Everything seems to be okay, but there were a few files imported with different names. We have manually renamed some folders and and copy the messages in one of the new files.   Now, given the Windows 7 system restore brand new I am trying to restore Windows Mail account.  In fact, I can't tell if it was a front window Mail or Windows Live Mail.  I don't know if the locations of the files for messages and contacts of these two letters are different.

  When I go to c:\users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\, I don't see Windows Live Mail but Windows Mail.  So does that mean it was a Windows Mail system not a before Windows Live Mail System.  I copied the files saved in Windows Mail system on the same path directory in the newly recovered system, but it doesn't seem to make a difference when I open Windows Live Mail, which is the only e-mail program on the newly recovered Windows 7 system.

  Windows Mail does not dbx files.  Copy the store directory of all message on the desktop of the new machine.  Then right-click on the file and go to properties and make sure that they are not read-only.  Then go to file | Import | Messages in WinMail and choose the format from Windows Mail 7 and point to this directory.   See also here for general information: www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx#wm
   
  If you can not always get messages in folders, you can create a new folder in WinMail and open it so that it displays a list of empty message.  Then, open up one of the subdirectories containing eml files in Explorer and drag an eml file on top of the list of message empty folder and drop and you will see it is embedded in the file.  Once you get a job, you can drag and drop all eml files at a time, as long as they are only the eml files.

  They are attachments because you drag another file in addition to the eml files.  When you select the eml files to ensure that they areonly the eml files and then it will work.

  I right click on the message and select "move". Cursor changes but the arrow keys do not work and can not move the message in fullscreen.

  Don't know why, but I think I have. When I click on the header of message in the Inbox full screem it just appeared in the taskbar (the header of the message). No new screen. I do not use the preview pane, but had tried and no change. If I clicked on the message in the taskbar, or used a right clisk then 'open' or 'maximize it open in its own window. Next message dates back to the taskbar. While typing this reply, I had minimized Inbox with a message header always in the taskbar. When I clicked on the message, I could see him now off the screen and followed your instructions, which worked. I couldn't do it with the screen of the Inbox under the eyes. Amazing!   I am trying to install a program and Windows Installer stops right in the middle of installation and a dialog box appears with information from command line, and the only thing I can do is select 'ok'... the program is not installed.

  The file I'm trying to install is an exe file (so the SIG file is embedded in the exe file).

  I tried the option "Run As Administrator" and it did not work.  However, you gave me an idea that has provided a work around that allowed me to install the program.

  Once this dialog box is displayed with all the control switches, rather than press 'OK', I left on the screen and went in the 'temp' folder and find the MSI program I tried to install (I cross referenced the timestamp of when I tried to install it to find).

  Once I found the updated file, I clicked it, and he proceeded to install the program... I have not had any other problems with the installation.

  So, there's something wrong with the way that the exe file have been created and how the files extracted from the msi file (these are files of Intel and Lenovo - driver updates - so I think they do these things) or there is a problem with Windows Installer.

  For now, at least, I have a work around I use until I find a solution to this problem of permanent

  Three years ago, I bought a Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop. Never met a problem until I tried to install Windows Vista Service Pack 2. I already followed each step instructions Support of Microsoft issues Service Pack for any result or solution. In these cases, I have downloaded the pack update directly from the wepage of Windows Vista, installed Windows Update Readiness Tool, disabled my antivirus (McAfee) and came up with nothing. I even tried to install this update in Mode safe but also failed to install Service Pack 2.

  What is happening all the time, is that I double click on archive downloaded in order to install (having already started my computer in Mode safe mode with networking reportoire and disabled the antivirus as well as its firewall). The Service Pack window opens and I click 'Next' for all the necessary instructions, including 'the computer automatically restarts. When the toolbar installation is completed, the computer automatically goes to restart itself. 3 steps appear as a requirement for the completion of the installation process. All goes well until he reaches "step 3 of 3:100% finished. Do not turn off your computer. After about ten minutes of stall in this step, the following message appears on the screen: "the Service Pack cannot be installed, returning from changes. Do not turn off your computer.

  The computer then rolls back all the changes and initiated in the normal state. After the opening, the first window that appears displays the following message: "the specific driver is not valid. • Windows Mail Messages disappear from box

  I use windows vista, windows mail to receive my emails.

  If I read every message and leave the box, then back to the box at all read messages have disappeared.

  This is a new problem, I was using windows mail for quite a while.

  Open Windows Mail >menu bar at the top, VIEW > current view > show all messages
