Strangeness Smartphones blackBerry synchronization between BB & Entourage 2008 about event reminders

Hello

When I sync my BB to my Mac, everything seems to work fine, but the next time I have sync, all my calendar events now have reminders.  They do not have to start in this way, and I don't want they have reminders.  Does anyone else have this problem?

Mac OS Leopard, synchronization with the PocketMac software.  (All software are the most recent available.)

Thank you

Curt

  • BlackBerry smartphones no synchronization between the curve 8520 & outlook 2010

    Hello community!

I'm a newbie on this forum; I'm french, so my English is perhaps confused...

    Here's my problem detailed below:

    Info on the device

carrier: Orange France - but I don't have internet on my laptop (I use it on the phone...)

Information model: curve 8520; OS version: v4.6.1.314 (no provision)

    Apps and free space

    File: 142691188 bytes

Installed apps and their version if possible.   (Go to settings, then Options, then applications): no

The BT model/version device (you have to look at the BT device): what is it?

    BB Desktop Software: v7.1.0.41

    My question

I checked some-related posts on this, but it's a little different.

For my settings, I choose to sync from my PC to the Terminal, the only contacts & calendar with outlook profile.

When you synchronize, it seems to fill up in the reading of the stage of the Microsoft Outlook calendar, and desktop software (v4.6) then goes very slow to play a recording and crashes after the reading of 222 results; then, it opens a window with 'Rim.Desktop.exe application error - the application generated an unhandled exception' (in french). I checked with the forums without finding a good solution.

I followed the advice to cleanly uninstall Desktop Software with my previous settings, download the last (but identical to the one I had) version, re-installed, re-set my settings, and it hangs again.

Any suggestions would be VERY APPRECIATED!

    Sincerely yours

    Hello

I am pleased to tell you that my pb seems resolved!

    What have I done?

One of my colleagues told me that I could have too many folders in my calendar.

    So:

-J' copied my outlook 2010 calendar - to have a backup, just in case...

-J' erased all records of 1 August 2013: to do this, I searched for all meetings, sorted by end date and choose the one I want to remove (I noticed that I had a record displays a huge amount of time, but has not taken the time to study)

    - and I started the synchronization; I have no more error message, I noticed that I was still about 1000 records schedule, but it synced without any pb

-J' checked on my device and recordings are here!

so, I don't know if it's a problem with the number of records, or with registration multiplied by XXX...

As it seems to work now, I won't try your solution yet ("if it ain't broke... ») !

Thank you very much for your help! I'll keep this thread in my archives!

    best regards to you all

  • Disorder of Smartphones blackBerry synchronization of Outlook 2007

    Hello

I have a Blackberry Curve 8330. I am running v Desktop Manager 4.7 (newly installed) and my application on my Blackberry versions are version 4.5.

What I try to do is sync my calendar appointments in Outlook 2007 to my Blackberry. I read the guide of the user, followed by the installation procedure and he sees my profile in outlook (Outlook default value profile). Once he finished the installation process, it attempts to synchronize and it fails. I get the following error message:

    "No available message store.

I looked in the forums to find answers and all I got was this message very unhelpful of the Blackberry support and Service Page: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/microsites/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB15564&slic...

Please help, I need to get this function works as soon as POSSIBLE

can anyone provide any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Mac

OK... I did some more googling and found the answer:

The problem was with a version corrupted or incompatible of MAPI32.dll with the Blackberry Desktop Manager and Microsoft Outlook. Given the problem and the tools that Microsoft offers in Windows XP and Windows Vista, you can make the correction within 5 minutes.

    Here are the steps...

    1. Optional (I did not follow and it worked): output on both the Blackberry Desktop Manager and Microsoft Outlook clients. Ensure that the Outlook.exe process is not running in your task manager.

    2. in the default installation of Windows XP or Windows Vista, go to the C:\Windows\System32 folder. You can also get there by typing in %systemroot%\system32 initially--> guest run.

    3. in the System32 folder, find the file "MAPI32.dll" and rename it to "MAPI32.dll.old" or similar.

    4. in the System32 folder, there is an another file named "" FIXMAPI. "." EXE"which can show everything as FIXMAPI depending on your configuration. Double-click to run the file, it will create a new version of the MAPI32.dll file.

    5. make sure the new file in your System32 folder. You may need to press F5 for or go to view--> Refresh to display the newly created file.

Now start to the top the Blackberry Desktop Manager and re - configure the Sync feature. The Microsoft Outlook Connector - no available message stores error error message not should no more be there!

