Stations of European FM on W450

Hi all!

I recently bought the W450 in New York. Due to work I have now need to move abroad. I'd do it

generally go running with music on an FM, but I find that I have problems in Europe.

Apparently, some of the station frequency end with even numbers. To give you an example of what I mean, one of the stations I listen to is on 99.6 FM. In the United States, almost all stations end in odd numbers as 99.1, 99.3, 99.5, etc.. Here, they have things like 100.0...

Now the problem is that I can't choose the stations. The W450 ignores even those still trying to manually set.

Does anyone know how can I fix? Is there a European bought W450 who doesn't have this problem?

Hoping for any possible help (support of motorola said that they are the transmission for programmers or something, but it seems strange that they sell the W450 in Europe and not be able to just change a setting for this or something..)

Hello

I have version W450 us, and it works very well with the FM Stations of Europa, special here in Austria.

Do you establish FM Radio region to Europe or the other Europe Germany, Europa Greece and so on?

You can find it under: control - music - FM Radio region.

  • Toshiba service station stop works on Vista 64

I have Satellite A505, and the Toshiba service station stop working.
I uninstalled the app and I replaced it for the latest version 2.1.33 and isn't problem solved.

The service station message is "the Toshiba service station initialization failed. Try to restart or reinstall the application.
Any suggestions to solve the problem?

To be honest, I've never heard of this application and is perhaps a specific application of country/continent. I have the European model and we have a similar application called TEMPRO. This application runs in the background and informs the user of new updates or driver downloads.

I don't know if this Toshiba service station is designed for the same purpose, but I can tell you with certainty that this application is not so important, and you can live without it. I have TEMPRO removed from the system. In my opinion, if you have this kind of problem with it, it deletes the system and the problem is solved.

Can you please tell us for what is this necessary application?

  • Base stations automatically choose roaming configuration overlapping channels overlap

I have a roaming configuration, as shown in the photo. When I select Auto channel (on 2, 4 or 5 GHz) selection every now and then the base stations choose the same channel, which causes interference. On 2.4 GHz is easily solved by manually selecting the channels not bunk.

5 GHz, however, manual channel selection is not a solution. All three base stations use wide channels in 5 GHz (the Airport Express does not support dual band and only uses 5 GHz). A selection of no cumulation of the channels would be channels 36, 44 and 52. However, the only available channels for the manual selection of the Netherlands are 36, 40, 44 and 48. So I need to use the automatic selection on at least a base station, which unfortunately results in channels that overlap every now and then.

I know that the base stations should choose the channels not bunk by themselves, but apparently they do not always. Does anyone know a solution for this? My current solution, when the wifi is flaky, is to use the application Explorer of Wifi to see if there are stations base using the same channel and if so, restart the base station "at fault." Obviously not an ideal solution. The second photo shows my current channel selection. 5 GHz channels are set to automatic and are currently not overlapping. The network dlink is not mine.

I understand the problem... This is the European version especially airports that restricts the use of channels in automatic configuration. I do not understand why Apple does. Other brands are not. USA or where I am in Australia, I have a much larger selection and channels... Same as the automatic selection.

Try something... Instead of using the non-overlapping channels, try to use the same channels. This amounts to extend wireless, when you think about it. In time both the base and expand the unit and can transmit or receive at the same time... (not to each other of course) but to other customers. And it works well.

Test if this will cause a slowdown of your use wireless... control somewhere between the units where it is possible, a client may bind to one or the other... Disable one and test the speed of the link (actually transfer a file... not just a link speed)... now, close the other device and redo the test... so you know what transfer speed can be expected from each single unit. Now run the two units on the same channel, say 36. What result do you get this?

  • Satellite L755 - Webcam does not work - interactive Windows station

    Dear community of Toshiba,

I have a Toshiba L755 series. I was able to use the webcam with Skype. When running Skype recently, I was surprised to see that the camera could not be found.
I went to the Device Manager to see what might be the problem, and there I saw everything 'imaging devices', as if the camera equipment did not exist originally.

I tried and then searching for the hardware changes. New hardware has been found, but then try to install the driver, I get a message saying that:
+ Windows encountered a problem installing the software driver for your device. +
+ Error trying to install it and Windows found driver software for your device but he bumped. +
+ This operation requires an interactive window station. +

Note that the device is recognized as: TOSHIBA Web Camera MP.
I tried searching online for this find of t pilot but just could not.
I also tried to download and install the driver from Toshiba support, but once again, still does not.

