Starts the Task Bar Assistance needed

Stupid question, I know - but somehow I moved my taskbar to start on the right side of my screen and I can't understand how to bring it down... I'm not that tech savvy, but I thought that I could understand it and it left me speechless. I don't know which is worse - the fact that I can't understand it, or that I have NO idea how he got first place.  It makes me NUTS...

Right-click on the taskbar and unlock it. Take an empty spot with the mouse pointer and drag it to the bottom. Relock the taskbar.

    Originla title: OS repair

I recently did a repair of the OS on a laptop, in a microsoft logo repair / reflection bar loop.  I restarted the computer and it starts with windows, but wonder if I want to activate now. I say Yes and it takes me to my office (which has no icons, start button, task bars or toolbars, just the wallpaper).  How can I activate XP or what I need to do another repair or a complete reload?

  • T500: The Start Menu/task bar unresponsive (freezes for a second or 2)

I have hesitation that the xp/vista way organizes the start menu/task bar, so I use classic windows btw. Sometimes when I click programs on the start menu, task bar hotkeys, nothing happens (unresponsive for 1 ~ 2 seconds) which is disturbing. I tried the fix from microsoft for the absence of reaction for a long period of time, but I already said. Someone knows how to fix this?

HD is not only 5 400 rpm on a 250 GB drive, solid state drive. Vista Business x 64 for my OS. The problem seems to have disappeared now, except my menu start will sometimes wobbly (after deleting all vantage-ware pre-installed).

  • Firefox does not open in full screen on the task bar and I have to go over it to see the web page.

Firefox does not open in full screen on the task bar and I have to go over it to see the web page.

Firefox window is sometimes "off screen" somehow. Often, you can force it to appear on the screen by right clicking on the thumbnail image just above the taskbar and choose expand. Does it work?

A possible cause for this is that the file that stores the positions and sizes of window is corrupt. You can delete this file and Firefox will return to standard window resizing.

#1 method: If you can get a zoomed window:

Open the settings folder (AKA Firefox profile) current Firefox help

    • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > troubleshooting information
    • (menu bar) Help > troubleshooting information
    • type or paste everything: in the address bar and press Enter

In the first table of the page, click on the view file"" button. This should launch a new window that lists the various files and folders in Windows Explorer.

Leave this window open, switch back to Firefox and output, either:

    • "3-bar" menu button > button "power".
    • (menu bar) File > Exit

Pause while Firefox finishing its cleanup, then rename xulstore.json to something like xulstore.old. If you see a file named localstore.rdf, rename this to localstore.old.

Launch Firefox back up again. Windows normally appear again?

#2 method: If you can not get a Firefox window for all:

Close Firefox by right clicking the icon in the taskbar > close all windows.

Using the Run dialog box (windows key + R) or the start search bar menu type or paste the following and press Enter to drill down to the profiles folder:

    %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles

Here you can see a folder - in this case, double-click that - or more than one case - in this case, double-click on in what looks like the most recently updated.

Scroll down and rename xulstore.json to something like xulstore.old. If you see a file named localstore.rdf, rename this to localstore.old.

Launch Firefox back up again. Windows normally appear again?

  • How do you start the scroll bar down on the loading of the page?

I have a div that extracts data from a database.

It is a real pain and not very friendly. I'm either looking for a way to start the scroll bar to the position of on loading the page, or a much better way to do it. Maybe like an auto-scroll, or something.

I'll go ahead and you give correct answer about this. These things can work very well, but I found a way to put the last message at the top instead of bottom.

SELECT the column OF database ORDER BY id DESC LIMIT 20

  • Is it possible to display an image full screen; in other words, how to switch all the toolbars - including the status bar and the task bar?

I found a few larger images (986 x 1024 and 2420 x 2514) I'd like to see on the entire screen. Is there a way to do this by enabling / disabling (then restore it later) of all toolbars - including the status bar and the task bar? Or is there an FF extension that will make perhaps even easier?

Press F11 or select "full screen" in the menu. (If there is still floating toolbars around after that, do a right-click on the toolbar and remove the checkbox.)

  • Stop and start the task in while loop

I try to start and stop an output meter (creates pulsed output) in a while loop and I don't know how this is possible. I have a while loop running who is taking measures from a digital compass. If my title is within acceptable limits, the outputs of the meter (2 of them to turn to the left and right) must be turned off. If the title is out of the acceptable range, let say too far to the right, I want to start one of my outings of the counter to activate the object to the left. The issue I am having is that if I put the block 'Start the task' in the while loop the system will try to start each iteration of the loop, even if it is already on. I don't know if there is a problem, but it does not appear effective from a programming perspective. I remember reading somewhere that stop and start tasks can really slow a loop. Any suggestions?

I actually just to understand it. If you use some if statements and the "fact of task is" block you can make it work.

Can I get a virtual device driver format in the registry is incorrect when you use a disk with the drivers on this subject. I found information on how to correct this problem and now the botton of task bar work again although it works until the computer is used for a while. How is the hidden icon button suppose to work or it should be visible all the time? Also the virtual device driver registry entry has something to do with it? I think that the problem of the DMV has installed a Norton program antivirus software that was on a disc that came with the computer.

    Hello

1 have had any changes made to your computer before this problem?

I suggest you try the methods mentioned below and check if it helps:

    Method 1:

You can also scan your computer the Microsoft Security Scanner, which would help us to get rid of viruses, spyware and other malicious software.

The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

    Hope this information is useful.

  • "print key" on the windows live photo gallery is hidden by the task bar, so I can't select it. How I choose it?

"print key" on the windows live photo gallery is hidden by the task bar, so I can't select it.  How I choose it?

Resize your window by clicking Restore button (or the - and the X in the upper right corner of the window) and drag the window to the where you can see the "print" key.  You can also minimize the window and drag it around.

Another thing you can do is to hold the CTRL key and press the letter P.  It still works.

I hope this helps.  Good luck.

  • The task bar has two control panel icons

The task bar has two icons in Control Panel. When I added my office to the two taskbar Control Panel icons apperded. (I have the taskbar right-click, then toolbars and selected Desktop). I can delete the second icon in Control Panel, but it returns to the restart. I found as subjects during a Google search. Someone else has the same double icons? Is there a fix to Windows? I am running Windows 7 on the new system.

    That did not work.

It does not - it did for me when I go from 7 to 8 and then 8 to 8.1

You MUST delete a registry key.

    Create a file "deleteCPIcon.reg" with:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00  [-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace\{5399E694-6CE5-4D6C-8FCE-1D8870FDCBA0}]

    Run the file