  • Smartphones blackBerry synchronization error message

Encounter problems when synch'g my BB8830 and process Dsktp.During error message "BB has encountered a problem and needs to close." Redo the synchronization generates the same message and it stops always at the same point (for example, point 9 of 188). Download of calendar Ms. It rarely happens and stops at a different number every time.

Hi and welcome to the forum,

You have a file that is corrupted in Outlook calendar, look for an empty space, symbol or a corrupted contact

picture of the record. I would remove the 7, 8, 9,

Then, use this procedure to clear the BB calendar:

    http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB04950&sliceId=SAL_Pub...

Now, try to synchronize. If you have identified the wrong file fix it. If not, add one at a time until find you it.

  • Smartphones blackBerry synchronization with MS Outlook calendar

I used my BB with MS Outlook calendar. So far it works very well. Recently, a few articles on my Outlook calendar disappeared, but are still on my BB calendar.

How can I get these items on the BB to sync to my Outlook calendar? Is this possible.

    I appreciate any help.

    Thank you

    Tamara

sounds like a problem of multi calendar

Open your calendar on your BB, click options and meu

under fat calendars that make you see (address email, facebook, default of the unit?)

Click on each of them and see what is the number of entries for each

next go back to your home screen, go to options (for wheel) and then advanced options, default sevrices

only one of these elements under fat calendars earlier is mentioned here beside CICAL?

If you had entered with more than 1, you have a problem of multical

one who is by default would be that you synchronize successfully, the other calendars that had entered and are by default not wouldn't entries do not sync

There is a new article that can help you with m, new multicals for whoever you want by default

  • Smartphones blackBerry synchronization error code 0 x 83860028

Need sync help - during the synchronization of hard wire for Office Outlook, I am now receiving Intellisync error code 0 x 83860028 (which has never happened before), and he abandoned the synchronization.  Impossible to find mention of this anywhere code and do not know what is the origin (it stops after reviewing all records in Outlook contacts).  The error occurs on two separate BB with different contact lists.

Any ideas would be appreciated.  Thank you!

I received the same error message.  It's because I had created a new Outlook.pst file to my system of MS Outlook and deleted the old.  The fix was to go to the Blackberry Desktop Software, go in the Organizer, click Reset, and then click on settings.  Check the appropriate boxes, and then do a synchronization.  This process rewrites the data Outlook on the Blackberry

  • Storm Smartphone blackBerry - synchronize Outlook with Blackberry Desktop Manager 5.0

When syncing my calendar and notes to outlook on my Storm, I see all the records read and updated... But once it goes through all the updates, a message appears that says "a moment please...» "and it then closes the sync and returns in the Office Manager.  Does that mean my sync is complete?  All my data seems to be there, but there is no confirmation message indicating the synchronization is complete.  I installed the ver4.7 Desktop software and I remember that this is obvious when the synchronization is complete because it stated so.  Does anyone else have this problem? Or you can check that this is the new way that it syncs on 5.0?  Thnx.

    Hi lovemuzak,

Welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums

Not to worry... It is normal that Desktop Manager 5.0 to do at the end of the synchronization. This message starts to blink on the display and the TI will return to the GUI Desktop Manager.

All data must be up-to-date in this case.

    See you soon,.

  • Smartphones blackBerry synchronization of Emails

    Hello

I'm having problems receiving emails from work on my Storm2!

We have a microsoft exchange without BES server and I wanted to know if there is anyway to sync my phone wireless with mail/contacts/calendar/tasks etc. - its seems to be what making known, but very slowly, my device is the display of read and unread emails, but this isn't what is on my work PC!

BlackBerry offers an app for that?

To receive emails on a Blackberry need it a BES?

I thought owning a Blackberry was going to revolutionize my experience of e-mailing, could simply go back to the iPhone!

Since you are not sure, I do notice:

    • You come to offend those in a support forum for users of BlackBerry with your threats of iPhone community.
    • Then, without pause, you criticise these comments as "not constructive and it does not help anyone.
    • Oh, can pretend you that you know what I mean... lol.

So, learn to play well with others and act like a big boy now and let's all agree well in the sandbox sand.

You can't do what you are wanting to do it via WiFi. It's just not possible. I'm sorry. There is no 'midlet' for this purpose.

    Your options are, roughly:

    (1) synchronize your contacts, calendar, notes and tasks via USB > Desktop Manager > Outlook. Your mail will be pushed via a BIS account. It syncs, but rather to "reconcile" for your mail server.

