submit the form now?

I can't box 'submit now' to send the form to a specific e-mail (I updated mailto: and address) he seems to want to save on my computer instead of sending it out. Suggestions? Using acrobat 9 pro to create the form, any other works to complete the form, does not

You must save the file before submitting...

    I'm filling out a form that is available on a site. When I click on the option to fill out and submit the form 'online' a pdf document is displayed in chrome with the following text

    «To display all of the content of this document, you need a later version the viewer PDF.» You can upgrade to the latest version of Adobe Reader from www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html for further support, go to www.adobe.com/support/products/acrreader.html"

    Needless to day, I installed the latest version. I even reinstalled using the link in the message, but nothing helped. Whenever I click on the link to go forward, I get the same message. Question: (i) is it my PC/software (Vista), (ii) is the site where I'm trying to submit the form, or (iii) is it the software acrobat reader. Note that I used successfully the last version to fill out and sign forms.

    It is none of them. It's Chrome, which is ignoring Adobe Reader and showing the message.

    Solution: just save the document (with the message) to your desktop. Then open it in Adobe Reader. The 'real' should then display.

  • Error with reCAPTCHA when you submit the form on Business Catalyst hosted on site

    Hello

    Just had a client complain that the online form on their site of MUSE is not properly presented. When I tested myself for reCAPTCHA image verification is neglect and throw an error on a new page.

    As this is a site of BC hosted, the form no longer requires a verification key (it was previously hosted elsewhere until recently).

    I discovered from what happens on another of my sites... Any ideas please?

    The error I see is:

    ERROR: An error has occurred. The image verification failed. If you believe it is incorrect, please contact your system administrator or go back and re - submit the form

    There may be several reasons for this captcha or recatcha them included in the form, no editing html with form etc. including.

    Please provide the url of the page where the form is inserted so that we can check on our end, also have you tried re - insert the form and then check or update the new site of Muse in BC?

    Thank you

  • Submit the form of web publishing app point does not work

    Hi guys, I have a web form application point that I put on an edit page. I dynamically add the itemID/OID of the web application element that I want edited in the src of the form. When I submit the form, I get a thank you page that thank me to add a new item (it's an editing tool) and when I check the web application part nothing has changed! What is going on? On the flipside, I went to the Web page change app point by clicking on the link generated by BC and when I submit that form, I get the same exact page thank you, but this time, the changes stick. How can I get my form to work? Thank you guys!

    $('#webAppForm').attr ('src','/ CustomContentProcess.aspx?) A = EditSave & amp; CCID = 21437 & amp; OID = "+ itemID +" & amp; OTYPE = 35');

    This is the code used to change the src and then I don't

    $('#webAppForm').submit () to submit.

    FEC

    There is no attribute "src" on a form.  I think you need to change the 'src' in 'action '. DOH!  Also, I am sure you know this, but make sure that the user is logged when you try to send this form, so don't forget this form is in a secure area.

  • Display message to users when they submit the form

    Like most, I am relatively new to creating PDF forms and need my form to display a message to the client when they submit the form. Something like:

    "Thank you to send your form our team will contact you shortly with instructions.

    I created the form in Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro to be distributed and returned to PDF attachment by mail.

    Any information you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

    Is the form put in place to submit to a web server or by email?

    Edit: Oops, I see that you have configured it to submit by e-mail. If you have created your own button submit, you can add an additional JavaScript action after the action of 'Submit form' which uses the app.alert method to display a message to the user. Something like:

    // Show a message to the user
    app.alert("Your message goes here.", 3);

    More information on method app.alert is available here: http://livedocs.adobe.com/acrobat_sdk/9.1/Acrobat9_1_HTMLHelp/JS_API_AcroJS.88.135.html

    Hello!

    I have a coldfusion form. What I need to be able to do is to submit the form and do run a ColdFusion function that I defined. Is this possible? If so, how?

    I know it's possible with a JavaScript function.

    Thank you!

    function saveResults () {}

    }

    ' action =' http://pluto2/brandi/serverstats/saveresults.cfm ' method = "post" >

    Your function is used if I understand your needs. The
    the form action will determine what action submit resource
    applications. Make nature without HTTP account status / & resposnes.
    This resource will have no information of this application, unless you do
    something to pass.

    The solution that requires any change to your code is simply
    put the appropriate information service in the action of the form.

    ' action =' http://pluto2/brandi/serverstats/saveresults.cfm/link?query=#sql# '

    If you're open to the biggest change to your code, it might
    probably be simplified and more preformant with the use of persistent
    scopes such as session and | or application to store results and | or
    the given sql so that the second application that use the same exact data
    don't have to regenerate it.

    Sheesh.  This takes us into a whole new direction.  You should have stated this at the beginning.

    To return to your original pages.

    In the page of the form, replace-

    $insertGoTo = 'display.php ';

    on this subject.

    $insertGoTo = "display.php?". "item =". $_POST ["select1"];

    and do nothing in the display page.  Simple enough?  Should work now.

  • Required radio buttons - Possible Cause of unable to submit the form?