    Help, please.

    Thank you

    Hello

On the European driver Toshiba page, you can find the webcam driver v2.0.0.19 and v2.0.0.13.

    Have you tried both?

Usually the software of webcam located in the control panel-> software
Uninstall the webcam software it and reboot the laptop.
Now, you should clean the registry because each installation leaves other securities in the register that I can recommend a tool its freeware CCleaner and cleans the system very well

After cleaning the registry, restart the system and try to install the webcam driver v2.0.0.19

    Good luck

  • Satellite A200 (PSAF3A) - Windows 7 Service Station

I downloaded Toshiba Service Station 2.1.33 and he says there is no update?
Is this the correct version because when I checked on the Windows 7 website http://support.toshiba-tie.co.jp/windows7/download/Satellite_A200_64_cae.htm it says after "upgrading to Windows 7, the latest driver and software updates will be provided via Toshiba Service Station. We recommend that you use the Toshiba Service Station to keep your system up-to-date. »

But then does not tell you where or how to download gas station, so I searched and found the 2.1.33 version.

    Help?

To be honest Toshiba Service Station unknown to me, but it must be something like Tempro for laptops models European.

Anyway, I do not understand your problem. Do you know how to work this Toshiba Service Station?
This program checks to see if an update is available. This average update updated for any pre-installed driver, Toshiba, utility or even BIOS update tool. If you got information there is no update to continue working with your laptop as usual. Nothing needs to be installed.

If preinstalled Toshiba Service Station 2.1.33 works well, everything is OK.

  • RDS (FM) function and move fm stations back?

Hi, a Member asked here if Sansa clip will function RDS, Miikerman seem to answer Yes, but don't know if he has answered this question or another man asked to be clear is our small fantastic Monster Sansa Clip + will have RDS works on an update of firmware in the future? (Allow European users of RDS read what station we listen to rather than 103.7..)

Second small suggestion, you programmer of the Sansa Clip +, you think it's possible in a future firmware update to be able to go back when we zap from one radio station to another one (rather than just forward using 'select' button) somehing like the "home" button + "select" or the combination knob?

    I thank of :-)

Adding RDS functionality requires a different FM chip device used currently.  It is nice to see this information, as long as the broadcaster implements it correctly.

  • Can I use an old station Airport Express to extend your network using a new Airport Express Terminal?

I had an old Airport Express station and wanted to exchange for a newer version and use the old ones to expand the range in our House. Is this possible?

By 'old' are you referring to the AirPort Express (model A1084) to 802.11 g? If Yes, then you won't be able to use it to extend the latest Express with a wireless connection between them.

However, you can use it in a roaming network configuration, which would force base stations to be connected by Ethernet.

  • How can I change the base station Airport of NAT mode?

I'm trying to set up an Airport base station and stuck because I have the following message is displayed, but no idea how do what he asks...

Status is showing as Double NAT and then asking me to move on to the base station in bridge DHCP/NAT mode.

But where do I do this?

    Thank you

It can be difficult to get the router to bridge sometimes... but if all goes well... Click on the airport icon in airport utility and then click on edit.

Go to the network tab and change DHCP and NAT to bridge.

Click Update at the bottom of the page... Then, everything should be good.

If you are having problems follow these steps.

Reset factory airport and then do a manual installation. I recommend that you connect with ethernet which is much more reliable, but your MBPr is not the most important network port that exists... Although there is a bolt of lightning at low cost for the ethernet card.

  • iTunes Radio 'recently played' missing Stations

I use intensively the iTunes Radio... Since I've updated to 12.5 "Recently played" section of the section of radio stations has a bunch of 'raw', where recently played stations are supposed to be. Not every station is empty, but half of 28 stations are...

I often do that by going to the artist-> Station to start. I wonder if there is a bug in this feature? Did anyone else see? Googling for itunes questions is so difficult because he gives so many irrelevant results, but I can't seem to find someone else reported this...

Note that on my iPhone, my stations appear correctly.

  • Should I buy a Base Station for my Apple products to use Time Machine?

Should I buy a Base Station for my Apple products? I have a Netgear CG3000D-RG gateway and also use Windows with this modem/router. I'm not able to backup using time machine and bought an external hard drive PassPort but I find it pretty annoying having to plug it in to my MBP whenever I want to do a backup. I would like to use the most convenient airport on my MBP feature, however, it seems pointless unless I have connected to my Netgear router/Modem base station. If I have to buy a base station to make the backup of my MBP easier? I also use 6s and iPad Air iPhone. I would be able to save these features too? Thank you!

