  • Cannot install PowerDirector 10 Super-Micro by Cyberlink, when I put the disc in the player getting error (E:\is not a Win 32 Application valid).

I installed Windows 7 64 bit on a new computer.  Everything that the seams to work properly. I then tried to install a new program from Cyberlink called PowerDirector Ultra 10.  I put the disc in the drive and get an error (E:\is not a Win 32 Application valid).  If I put another CD or DVD in the drive, it works very well. Can someone help me please

    Original title: using Windows 7

I would contact the people you bought it from.  Maybe you have a faulty drive.  You can also click on start-> computer and look at the contents of this disc.  If there is a Setup.exe file on that, try double-clicking it and see what happens.  If this does not help, open the AUTORUN. INI file with Notepad and see what file it points to.  Then try double-clicking what it points to.

    Good luck.

10/19, I got the 80070670 error code when you try to update Win Defender with the 1.139.124.0 definition.

However, today, 10/23, definition 1.139.382.0 successfully installed.

Do I still need to try and install the prior definition or the definition includes a prerequisite?

  • error 0xc004e003 during activation of Win 7 Pro on Portege R930 - 17 L

    Toshiba Portege R930 - 17L
    S/N: 5D016093H
(If I search on Toshiba after SN I only find in Toshiba - Ukraine)

Bought at the shop online "Sigmanet" in Romania.

It has a sticker on the back w / Windows 8 Pro (small sticker without product key).
He arrived with the installation of Windows 8 CD.
Now, it has been pre-installed Windows 7 Pro x 64 SP1 (this laptop has the right of use of Windows 8 and Windows 7)
Of course, the preinstalled operating system has been slow and gave errors (pre-installed McAfee antivirus, a bunch of small apps, a.s.o.)

    I reinstalled Windows 7 Pro SP1 x 64 (original CD) on a clean partition.
I can't activate it with the following text:
    Product key: XXXXX-YYYYY-ZZZZZ-XXXXX-YYYYY
    Product ID: xxxxx-OEM-xxxxxxx-xxxxx
    Error code: 0xc004e003

Now, I spoke with the Microsoft Romania, they tried to help me, but they failed.
They told me that the license seems stuck at Toshiba, so they suggested to speak to them (Toshiba) to unlock the license or provide a new product key.

So, I contacted the seller. They passed me at the service of Toshiba authorized in Romania which avoids to help me.

Now I'm stuck. What to do or who to contact. Everything is so blurry...

I appreciate any response you can give me. Thank you!

    > It has a sticker on the back w / Windows 8 Pro (small sticker without product key).
    > Happened with Windows 8 installation CD.
    > Now it was preinstalled Windows 7 Pro x 64 SP1 (this laptop has the right of use of Windows 8 and Windows 7)

Laptop Toshiba computers are preinstalled with Windows systems that are already activated.
The stickers that you will find at the bottom of the units are the serial OEM key and these keys don't work in relation to other different systems. The OEM key belongs to the preinstalled image.

So in case you would use the Toshiba Recovery disk and install Windows system using this disk, the serial key is not necessary.

According to the technical specifications of Toshiba:
http://www.Toshiba.co.il/en/laptops/Portege/r930/Portege-r930-17L/ the laptop has been pre-installed with Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.

This means that Win 7 Recovery DVD was not part of the package. Why?
because the Toshiba Recovery Media Creator software has been pre-installed on this laptop. The software allows you to create the recovery DVDs containing Pro Win 7 64-bit system and the image that is activated.

When I boot with XP disk in the drive it loads all the files, but when Setup starts Windows I just get a stop error message.

    Can anyone help with this?

Have you installed or included the SATA driver?
The new laptops are equipped with a SATA controller and this is why you would need to include the SATA drivers that would recognize the HARD drive correctly. In addition the SP2 should be included in Win XP

  • I get error 0 x 24 in Win XP Home, after the system hung over the error checking.

The system is a HP/Compaq Presario SR1575CL running XP Home Edition with Service Pack 3. There is 2 GB of RAM and a 200 GB drive HARD Seagate SATA 1. I don't have a Win XP Home CD, because the BONE was preloaded on the HARD drive. HP put a section of 6 GB recovery (FAT) in the 1 Partition of the HARD drive. The 180 remaining in 2 GB (NTFS) Partition is for the OS and data. Partition 2 is expected to be the bootable partition. Recovery HP option brings back me to the configuration of the facility six years ago.

I was checking the HARD disk with the error checking feature. The program completed the first three steps of five. The system hung up on step 4.

The system enters a restart loop where I see the screen of the POST, the screen that allows me to choose an operating system (XP Home or Recovery Console), then the window a few seconds start screen. I tried the Recovery Console option and I get the error Mode recovery 0 x 24. I can't use any Safe Mode options, because they also cause a boot loop.

I'm unable to get a command line so that I can try the command fixmbr or fixboot.

I started with the Live CD Knoppix 6,7 and 12 LinuxMint and was able to see and access both partitions of the HARD disk. I was able to copy the contents of the Partition 2 to external USB HDD unsolved. I also made a copy of the MBR using DD.

I ran testdisk_6.13 which shows the parameters C/H/S are 24321/255/63, based on the HARD drive and 25841/240/63 for the NTFS. According to the Seagate, the C/H/S for this Barracuda HARD drive Web site is 16383/16/63, which doesn't have a size for the size of 200 GB. Phoenix Award BIOS shows 65535/16/255.

