (and unfortunately I don't maaaany fonts, but only a few of them are active):

  Note the performance of CoreText: customer called CTFontCreateWithName() using the name "Futura Light" and got with name 'FuturaBT-Light' PostScript fonts For optimal performance, use only PostScript names when calling this API.

  I have to admit that I don't know what that means, or what to do about it? CC other applications do not do that, only Dreamweaver (which shouldn't need to all fonts at first, with the exception of a few standard fonts-batteries). Anyway, usually I force - quit Dreamweaver and after that it works fine (as fine as Dreamweaver is usually the case, at least).

  A note on the side - here at the office, we use Universal Type Client of Extensis font management.

  Any help? Good ideas? Lucky guesses? ;-)

  We have checked the issue & looks like DW starts scanning all Extensis font at startup. We are studying it.

  In the meantime, it would be great if you can file a bug here. This will help us to give priority to it based on the number of requests from users.

• Dreamweaver CS3 stops with a blank registration form

  Today, I started working with Dreamweaver CS3 Mac, it opened very well until a registration screen appears, above all.

  Struck by the same thing, I found a work around.

  1 disconnect your internet connection.

  2. start CS3

  3. you get an error screen, click on 'Save ever.'

  Hope this works for you.
