  Pictures interface is a little interesting... up in the title bar, there is a set of arrows that comes of years the collection and finally moments. You cannot select an image until you are at times. Once you are at times, you can select an image and it can drag on the desktop. However, I suggest that rather than drag on the desktop that you select the image (or images), and then select export on the file menu. This option allows you to make choices on the photo (s), including where you want to put, if you do not want to put them in a subfolder and a few other nice options.

  Are you logged on as administrator?

  If this isn't the case, I would recommend what to do once. If Yes, try to run the organizer directly from his exe in Program Files by right click > run as administrator. Now try to send a picture message.

  It seems silly to have to ask about this but

  How do Center you the image on the print paper when you print in Picture Package.  I looked in all the menus and even went to the online help and there is no option to center the print image.  So when I print, I get an image that is pushed to the left side of the document.  The print preview shows it is off center.

  There is no option to print an image in the Center during the printing of the image package. The picture package is useful when you want to print the images in he predefined layouts, otherwise you can use the individual prints as suggested above.

  Here is the approach to file dialog you asked--use it instead of the "FilePaths = GetNaviSelFiles()' in the command script I sent you:

  The trick in the TDR file I sent you was set up for mode "exanding" in the "Page layout settings" dialog box  It is an old display option that can cause problems if used in bad situations, but it seemed that it would make your life easier for this particular task.

  Hello people,

  I'm still fairly new to LabView, please bear with me.

  I'm interested in doing a Subvi, which will receive bytes on a VISA from serial port and write each line to a greater (concatenated) string, so it can later be stored in a file. In simple terms, I want to save all the data on the serial port for 8 tests to be completed. There will be 6 cases of this in the parent VI, so he needs be modular.

  I expect a series of 8 channels of the source serial communication, each line begins with "Success" or "Failed" then the test. for example:

  The current method I use must react when there are present bytes in the buffer in series, and then identify a match (currently it only identifies a match of 'Success').

  Here is a basic example of using to concatenate strings. Since it is always very difficult to know if you call your Subvi several times or if you call once and want to to read all the results I won't comment much more on it. This example would read all the results and the output format string you want to write to a file later or do whatever you want with it. The basic constructs of what you will need are illustrated here. How to encorporate in your application will be difficult to say without any code beyond the wick you have posted.

  I have converted a timestamp to a date/time string in the format mm/dd/yyyy to display it in a table of stings. Now I'm pulling on the chain of time out of this table and try to compare it to the current date.

  It seems to me that I can't compare dates if they are strings, because I tried to convert the date to a date/time string and compare the string that I pulled from the table. This doesn't seem to work properly.

  So, I want to take this cell that I pulled from the table and convert the date/time string in a timestamp for comparison. Anyone know how to do this, I tried the example in the help, but I can't seem to get this to work.

  Just so I want to take a date/time string in the format mm/dd/yyyy and convert back to a timestamp in the format mm/dd/yyyy

  Here's a quick and easy string to timestamp approach that makes use of the analysis of the chain (a really powerful feature) and the date and time to the second function (a name strangely enough).

  Analysis of the chain (range of channels) can be configured to transform JJ YYYY and MM in 3 distinct digits.  Then we are going to feed those in the date/time function seconds (range of time).  What actually makes this function, is turn a particular cluster in a timestamp.  It has a reverse function that turns a timestamp in a cluster, there are other things we could do with the pair of them.  In all cases, the cluster breaks the timestamp in useful things like the day, week, month, year, etc.   Create the cluster as a constant since the left node of the function of time and then it wire to a bundle by name and bob's yer Uncle.

  Any help would be great. I tried with regexp_substr and also the function TABLE (comma_to_table. everything works for the list with 4000bytes and below.)

  Nothing is taking the long list of the values of more than 4000 bytes. Help, please.

  An iteration to create your lists is not the most effective approach, I personally use listagg and chunk 4 k of lists, but I'm so busy, as a quick solution for you, try the following...