To synchronize contacts, calendar, notes and tasks and balance/ELECTRONIC MESSAGES on your device:

    (2) get an account BES, Exchange shared hosting server to something like hassles for the BES server.

    (3) to host your own blown full BES server, Exchange and get a BES of your carrier account.

    (4) try the new BESX when available. See the RIM site for more details.

I might be missing one option.

  • Smartphones blackBerry synchronization/reconciliation is more email

My Blackberry Bold 9000 has all of a sudden, without apparent reason, stopped receiving emails. I have three e-mail accounts that are supposed to be sent to it, and the last email I have received on any East since yesterday evening. Manually, telling them of reconciliation does nothing, and I also followed the steps suggested to activate the option of reconciliation and the new, return service directories, remove the battery and wait a minute before you put it in, etc..

Then I tried to add another e-mail account. It has synched up very well with the new account, a Yahoo, so I tried to delete 3 accounts (2 gmail, 1 Basic gmail via an another domain name) and then re - adding them. No chance!

It is useful to know, I was out of the country last week, but the plan I was on delivered successfully my email during this time, and as I noted above, I was also received them once I got home.

What can I do? Seen by e-mail on my phone is very important for me!

    This problem has been resolved

    Thank you!

  • Smartphones blackBerry synchronization with MS Outlook

    Hello

I just bought a BB8330 curve and loaded into the Desktop Manager version 4.3.0.17. I click on synchronize and get the window that has two tabs, synchronize and Configuration. When I go to the Configuragtion tab and click Configure SNYC, I get another window which asks me to check memo, calendar, tasks, address.

When I check on one of these I get another window that asks the synchronization software. I have only three options, None, Yahoo, or ASCII importer/exporter. None of them are what I need.

My calendar, Memo, address book and tasks are all on Outlook 2000 and it does not come as an option. I was looking for a solution, but have not found one.

All the patches would be appreciated.

    Frank

The problem is that the software supports more Outlook 2000.  I believe you must have Outlook 2003 or newer. When I upgraded to 2003, problem solved.

  • Email to Smartphones blackBerry synchronization WAS not now works

I have 2 email set up on the BB and they were very good sync yesterday.  Today nothing now.  Usually when I turn on m BB the morning straight pop e-mail messages to the top.  Nothing today.  I have not changed the settings, if someone has an idea what could be the problem?  I had been to every email, done the 'Options' thing, been to the 'Email Reconciliation' and checked everything.  All settings seem correct.  Reconciliation wireless is enabled.

If this could have something to do with summer time which didn't happen this weekend?  I just read something to say I'll have to go through certain processes so that my BB understand the time change.  Please tell me that is not so!

Thanks for any help you can provide.

You are very well. The following sentence "BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.0.73 and later" means something beyond this version 4.2, so you're good to download the DST patch

  • BlackBerry smartphones to synchronize wirelessly with your Google Gmail, Contacts and calendar?

I just read the Blackberry email on how I can have now the two-way sync between my Gmail account on my BB and BIS to sync Gmail, calendar and Contacts.

    Just a few questions:

    (1) when I followed the installation instructions, there only a box sync Contacts.  Does this mean that Mail and calendar is synchronized to the auto?  The post office has always been instant (it arrives in my Gmail and then shortly after coming on my BB).  I'll assume that the calendar will work the same?  For clarification, I don't use Gmail plugin... I have my setting address gmail.com by BIS.

The messages I read or delete (by selecting the box mailbox & completed) on my BB appear to be above and the same job on my Gmail inbox.  That's great!

    (2) my wife and I use our annexes to deal with each and other Google calendars, events on his calendar will appear on my BB?  Or only in Google?  With Google Sync, I could see events she has added to her calendar on my BB and Google Calendar.  I want to keep this feature.

I had Google Sync installed, but uninstalled today because I thought it would not interfere with the new BIS synchronization.  I've added an event to my calendar of BB, but it has yet to appear on my Google Calendar.  I also added an event to my Google Calendar and it hasn't appeared on my BB calendar.

    (3) my Contact sync that has happened and now I have 3 entries for the same contact on my BB.

I can't find any other information about these new features... has anyone else tried?

Kent, a two way sync gmail to remove/read messages and contacts has been activated for several months, since the BIS 3.1 activation, I think that in June or more.

Sync gmail calendar comes with BIS 3.2, which is not available in the USA or in North America yet, but will be in a few weeks. BIS 3.2 hit Europe last night (early this AM).

I'm not surprised the bound announced does not have implementation, RIM never puts dates and details on these things.
