  Well, after you move a large number of files and the contents of the file autour, I found a solution:

  Delete the line
  user_pref ("dom.storage.enabled", false);
  of prefs.js solved the problem.

• How can I activate Javascript in Foxfire 29,0? Subject: config does not work.

  I just downloaded the most recent Foxfire available (29,0) in the hope that I can access my gmail account. But it still says "Javascript is not enabled. Subject: config does NOT display a preferences menu, so I can't turn Javascript on. I tried to download add-ons to enable or disable Javascript power, but they are not compatible with Firefox 29,0.

  Should I stop using Firefox altogether? I can't access my Bank, my credit cards, or my gmail accounts, nor can I access YouTube. It's what I use my browser-Firefox is more useful for me, unless you can give me a solution for this!

  The pref browser.newtab.url is no longer supported in Firefox 41 and later, so you can no longer use this to set the new tab page.

  As the subject says, my Firefox crashes now immediately at startup. (It's on Windows 10 64-bit.) Here is what I tried which did not fix the crash:
  -Refresh
  -Reinstall
  -Disable all addons
  -uninstall the software which provides plugins (Flash, Acrobat Reader)
  -delete the profile

  Here are the situations where Firefox goes not down:
  -safe mode
  -use every night instead of 40.0.3.

  In the mini ' General' tab, uncheck the box for "use hardware acceleration when available.

  Well, sometimes it happens. I had a problem with Office on a neighbour and uninstall HP computer and reinstalling Office, it has not fixed the problem only a complete new beginning. You probably don't want to go to this extreme, then I suggest that you continue to download and manually install the office updates.

  Monday evening (20/07/2015), I installed Acrobat DC. Since that time, microsoft Outlook does NOT work. It starts, but fails to verify all accounts with an error that says that the data file "not available".   It would be better if adobe did not try to "help" us with things like e-mail.

  Thanks for the reply. the link you posted did not work in this particular case. This error started when I installed acrobat dc. It has happened before. I was able to fix by removing accounts in outlook and then adding them in, select the .pst file that was used before when you create the replacement account.

  Other than that, acrobat CC works very well so far.

• Black square Popup artifact does not set the 5.02...

  I just downloaded and installed the newly released 5.02 hoping it would address many issues.

  A question is a video artifact that has been detailed by many users since the release of version 5.  A small square black pop up as you move your mouse over any window... and then immediately disappears.

  This problem has NOT been resolved in version 5.02 on my system.  I waited 10 weeks for this update... and it remains a problem.

  Can you check your VM's vmx file and see if the following entry is present?

  If this does not resolve the issue,

  disable the mouse shadows "Enable pointer shadow" tab mouse pointers.

  I'm assuming that you have already completed the basic steps such as ensuring that vmtools update.

  If the problem persists, disable 3d acceleration.

  Loss of ability to restore the toolbars. Closed and do not have menus or options to open the toolbar. Basically no Firefox options.

  Addons not load when FF opens. This seems to have started after 3.5 and execution of the 3.6 update. I tried to uninstall and following the guidelines of 'cleaning up' after uninstall. However, even after this operation and reinstall FF the problem still happens. A theme to settle and work but do not addons load. They install, but then do not run. There is no indication in the right lower part of the bar's FF for those who have an access point there.

  In my question I have it solved. I had to use a registry editor that would allow me to search and pull up multiple entries both for "mozilla" and "firefox". Then I looked these keys entry and deleted once which were clearly associated. What I did after the Mozilla online knowledge base to do a uninstall complete. Once this done I restarted the PC and reinstalled FF 3.6.8 then tested by installing an addon I've had problems with. This fixed my issue. He's clearly left behind them that can lead to problems of registry keys. I up and running now.

• Subject: Blank does not properly

  When I open a new tab I put to go to About: Blank. Subject: Blank display 8 of my selected tabs, but now it's showing only 4, the top 4. I thought at first, it was a new update or something and there were only 4 now, but then I dragged a new tab in the menu my bookmark on the page About: Blank and it showed my 4 other pinned tabs. If I drag a page marked with a bookmark in one of the slots "Ghost" it just sent me to this page. I don't know if it's just a bug in my computer or a real problem. Any help is very appreciated.

  Hi, see if anything here helps: you can change the number of tiles on the Page of the new tab to zoom in or out (Ctrl and + key, or Ctrl and - key).

  You can also keep the same zoom setting when a new tab is clicked: Type Subject: config in the address bar, press ENTER, accept the warning, scroll to browser.newtab.preload and double-click on it to change the 'value' of true to False.

  It is also possible about: config to change the maximum number of tiles, scrolling to the browser.newtabpage.columns (or Rows), then right-click > modify to set a new number of 'value '.

  As an alternative, you might like to try the add-on new tab tools.
