  There is no upgrade for the editions for teachers and students. You can continue to use the version you use, or you can buy CS6 with no upgrade price, or subscribe to creative cloud. However, I believe that if you are still eligible, you are offered a discount on creative cloud.

  In 2011, I bought Adobe Photoshop CS5 Extended Student and Teacher Edition (Mac, English) for download, but now I have reinstall it on my computer and I can't seem to find where to download the student/teacher edition in particular, that the normal version (that I tried for the heck of it and found that it does not accept my serial number). Any help in order to find this version would be much appreciated. Thank you.

  The only difference between the normal and student/teacher is normally in the license, not the software.  Make sure that you try to use the serial number on the version correct appointed suite.

  How can I download and re-install Photoshop CS5 Extended student and Teacher Edition (for Mac) for which I have a license?  I lost the previous version in a disk crash.  I tried to download the full installer for Photoshop CS5, but I was told that I could not run the installer because I didn't have authorization.

  CS5 was released before Gatekeeper of Mac, which means that he needs to know if it is from a known developer.

  I bought CS5.5 in 2013. I installed it on my macbook pro and now I intend to buy a new Macbook. I wonder if I can install it again on the new laptop. Or if I can move somehow CS5.5 from the old to the new laptop. Also, I wonder if I need to go through the verification process, all since it's a student and teacher edition.

  Hi Kenny,

  You can use the same serial number on the new machine without any problem. Just make sure that you disable the product on your old machine before installing this on the new Mac. To disable, you can simply go to help > turn off in one unit. In addition, you can use the following link to download the product on your new machine.

I followed these steps with the version closest to you, that I could find, which was of CS5, and although my computer says that the files downloaded, nothing was installed... and I can't understand how to install... and I'm afraid that I don't have the same version in the trial that the CD I own. Any advice would be greatly appreciated-plus of the reason why I wanted that a faster computer was so I could run my photoshop out there!
