Subscribe to online calendars

Hi all

I have problems with subscription calendars online and have them appear on my calendar application. Because the feature is not available through the app, I tried to use the office and access the live calendar using IE. I was able to subscribe successfully to an online calendar, except that I am still unable to view the calendar through the app. When I access the options of the calendar app, I can only choose the main calendar for the Hotmail account (which is the main account). I tried to change my main calendar to the subscribed calendar, but that has failed.

Is there a way to get online calendars to which you have subscribed too appears in the calendar app?

Thanks in advance,

Allan

Hello AllanNguyen,

The version of the calendar that comes with Windows RT is not the feature you're looking for. You do not have the option to use a different version of the calendar, the Outlook.com version, as a tile on the start screen.

If you connect to your e-mail account Hotmail with Microsoft to Outlook.com online in the interface user of Internet Explorer 10, you can access this version of your calendar by selecting the small arrow next to Outlook in the upper left corner. Once you're in the calendar, select the icon with a PIN at the bottom of the screen. There is an option for Pin to Start, select it, giving you access on the start screen, as did it the calendar app. You can then go to the application provided with Windows RT calendar and it detach from the start screen.

You can do the same thing with people, if you want the extra features and same Hotmail/Outlook.com himself. I hope this helps, please mark this as an answer if it doesn't!

My boss uses icloud calendar with his family, but I would like to let me see (not modify it, just see) with my business account (a google calendar) so that I can be aware of his personal appointments.

So far, we tried this: iCloud: share one calendar with other

However, it displays only the IDS of the members of his family, not the calendar sharing options either private or public. Can anyone help please? If another Member of the family is "the Organizer" and only that person can share the calendar with third parties?

He cannot share your calendars with other data of people in them, that simply is not good, that's why you don't see the option to do.

  • Subscribed calendar works on Mac, but not iPhone

I have a calendar on my Mac (http://docs.smsd.org/districtCalendar/ics/?id=1009http://docs.smsd.org/districtCalendar/ics/?id=1009) and you can see the events, but on my iPhone, I can see the calendar, but there is no events.

I tried to subscribe to the calendar on my iPhone, but couldn't.

The subscription is in the ICS format, so I suspect that this may cause the problem.

My current workaround is to subscribe via my Google account, which allows the calendar to display on my Mac, and iOS devices, but I would stay within the Apple ecosystem if possible.

I'm not having problems with my calendar. Subscribe to a calendar and I also synchronized Exchange calendar.

You can use the guest user or create a new user to test. Make sure you have your Apple ID and Exchange passwords.

Switch to the new user by logging incoming/outgoing or use the fast user switching.

  • iCal keeps crashing, cannot access the calendars folder in library

Hi, I know that this question/very similar who have been posted, but I have a problem with iCal on my Macbook Air. I am running OS X El Capitan v 10.11.5. iCal does not work on my macbook; currently when I open it, only about 3 weeks events value are displayed (that are shifted back exactly 4 weeks now) and no other event in the past or the future appear.

I see all my events both on my calendars iCloud on my iPhone and using iCloud online.

I tried to access my calendar folder in the library, but he can find. When you try to delete my iCloud account to put new, nothing happens. I hit the button Delete and then tap on delete of Mac, but the iCloud account remains.

I'm not sure if that was the issue, but I subscribe to a calendar and had some problems, so I created a new Calendar iCal subscription-related. I tried to delete the original, but whenever I do, I ran into iCal crashing. I've seen a lot of responses from forum saying that I had to go in my

Libraries-> folder calendars but I don't see a folder calendars here.

Any advice on how to remove the calendar and/or iCal works correctly again would be appreciated; Thanks in advance for your time!

Hi Boris: I'm the kind of low-tech and does not even have a smartphone, but I also use El Capitan on my iMac 27 "and, like Yosemite, the library files and caches should be there.  To access it, hold down the Option key while you are scrolling to the bottom of the column to go to the top left corner.  You should see the library.  He has deliberately designed to use an extra step so that you won't accidentally inside.  You should see calendars.  I often erase 3 caches if there are questions, and they build back up again.  I also try to delete all external files, if I don't have a lot of space on my iMac.  Really, I do not use a calendar that many but a lot.  Hope this helps, but the library is hidden I guess to make sure that you don't go too much in.

  • Sync Google calendar in Thunderbird/Lightning problems

    Hey all,.

