Stop asking 'where's the file

Hi all!

I'm new and this is my first post! I use different versions of PE for years and is currently working with 8. It took me years to get to a level of video production that I would consider decent. I guess I'm a mind slow but seem to go a little better every time! One of the things that I have not been able to understand is how to get the hang of the program ask me where a certain file or files are when you open a project. I find that it is easier for me to reuse them or copy and rename an existing project file to avoid from any new together fresh ups every time. But when he does that it is always looking for files that I used once, but want more and I deleted from their original location. I just click on "Skip all" every time, but this can get annoying after awhile. I tried to empty the cache memory and even archiving projects, but he always asks me every time. Did someone knows a way so he can stop asking me this at least until I remove a file from its location again? Is there some hidden cache or something?

Thanks for any help!

Jim

If you deleted the files on your computer, they will appear in your panel of project/media as a two-headed arrow, indicating that it is no longer a connection

Simply select each (or more), right click and select Delete to permanently remove it from your project and you get those annoying messages 'find' next time you open.

I created a movie in the past with elements 2.0.  I am now editing this film with 14 elements, but it is installed on a new computer.  I have my old files stored on the new computer, but they can be in a drive letter.  Open the project in 14 elements he hangs up and ask 'where is the xxx.xxx file', would reference clip and he probably can't find it.  Can I index my hard drive or some point how items 14 to search the disk for files or what I need to access each of them?

If you put all of the media in the same folder, you may not access each of them.  Be warned, however, that your version 2 can not work in version 14.

  • Premiere CS4 Version 4.2.1 - where is the file "name"?

I have my video files on a HDD that I connect to my laptop. My project files are on the laptop. I was able to work with the files for a long time without any problem. Today, I get the question 'Where is the file?' and I don't want to spend many hours to find all files, when I do not know why this happens so it could happen again. I first thought that first got confused with the drive letters, because I got a UPS Flycard network connector, but I rebooted the computer without it and you have the same problem. How can I let first find the files again and why did this happen?

Well, this majority often occurs when the operating system assigns a letter of new/different hard drive. You can adjust the set outside of the operating system drive letter. Don't know your "flyback" card so don't know don't not how it might affect things. What is the current drive letter, and which was initially assigned?

With PrPro, simply locate the "missing" first, when we ask him, and the program will then connect to all other assets in this folder. If you have assets in several files, you will need to do this for each folder containing assets for this project. The function of this form of dialogue will prove very useful.

I would be the first release of PrPro (do not choose offline, ignore, etc. and then save the project file), discover the drive letters and set externally to what was initially awarded.

    Good luck

  • Search tell me where is the file

When I search a file (using search accessed by the Start button), this means that I don't know where is the file. Duh. In XP, where is found the file, he also told me exactly where she was. Windows 7 allows me to open the file, but it will give me no information about where he is. I can force it give me information?

    Here, try this.

    For Windows 8:
    1. Go to Startand type the name of your file (or whatever you think it is).
    2. After you have typed, click files, and it should be there.
    3. Right-click on the file and choose the location of the file to open. This should open an Explorer window, as soon as the file.

    For Windows 8.1:

    1. Same as Windows 8 #1.
    2. After you have typed, click everywhere - and files.
    3. Same as Windows 8 #3.

  • Where is the file extension for Adobe Bridge? (Mac)

I am trying to install on Adobe Bridge output module. I am totally new to photoshop and Creative Suite. I can't find any information on bridge extensions at all. Here is the page that I found on the installation of the output module - http://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/kb/install-output-module-bridge-cc.html

I downloaded but after that it is said to copy it in the folder of the extension. Where is the file extension? It is bridge? It is in the Finder? All information about extensions is very appreciated! What are extensions? What is the difference between file extension and the extension manager?

    Thank you!

The extensions and this file manager are different entities.

After installing CC Br compared to the creative clouds (https://creative.adobe.com/products), then follow the following steps to access the folder Extensions Br CC:

    1. Click on the menu go to.
    2. Then navigate to the folder
    3. Now paste depending on location/Library/Application Support / Adobe / Bridge CC Extensions

That would open the file Extensions CC Br, follow the steps as shown in the link for help to operate the AOM.

  • Where is the file netware.iso on 3i?

I have an administrator netware asking the netware.iso file so that they can do a manual installation of the vmtools.

Don't ask me why they can't use the usual method, any time I ask anything they get defensive.

Since we are installable running, there is no shell access and I can not locate where the netware.iso file is located if I can just send them the file and make them happy.

I have updated the post with SSH access, but if you do not have to allow you to download the patch from here - http://download3.vmware.com/software/vi/ESXe350-200904201-O-SG.zip.  Unzip it and you will see the-T - BG.zip I mentioned.

  • Re Mail Yosemite: where are the files of signatures and rules are?

I had to reinstall Yosemite from scratch. I want to import Signatures and rules - without accounts - back-up of the previous installation. What are the names of the files in question and where are they located?

You need locate the folder ~/Library/Mail/V2/MailData/Signatures for your signatures and ~/Library/Mail/V2/MailData/SyncedRules.plist for your rules.

Drag and drop in the same location on your new installation.

    I hope this helps.

Where is the cache of Firefox 5.0 file? I understand that in earlier versions, you had to type "subject: cache ' in the address bar to retrieve the cache file. But it does not work on 5.0. I want to retrieve audio files of the Ornithology Europa.EU website but can not find where the file is located. In IE6.0 you had to only go to tools > internet options > settings > view files = Alto! Regarding previous versions of Firefox, the plug-in CacheViewer was very helpful but is not compatible with Firefox 5.0. Help, please!

Type on: cache in the location bar still works. See screenshot. Maybe you it misspelled?

  • Where are the files wallpaper Toshiba located?

I'm sure it's a stoopid question, but I'll ask anyway...

When my laptop was new he had a few good, simple background. Since then, I changed it to show my own pictures, fish tanks.

I would like to restore the simple wallpaper, but I can't find the files.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

    Thanks in advance.

I do not know what operating system do you use but to choose the wallpaper Toshiba is simply.

    VISTA:
Right click on desktop > Personalize > Desktop Background > photo location: Toshiba wallpapers. Photo favorite chose and confirm with OK.

    WINDOWS 7:
Right-click on the desktop > personalize > themes installed. Choose a theme from Toshiba, then you will find the option to background wallpaper. Open it and choose photo available for some theme.

I hope you will discover how it works.
