• Strange red light

  For the last two days, I had a strange red light at the top of my phone. This is not notification of light, I even left my phone down to 5% battery to ensure. This seems to be one of the sensors to the right of the speaker. I tried voltage, battery pulls and hides same wipes. No matter what I do I keep turning right when done reboot. my phone is currently in charge of 80% and its still on. If I lock the screen, unlock the screen and its still on. Ive gave these details to help with troubleshooting. If anyone has any ideas on what this might be or how to fix this problem, please let me know.

  The red light (proximity sensor) can also be triggered if you have detection of faces on or if you have any application this movement reqiures in front of your phone. For example, the 'Waze' application uses "Swip hand on screen" feature and sound always on when I have this application running.

• CS6 - strange red box trying to save as

  Hello world

  I have an annoying problem that comes from developing CS6...

  When I try to "save under" I get the corner of a red box on the screen next to the cursor and I don't know what it is. This occurs when you press CTRL SHIFT S.

  So, instead of opening the Save slot, I am able to draw a red box, as if I can choose something, but when I release the mouse button, the box disappears... and nothing happens, it does not allow me to save under.

  Anyone had this happen? I have something clicked by chance? How can I get rid of him? It's annoying me!

  I can save by pressing CTRL ALT S, but I want to use the good old fashioned CTRL SHIFT S new...

  Can anyone help?

  @thebundok, I had this same problem and thanks to a mouse and keyboard sharing the program called "Mouse Without Borders", there an access to CTRL + SHIFT + S key to take a screenshot of custom, if you use this device or a similar program like synergy you can check this.

• How to disable the syntax checker that generates red underscores

  I searched and could not find anything. Is it possible to turn off or delay the red underlines that arise when you type in the sql SQL developer worksheet? Just something that concerns me.

  Try checking under Tools-> prefs-> Code Editor-> PL/SQL syntax colors-> Styles available: PLSQL errors

  I know not if unchecking "Enable Highlight" turns off the line or not... but by changing the line color to Transparent or what you background color is expected to dismiss.

• Spelling as I type does not. It is enabled in the preferences, but no red underscores

• Strange red arrow that appears sometimes

  Every now and then I accidentally knocked a mysterious key combination that produces this rotation arrow thing, canvas. What is it and what is the command key to make it go away? I saved the file always fair, closed and reopened, but I'm sick of what happens, I use Photoshop in my illustrations more & more. A google has failed to get an answer!

  

  It is a tool for rotating the canvas, which is useful if you are using a graphics tablet. Its one of the Tools sub associated with the hand tool. Its keyboard shortcut is R. You turn it off by selecting another tool or its keyboard shortcut. Try: hand or v for moving or probably more almost b for brush.

• Red strange shadows in the portrait of backit in the ACR - but ok in ViewNX

  I've recently been ships consisting of a D300 using ACR without any problem. Until...

  This photo has some very strange red shadows when they are imported using ACR5.5. But when using the Nikon ViewNX 1.4.0 that they seem perfectly ok. I also tried to use ACR4.x (the one distributed with PE6) and it's just the same as 5.5. The entire batch of photos taken using this lighting system show the problem. I was using a Dlte2 on minimum power behind the subject, pointing to the camera and the reflectors on the sides. The camera is to use the AdobeRGB space.

  The problem is most visible under her chin to the right of his hand and the hair just right there.

  I would be really grateful to all points of view as to why it seems so "badly" in ACR but looks good in viewNX and behind closed doors. And how can I do this processing...

  Your shadows are clipping in ACR value 5 by default. Drag the black slider to zero should solve the problem.

• Add title report Word which by default is save-as

  I am trying to create a new Word report from a template file that will automatically fill in the title and have a default value entered when the user press "Save".  I tried to put it in 'The Word Document properties' by setting the title field.  It does not set the title, but Word done something weird.  The first time you click on save, it puts the first line of text in the file name (as it would with any new document with the empty title property).  If you click Cancel, and then hit save again, it will use the title given to the title property.  It is a strange thing in the word, or is it possible to force it to work as I want it?

• Red spots on the skin when printing with the HP PhotoSmart 8400 printer

  I am trying to print a JPEG image that is very high resolution (3000 x 2000) and the quality is superb on my monitor.

  However when I try to print on my HP PhotoSmart 8400 printer there is a strange red 'sand' pattern (pixelation) that appears on the skin of most of the bodies of the subjects. I did the test the page and sample page that look ok, but does not use the same colors and has not any skin tone (it's a picture of Orchid).

  I tried this on glossy paper and regular paper, and it seems to pretty much the same, with the effect more pronounced on glossy paper. I also tried to change the image in several different ways, including lowering the resolution, changing colors and adding a blur gaussing, but cannot get rid of the strange grainy effect.

  Can you get it someone please let me know if it is a common problem with the device, or if my photo is somehow wrong? If Yes, where can I get a picture called to test the printing of skin tone, or how can I solve the problem.

  Update: I tried with another photo on the web and I see the same effect. Given that this printer is a few years old I start thinking that it's just a physical limitation of the printer.

  Found problem - I replaced my cartridge 99 and that fixed it.

  You cannot compare a value of aspect listed with an enumerated value of UIColors. The real 'value' of the constant ConditionUnderlineIndicatorAppearance.WAVY is 1937208953, the UIColors. RED is 1767007588 (values taken directly from http://jongware.mit.edu/idcs6js/pe_ConditionUnderlineIndicatorAppearance.html and http://jongware.mit.edu/idcs6js/pe_UIColors.html). In any normal circumstances should these values be identical.

  In addition, you test "If apples are sad then heaven is rich" to check the misspelled words:

  1. the conditions themselves have nothing to do with misspelled words.

  2. the way in which the terms are displayed on the screen - wavy, dashes or solid - have nothing to do with misspelled words.

  3. the color of the interface 'Red' has nothing to do with misspelled words.

  You seem to be assuming that there is a relationship. The fact that conditions and misspelled words can be shown on the display by a red, wavy doesn't mean anything at all.

  The only way I can think of "spell check via the script" is to use a check before the direct flight and to analyze the results of this.

  You can check your language settings in your Subject: preferences page to make sure you have the correct language configuration. Go to the tab content for languages. You can also make sure that you enable spell checking in the Advanced section, under the general tab.

    ) > Options > advanced > General > "Check my spelling as I type".

  Also, check your dictionaries to ensure that you have the right installed:

  You can always see if spelling is enabled for the correct language by right clicking in an input box. "Check spelling" must be checked and that there should be a submenu of 'Language' which shows the dictionary that is currently selected.