So I keep a Google calendar so I can access my journal of my phone (android) and my laptop (via lightning add-on from Thunderbird). After some difficulties with my android app (that I solved), it seems today I managed to banjax Lightning: I can view my calendars very well on my phone and in a browser on the site Google.com/Calendar, but the lightning on my Thunderbird tab remains empty (almost entirely).

I tried to remove and reinstall/reapply the individual calendars themselves (there are three, a staff, two wildcard 'holiday in [country]' and "Week numbers") of lightning, as well as the two add-on Lightning the himself (v. 2.6.6) and the other "provider for Google Calendar" (version 1.0.3) you will need to make lightning plays well with Google.

The calendars are displayed in the left of the lightning pane, if you can see * something *, but it does not display the individual events - the real calendar in the center of the screen remains stubbornly empty.

Creation of new events 'test' in my browser (or my phone) is not a problem, but they do not appear in lightning, nor my pre-existing events. * New * events created in lightning, however, will appear in my browser if I press the "sync" button in Thunderbird and can be successfully edited and removed from the browser.

I hope I'm missing something obvious...?

OK, got it solved... but I don't know why.

I tried updates (for Thunderbird, Lightning, the provider for Google Calendar, call you) yesterday when it first happened, but it seemed that everything was up to date. First thing this morning, an update for Thunderbird itself was available - installation (to 31.3.0) invite to an update of the lightning (at paragraph 3.3.1), although the provider of Google is always v. 1.0.3.

Once the updates have been made, I disabled the provider, subscribed to my calendars and resubscribed... and found my events. Everything works as it should now.

Hope this helps someone in the same situation, in that I was!

  • How to unsubscribe to a calendar in iOS9

    Hi all

This thread must be reopened. How to delete one/to unsubscribe a calendar in iOS9. More precisely the timetable "us Holidays. I tried to delete the calendar through the calendar app, as well as through settings > Mail, Contacts, calendars, but did not succeed. This calendar is listed under 'Other' calendars in my calendar application and has the status of "Subscriber" below. I did not subscribe to this calendar, and I want to stay, as I have a different holiday schedule, which I prefer. I tried to remove all the accounts that have been synchronized on the app including iCloud, Gmail, etc... without success. Currently, there is no account associated with the application, but this "Us Holidays" calendar remains under the section 'Other' calendars. I had 3 total synchronized accounts. An iCloud and two of Gmail. I visited each web version and confirmed my subscriptions. This calendar of "" we vacation "" is a calendar of red. I used the "Us Holidays" calendar for example, but a "Birthdays" calendar is here as well. How the f * I have this thing gone! He's certainly crazy my OCD tendencies.

    Sincerely,

    A frustrated user of calendar.app

    • Open the calendar application
    • Tap on calendars at the bottom of the screen
    • Uncheck the box that you won't see the calendar

Holidays in the United States is built in calendar that cannot be deleted, but can be hidden. Similarly for birthdays.

  • How to change views in windows calendar

When you use windows calendar in week view, it is the section above the first time slot that displays your appointments 'all day' - it can only Mount 2 - If you have more, you must use the small arrows above the right side to scroll down to see the next - is it possible to expand this section so that all (say 5 or 6) business appointments are viewable?

Unfortunately, this option is not available in the Windows Calendar.  There is no adjustment to adjust the size of the hours or change the size of the screen, it shows more entries without having to scroll.

The free Windows Live Calendar http://windowslive.com/Online/Calendar has a tab to view all the events and activities for a date of apeccified - which may not be exactly what you are looking for, but it can be a very good workaround (you can't see all dates at once and the problem of the screen is essentially the same - but you can see the activities on a given date with the push of a button) without having to scroll)-it's worth a try because it's free (and you can move your data to the new calendar if you decide to spend if you don't need re-einter anything).  It also has other features, you may want to explore - it's better than the plain Calendar Microsoft.

    I hope this helps.

  • BlackBerry App Google Calendar app

So I downloaded the Google calendar from the Google game store app. So far most of the apps I downloaded from Google play appeared to work, with the exception of this one. It does not sync with my online calendar. It seems to say it wants to install game of Google services, but I did and it still does not see it. What I am doing wrong?

    Hello

Many many Google apps play simply do not work... Google is not "play nice" with BB. But for a Google Calendar, it is not necessary. BB10 can integrate natively with a Google via CalDav calendar.
