  The best way to check if the vmdk on the source is not being used would be to add this vmdk to an existing virtual computer and turn on... ? If not used or is locked by one that turns on with success.

  If it has an instance running it wouldn't let you put under tension and raise an error of file locking. ?

  One of our ipads works very slowly (it uses IOS 8.0.2) and I thought I want to clear the history/cache to see if that would help to expedite. It didn't, but what I also found was by disabling the historic safari there navigation also allowed on our imac!  How this happen? If we delete the e-mails since the ipad it also deletes the iMac too - that we discovered after ages. How this happen?
