If you have forgotten your Windows password, there are several ways to recover or reset:

  • If your PC is on a domain, your system administrator must reset your password.

  • If you use a Microsoft account, you can reset your password online. For more information, see the Web to reset your password page.

  • If you use a local account, use your index of password as a reminder.

If you've tried these suggestions and still unable to connect:

  • If you have Windows 8.1, you will need to reinstall Windows.

  • If you have Windows RT 8.1, you will need to contact the manufacturer of your PC.

  • Accidents during any boot (crcdisk), can enter the recovery system and startup repair, but I forgot the password.

So I'm repairing a computer for a friend, but I can't connect to windows at all, and the recovery utilities require a password that the user does not remember.  Is anyway to recover this system?  I don't think they know where is the installation CD.

Recovery of some manufacturers process asks for a password (Acer, etc.).

    Contact the manufacturer.

It's Microsoft's policy regarding passwords, if you are referring to the system of password:

Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

Hi, I'm trying to reinstall XP Dell after my system crashed. The laptop

can not work in safe mode. I can't restart a system of derivation.

Can I reboot in MS DOS to reconfigure in normal startup mode?

If you're stuck in Mode safe, that's far more than necessary.

Your laptop should boot from the CD.  This will start the PC in one

a specialized environment that will allow you to install, re - install and

repair XP.  You should be able to see a "press a key to boot from.

    possible problems:

    (1) your installation CD may not work

    (2) CD Player no longer work

  • Help! I deleted all MyRIO software and it is stuck in safe mode

    Hello

In the NI MAX interface, I saw that there was a new version of the software to intall, in the section where it is possible to add and remove items from software to MyRIO among a list with checkboxes. The last option in this list was something like all erase, remove all software or other similar texts.

I did intend to install the new version of the software after that. Then the MyRIO restarted in safemode, whith the led blinks three or four times every 5 seconds. And it was never recognized by the computer.

I tried the button to reset without success. The MyRIO is still stuck in safe mode.

Then I tried to communicate using the serial port on my computer set up according to the Guide to MyRIO, fitting RX, TX and GND of the connector on the PC in the ports of the UART of the connector has MXP. But the MAX NOR see the MyRIO, there is no response to the serial communication.

How can I install the software again in MyRIO?

    Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards

    Rodrigo.

    Hello

Today, I managed to communicate with MyRIO and now its working again.

The RS232<->UART using the MAX232 IC worked, but I couldn't install the software in MyRIO via this interface.

Without doubt, I uninstalled the software OR associated with MyRIO from my host, because when I plugged the MyRIO using the USB interface for my other computer, he acknowledged, and I installed the software into it without problem.

    Kind regards

    Rodrigo.
