Subtitles are always on by default when I use Netflix. They are disabled by default in the Apple TV settings, but I still have to ask Siri to turn them off when you use Netflix. Any thoughts? Thank you! This will not occur in any other application.

Recently, I buy a Sony BDPBX18 and activated my NetFlix account. I also have Netflix on my Wii, but I can't get the subtitles on NetFlix, when using my layer of Blue Ray. I can with my Wii or computer. On the remote control, the button captions has no effect and there is no screen option that I can find. That is what it is?

Unfortunately watching a Netflix will come not with subtitles on the BDP-BX18. Netflix has control over what devices will be able to display their titles with subtitles.
I have Windows 7 64 Home Premium with Windows Media Center for a Home Theater Personal Computer. I can watch Netflix streaming movies with subtitles using IE8 or IE9 and Silverlight, but may not know how to activate in Windows Media Center. The always cheerful and almost all means useful Netflix Customer Service says only Microsoft can manage Netflix plugin for Windows Media Center issues.
No support to do this from Microsoft, does anyone know how to do this?

I have a blu ray/dvd receiver Sony model hdbe370 connected via HDMI to a Sony's Bravia TV. The problem is that when I go to netflix, the TV do not display the subtitle or subtitles of the film. I saw the same picture in my computer or Xbox and then I can get subtitles and cc. I tryyied in vain to find the proper setting in the receiver and the tv.

If a particular movie subtitles do not appear even after the steps mentioned in the link above, it may be possible that the subtitle data not in a format supported by your BD player. Cameras Sony BIV supports subtitles in the format of video overlay. If the subtitles for the film have been uploaded by Netflix in any other format as the broadcast LINE 21 format, then the subtitle appears during playback of the movie in the BIV unit.
In my project all the (sub-) titles and legends (in Dutch) remain in "Preview", but disappear (become the default values in English) after "publish for Devices.

I think I'm having the same problem! I don't know what is the appropriate word for what is happening, but my "flicker" happens every minute or so when I watch Netflix full screen. A very short time (about 1 second) the image type of duplicates and moves to the right very quickly. For me, this only happened on El Capitan.
