  This means that you have previously imported these pictures/videos into Lightroom, and you must not (and are not allowed to) import them again.

  Go to your library Module (not the import dialog box) and find the photos, then you can make use of them in any way you want in Lightroom.

• Windows 8 closed images and document libraries.

  When you try to import photos in the usual manner of phone/camera, message saying me "Sorry there is a problem..."

  Until you try to restore the libraries by default, delete them all everything first (right click and delete).  Then try to restore again and it should work just fine.

  While using my computer, it froze and after restart, it starts what looked like safe mode, but it was not.  It restarts with a gray screen distorted and all icons are distorted and all photos on Web sites look grainy and distorted.   I have checked the registry to find errors and ran AVG virus scan and everything seems to work fine except the office distorted and the photos.  Any help would be appreciated.

  Try to check your disaply settings, click Start-> settings-> Control Panel-> display-> advanced. Check the quality of resolution and display color (try to 16 or 32-bit).

  If the field above is gray, check the yellow mark (missing drivers) in Device Manager (start-> settings-> Control Panel-> system-> hardware-> Device Manager), in this case, you must reinstall the display driver.

• Scanned images and documents seized by my HP Officejet 4500 are spread

  The first time that we put in place our Officejet 4500 All in one it failed the test of alignment, where you print a test page, and then the scanner.  The printer would be message has failed this test and it would be back to the default settings.  This doesn't seem to be a problem initially becaue the printer works great, but recently I needed to scan documents and all my scans come out slightly offset, as the type turns a little diagonally across the entire page instead of 90 degrees as the original document.  I found a few times, if the document feeder this problem was less pronounced in the first pages of one or two.  Tonight no luck.  All the scans have been distorted.   I look at the scanner through the glass, it looks like the scan head is twisted.  The printer will shake in a straight position, but when you close the lid, the printer is a kind of mechanical movement alignment and when I lift the lid it addressed again.   What type of aligning the procedure I do get good analyses straight and copies?   HELP is appreciated.

  Thank you, image scanned on the glass, you can clearly see distortion (not just tilt), probably due to an irregular movement of the scan bar. When you see distortions like this, it's generally the hardware problem and scanner must be repaired.

  If you look the thumbs in the photo gallery... you
  right click on a thumb and select "open file location".

  You can also click with the right button on a thumb and choose...

  Not create multiple documents and then combine them, but have the multi THAT generated when printing PDF page.  I don't see any instructions on that.

• Strange blue background on focus image link

  I'm having a problem with a Web site that I design (http://petrefuge.erabranding.com).

  I have sprites to PNG image with transparency that serve as navigation links.  The problem I have is that when the image links are concentrated (in Chrome, at present, I am unable to focus in Safari or Firefox.) or active, blue fills the transparency behind the image.  The blue is very nice but, unfortunately, completely undesirable.  Is it just another form of the blue outline regrettable failure for links?

  In addition, although I worked very hard to make scrolling unnecessary in most browser windows, some pages load with a vertical scroll bar, while others do not.  I was not able to understand why.

  The site is in development, so I'm not worried about the image links broken (unless they suddenly appear in the top navigation bar).

  Any help or insight that you have, otherwise, would be very useful.

• Why is there the icons collection (with blue arrows) on my files and folders network?

  I've never seen before, it has just appeared this morning.

  That is right.

  You can check your offline files by going to start-> Controlpanel-> offline files

  Here you can also turn it off if you have not (especially useful on laptops)

  My husband used his laptop (bought new about 13 months) yesterday without any problem at all, but when he tried to start it today, it would not.

• Subfolder and file icons appear "fuzzy" or indistinct and are not accessible by applications. They can be reset?

  All my favorite links IE disappeared after an incident of scamware "Windows Vista repair".  The Favorites folder was still intact under users //favorites, but each category subfolder icon and each subordinate link icon seemed blurred or indistinct.  I had to create a new subfolder for each existing Favorites subfolder and manually filled again with the links by clicking on each link in the old subfolder as an 'add to Favorites' IE in the new subfolder.  Now, I find the same thing with my photos.  I noticed that each user //Pictures icon subfolder and each file in the subfolder name icon is blurry, but when I create a new folder it is crispy. I also noticed that each listed fuzzy subfolder is noted as empty when the cursor passes over it even if each contains the original set of photos.  I don't understand how to recreate the photos under new folders.  Is there anyway to reactivate these files other than their opening, renaming and save under a new name?  My Corel Paint Shop does not recognize these subfolders fuzzy or blurry image files.  Any suggestions?

  Hello.  I have Windows Vista (boo) on my laptop.  In the past I've created shortcuts on the desktop for applications and programs and they inserted the icon on the desktop.  The only time wherever I got the generic icon, for example, document, spreadsheet, internet, etc. has been when I was creating a shortcut to a document, etc.  I know I can do a right-click on the shortcut and click on change icon but the options it gives me are more associated with a linked program systems.  Can you help me, please?

• Cannot print on firefox now blue arrow blinks and report in aspx?

  Until a few weeks before I could open a report in ADP and preview before printing but also print but now when I select print that flashes a blue arrow and no preview appears. When I click on the blue arrow (which is black, not not flashing) and a list of reports pop up. Then I have to go to the download file on hard drive to open the report. Until this week the download was in pdf format, now he's in the aspx I can't open or print. I want to back when I select the report it will preview it immediately and I can then print it.
  It works the way I wanted to in Internet Explorer and used for in Firefox. I like the other aspects of Firefox, but not how it prints NOW.
  Someone can help me. Tired to follow the instruction of "Fix printing problems" but could not find all the items of the stage as the "firefox" tried the menu button button but the next step isn't there. 'Reset the printer firefox' did not help and could not figure out how to open the prefs.js I wordpad in the 'reset all settings firefox printer. I am running windows 7.

  To develop this last suggestion:

  "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > Applications Panel

  Once the loading list, in the search box at the top of the list, type pdf , take a break while the list is filtered. Then check the drop down menu on the right side and if it is set to save the file, try to set it to one of the following:

  • Preview in Firefox
  • Use Adobe Acrobat (in Firefox)