    I'm missing something about radio buttons.  Create a form of 9 page using the layout fluid and with the previous help from this forum, am being tested now.  It's a long questionnaire and questions are radio buttons, some are checkboxes.  For radio buttons, they are a Yes/No, each set contains 2 buttons and I use the question numbers under the name of link, for example the Question a 17, 4 sets of boxes for Yes/No to sub questions A, B, C and D, thus binding names Q17A, Q17B, etc..

    I've done every yes / no game needed, thought I want their answer Yes or no for part A, B, C and D, each.  By making the final test, when I click on send, he said to the less mandatory field was empty export.  I answered each question if necessary or not, thinking I can I have had a few errors in the mandatory fields, always got the error, then divided the form on 8 separate test documents, each containing only a single page and page 9 to submit in order to reduce it to which pages/fields were the cause of the problem.  On pages that have no radio buttons, only the required text responses, I don't have the message.  Only on pages with the radio buttons is I got the message "at least a necessary field was empty", which brings me to ask me what Miss me about the production of the required radio buttons.  In the Help menu of option buttons, but not this aspect, I found a lot, and maybe I went beside her and would appreciate any help, thanks.

    Hello

    Radio buttons can sometimes give wrong when it is set to required: see here Re: required Radio button red color in a dynamic form

    One thing to make sure is each Yes/No is a group of radio exclusion and the exclusion of the radio has the required value:

    Good luck

  • Submit the form before the popup display

    Hello.

    Here's a scenario:
    * two tables with a composite foreign key
    full-page with master form on this data
    * dialogue a popup with details of this table
    * on the page, there is a button with added Popup behavior show that points to this contextual dialog box

    Now when I click on this button to show popup for me it works well.
    The problem is when I create new record (master) and when I open this pop-up dialog box (without refreshing or submit page) the secondary table cannot create new records. Because there is a composite foreign key I need to send the form before showing popup.
    So there must be some link button or command which includes show contextual behavior and before you see the popup behavior, there must be some kind of bid.

    Any ideas how to achieve that?

    THX
    Pinfz5

    You can always go through the bean support, send data and raise the popup using API ExtendedRenderKitService

    FacesContext facesContext = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
    ExtendedRenderKitService service = Service.getRenderKitService(facesContext, ExtendedRenderKitService.class);
    String script = "var popup = AdfPage.PAGE.findComponent(\"" + popupId +  "\"); popup.show();";
    service.addScript(facesContext, script);

  • PDF form: error message on the button to submit the form

    Hi all

    Has joined the forum late last night (late midnight) and I am so grateful for the quick response from many of you

    the questions on the forms PDF which gave me mouth hanging open.

    Here are my recent puzzle:
    Why I get a "this operation is not allowed" when I have my button submit the test form?

    I'm after a video from You Tube to the T:

    All properties > Actions > Mouse Up > Sumbit form > Add: mailto: [email protected] > PDF of the entire Document > OK
    Then I'm saving the document with the new version, opening name to the test drive since my clients will not have Acrobat Pro.

    and several times, continue to receive the error message. And the strange thing is that on previous versions, I'm sure I had it working

    properly at a given time.

    Any help much appreciated.

    It will do when you use a version of the player before 11 reader if the document is not compatible drive. When you send the complete PDF file, it should be saved first, something only 10 player and front normally cannot do. Acrobat and Reader 11/DC do not have this restriction, so that they are able to submit complete PDF forms that have not been activated drive.

  • View a record of Contacts if they are already Contacts in Eloqua to submit the form Eloqua previous e-mail address

    Hi people,

    My apologies if this is an easy question, but I'm new to Eloqua, and I can't understand it, then I hope one of you, kind people can point me in the right direction.

    Basically, I want to have a form on a hypersite were to enter their e-mail address of the user and then click on submit. On submit they are redirected to an another hypersite that displays a form containing some of their contact record fields, if they are existing users I want the fields to be pre filled with contact information, and clearly if they exist not in the system will be the only area that will fill the email address.

    My problem is that I'm not sure how to get the fields to pre-populate in the second form, I know that you can set to pre-populate in the form builder, but im assuming that when you load the form he needs to know what you save are searching fields be filled with If it exists. All this will be done within Eloqua itself, i.e. Forms and the hypersites.

    So just I want to load coordinates into the fields of the form to the e-mail address that was selected on the previous form.

    any ideas on how to do this?

    Any help is very appreciated.

    Kind regards

    Andrew Mc.

    Hi André,.

    This can be done

    (1) on page hypersite - when you insert the form you must click on "map of form fields. This will take care of your form fields hypersite element.

    (There are two types of prepop, one if a person comes to an email and another, if a person comes to a hypsersite page, that it will convert the right type)

    (2) the first form, they argue with their email, change step of final processing of the page of confirmation - "create hypersite and redirect to PURL. This can be done by going to the processing step and click on the small arrow next to the stage of confirmation page and choose the right one. Configure step to send them to the page you created with the form.

    I hope that's enough sense to help you get started.

    Omar.