    1. you must either have a Time Capsule or connect the drive to your computer when you perform a backup.

    2. Time Machine isn't back from iOS devices directly; they should be stored on a computer and the computer saved Time machine.

  • How can I change European keyboard to English characters?

I recently got an Apple iMac and the keyboard is European.  It's not hit a number of characters as they are shown on the keyboard which is irritating.

I examined the means to change... through the language on the system of preferences Safari... but nothing helps.

    Advice please?

The keyboard layout is controlled by the system/preferences/keyboard Sources (no Safari or any other application).

Go there and make sure that only the layout for your keyboard is on the list.  If you'd say what language or you hardware keyboard is for, I could tell you is you need more exactly.

If you are in the United Kingdom by using an Apple keyboard, you should have British on the list.  If you are using a Windows keyboard, you should have British-PC on the list.

In the Radio to iTunes with Apple's music section, the kind most stations (i.e. "Chill") beyond the generic 'Star centres' and 'Recently played' sections have disappeared in the last week or two.

    Anyone know what is happening?

I notice in the version of iOS of Apple music genre stations are still...

At the top of the Radio display, you will see 3 tabs in blue. "Star", "beats 1" and "Stations". "." Click on 'Stations' to see the genre stations.

  • Using the base station airport ONLY as a backup, but is not a router

Hi, I have a simple question that I can't find an answer. I want to use my Airport only base like a time capsule, and not as a wifi hotspot. I'm in a wfi environment that does not have any router, my wifi just to join a wireless network in my office environment. Previously, I worked in an office where I ran a cable DHCP in my airport base station and then he joined with wifi. Now, I just want to use the airport as a backup. Answers to this question involve disable wifi from the airport and hit an ethernet cable from the router to the airport base station. I do not have a router. So is it possible that I can get the device from the airport, make back ups wireless, all at the same time be connected to a wireless network? I'm guessing that the answer is no.

Unfortunately, your proposal of "no" is correct.

However, you could configure the airport Time Capsule (ATC) to create a wireless network (without Internet access) and save on the Time Capsule wireless.

Of course, to do this, when you want to save, you need to log on to your 'normal' wireless network and connect wireless provided by ATC.  Once the backup is complete, then you'll need to sign the CTA wireless and log on to your normal wireless network.

All things considered, it would be much easier to invest in a USB low price and connect the HDD directly on your Mac. In this way, you can stay connected to your wireless network normal and backups occur automatically.

  • How to reconfigure wireless network extended with several base stations

I have a wifi network in an Airport Extreme wired to the modem from our Internet service provider and an Airport Express Terminal extended wireless in another part of the House. I recently added a second Airport Extreme (also extended wireless) to boost coverage in another area of the House. I want to have the Express and the extreme second each wireless connection directly to the base station to the modem to have the shortest path to the main base station, but the Airport utility network diagram seems to keep showing the network of linearly (main Extreme base - second extreme - Express). So, two questions: first, represents the schema of utility Airport the signal path real (linear Express by Extreme II, then to Extreme II/modem)?  And secondly, if so, how to reconfigure the network to have both Express and Extreme II forking the extreme base I directly, rather than having the food by Extreme II, then Extreme I Express. The network showed that the desired branched network yesterday, but today went back into the linear trajectory. I tried a simple drag and drop graphic to move the Express, thinking that surely the Apple would implement such a simple, logical and direct way to manage the network, but no. Have not seen another way to configure the network manually, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

It is very important to understand that Apple "extend a wireless network" works on signal strength.

In order to have the AirPort Express and AirPort Extreme to extend the network of the 'main' extreme wireless, two conditions must be fulfilled:

    (1) the AirPort Express and AirPort Extreme extension should both be on the same relative distance of the extreme 'main '.

    (2) AirPort Express and AirPort Extreme extension must both be closer to the extreme 'main' they are to each other.

In other words, a well put together would have your "main" AirPort Extreme in the middle of the House, with a Terminal AirPort Express on one end of the House and the AirPort Extreme to the other end of the House.  In this configuration, the two airports are about the same distance from the extreme 'main'... and... "" oth extending airports are located more close to the "main" airport that they are with each other.