I want to fix/repair the HARD drive. Data and intact air applications. How recognizable HARD drive again?

    Thank you.

    Hello

It seems that the hard drive has failed. You will need to replace it as it is not really a way to fix them.

  • Second hand windows 10 gave the error 0x0000c14. Formatted with win 7, now nothing works.

    Hello!

So, I recently bought a second hand with 10 installed windows laptop.

After a few days, he stopped working and got 00x0000c14 error at startup.

I fully formatted using a disc of windows 7, and now I cant get it up and working properly.

It starts well on the desktop, but I can't get the installed network driver and so unable to connect to the internet.

In the windows.old folder, there are several drivers of all kinds. I can't install of these places. I tried and it doesn't seem to change anything.

I tried to download the configuration files and transfer them via my phone, but it has the same result as the drivers already installed in the old file win.

How can I get this laptop operational? Any direction is greatly appreciated. I'm trying to treat this as an opportunity to learn and not look at it as a negative circumstance, but if I can't get this to work laptop I'm in a bit of trouble, since I live in a country quite poor and cannot afford another PC.

    Thank you! :)

Second laptop with win 7 home premium can access Synology without any problem.  In addition to that, in the window of my computer\Network I can't access my own resources. • Error ACDaemon.exe - api-ms-win-downlevel-ole32-l1-1-0.dll system

Hello, I was wondering if I could get help with the error in the title, I get this error when I try to start the following programs

    Adobe
    That is to say
or any other programs such as games or Word programs
I also get this error when you try to run a sfc scan in the Console command.
If you need more information please ask.
Windows didn't start the program because the error api-ms-win-downlevel-ole32-l1-1-0.dll file:ACDaemon.exe-system is missing on your computer

    Hello Evilkebab,

-Have you installed any game with acdaemon tool?

This acdaemon.exe is an ArcSoft Connect Daemon belonging to ArcSoft Connect from ArcSoft Inc..

This acdaemon is associated with digital imaging and video software, cameras, printers, scanners, phones, games, etc. It is usually located in c:/program files/common files.

If you find under windows, windows/system or the windows/system32 directory, it may be malware or virus.

    Follow the following troubleshooting methods:

    Method 1:

Download Microsoft Safety Scanner, scan your computer for viruses and malware and then check its operation.

You can download Microsoft Safety Scanner from the link "scan to Microsoft Security.

Note:  The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again. All data that are infected must be cleaned only by deleting all of the data, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

    Method 2:

Run System File Check to fix the corrupted system files and then check how it works.

See the link "How to use the file system tool Checker to troubleshoot system missing or damaged files on Windows Vista or Windows 7" to run the System File Check.

Note: It can ask the Windows DVD difficulty and allowing SFC to do more than minor repairs. Could some of the files saved on your computer are deleted when fixing corrupted files.

I hope this helps you solve the problem. If the problem persists or if you have other problems with Windows, please post in the Microsoft Community. We would be happy to help you.

  • Help still error message

    Hello

I am I am trying to burn a disc using still 5.0.0 on an iMac Yosemite of Mac OS x 10.5.5. It will not proceed with the burn process and gives me the error message "error OSStatus = - 47"suggestions on how to solve this problem? ". Thanks in advance

OS status error messages are Mac operating system errors.

No solutions have been reported for the error-47, except a user who has removed the menu of his project (and had a single first play chronology).

I suspect a drive/folder with the permission set of bad, but don't really know.

  • Errors on the installation of Win ME the VICE-MINISTRY 7 attempt.

    Hi all.

New here so, I've probably will mess up a little until I get the hang of things.

I have a desktop dell, win xp pro, 2gbs ram, 1 TB hd, SP3. I installed vmworkstation 7.0.1 inside. I have installed vista and win 7 and now would like to install WINDOWS ME to be able to use an old game that only works with this operating system.

I created an iso of win me and an iso of the disk for it. I followed the installation procedures and uses the default values suggested vm suggests.

I have f-disk "partition of vm and here is where I have my fist investigation.

    * It is said that the computer must be restarted me. After a few tries to hit the RESET settings (or similar) is I'm just screwing up what I had already entered (to say).

    * Then, I found "restart the machine" (in vm ware) and when go away here, I get the error that says:... "scans the windows registry. The installation of Windows requires 15728640 bytes available on your c: drive"and goes back to an 'E' invites (my drive)...

After 15 attempts, I cannot not further than that. Tutorials that I also looked on u-tube also put me no further before there where I am now.

Can someone tell me what is the problem or what I'm doing wrong?... THANKS for any help!

I guess that you just miss a step...

    Yes, I did?

1 start the virtual machine floppy image: run fdisk and create a partition active - restart the virtual machine

I'm doing this, then told to restart and I did that, too.

    2. start the virtual machine floppy image and run

??.. After clicking reboot, I have to start that said the computer in cd rom, etc..
    format C:

    humnnn... I ran fdisk
    SYS C:
    reset
    3. install WinME

summer try!... grin... does make a difference in the selection of the ide or scsi?

your error means that the installer think that your C: drive is too small - it is probably because you have not formatted C: again

I'll give it another chance... THANK YOU very MUCH for the reply!
