Stop the timer and a link button to stop the timer
the problem is the timer will work kick to the end every time I turn the knob and how could I stop time and the timer control. Also, how would I link the operational (Wash, Rinse, Spin, Soak) and the water level to set the timer?
In your code, pause feature does not include the implementation of the timer.
Try the timer attached, I did while practicing in the review of the CLD, it's PAUSE feature.

Thank you.I have reproduced a FLA with exactly the assets you have in the same places, with the code on the main timeline. And mine did not work, had just the same problem as you. The solution I proposed above will work, but it is not the only way (see number 2 below).
On frame 1, select the UIScrollbar. If you look in the settings of your UIScrollbar component tab, you will notice that the scrolltargetName refers to Instance_0. It is a default instance name that is assigned by the compiler in Flash, because you do not give your dynamic textfield to an instance, and your UIscollbar that is referencing. Now go to image 4. You will find that your dynamic textfield carries the same instance name and the UIScrollbar made reference to the same instance. Problem is, you have more than one textfield on more than a framework using and by referencing the name of the instance, your UIScrollbars will get confused as to which textfield is in fact "Instance_0". The moment wherever you click on another frame, you have confused the UIScrollbar (s), so that they will never work again.
The solution is simple.
First of all, put a stop() on the first image, if you have not already done so, so your timeline remains in place until you click on a button.
Then you can solve the problem in one of two ways:
- Give your textfields the various name and make sure that the scrolltargetName of each UIScrollbar property refers to its respective textfield.
- Or set the text dynamically, which is after all what is a dynamic textfield. Have only a textfield/UIscrollbar combo, on the first image and put the code on a keyframe for each section that changes the htmlText property or text of the textfield object.
It should work. He did it on mine.

Using firefox 14.0.1. Load a link using the right click and "Open link in new window", translates into a new window opens but doesn't show URL address bar. When you go to the tab sync, I see nothing like the picture in the help pages that show a button manage an account and Add link device. I think I need to access the device link add to reach a screen that I can enter codes to set up the easy way sync. I have already overcome the problem of connection and enter my key synchronization but it's more effort and it seems to me that adding new devices does not work as described. I'm on a Win7 PC and a laptop Windows XP using Firefox 5 and using Firefox Home on an iPod Touch. I have not found a way to get into the 3 codes of four characters shown on my Win7PC on one of the other devices.

I was able to create the PDF page and activate links to pages in the PDF document. But when I test - send two files to myself, the links do not work.You cannot control how, or if, the PDF files are presented in an e-mail. They are just incidental. SOME mail readers will find a PDF attachment and view automatically, in a way or another, perhaps as an image of dead rather than a direct PDF. Some will do it only for the single page PDF. Most don't do at all.
If you want an interactive email with design and links, you can work with HTML.

I need help with my script to search for text and remove the hyperlink and characterstyle link which applies (returns the normal text).
I can't do either as I want. I want the user to be able to type in a dialog text they want to search for, do search this text IGNORING case (case insensitive) and then for all instances that he find it, remove character styles that are applied to the (set to [none]) and delete the hyperlinks.
My code seems to define the character style [None], when I click on the text and look at the window of character Styles, BUT all old styles (font color, underline) are always applied and removed not as I want.
Also, I can't understand how to remove all of the old links.
