  now I'm still using very old Firefox 3.6.12 and I want to upgrede. I always using "save and exit" to my tab all open when quitting and not using bookmarks. total approximately 300 + tab open.

  Right-click on the drive icon.  One of the items in the context menu that opens will be in bold.  I guess that for you, the part in bold is to 'Search' and not 'open '.

  Or do you mean 'change' expansion, rather than "delete." Have you tried?

  And one last point: If the files have the rar extension, what are rar files. The file format does not remove or change the extension.  If you remove or change the extension, they will always be rar files. A rar file can only be successfully opened by Winrar or a compatible program.

  Point 1. Addresses go into your address book. There is no where else to put them. Don't want thenm in your personal address book. Add another.

  Point 2. You need to format addresses to a CSV file and save them in word as such. Excel or any spreadsheet will do a better job of that than Word.

  Point 3. The CSV file must be safed UTF-8 text. Excel, I know that is not an additional step to open the file in Notepad and select explicitly UFT-8 in the dialogue being required to Excel.

  Point 4. The CSV file should be im in the Thunderbird AddressBook using the import menu item.

  Point 5 you must align the headers in the CSV file explicitly with the Thunderbird ones uses, otherwise the address that you import will not be in the e-mail address field.

  You can also create a single line with the addresses of electronic mail in Word. Separated by a comma and the copy and place your cursor in the BCC field use the hotkey Ctrl + V to paste them into the message header.   I have a small program to store my names of genealogy and the jpg images of the Census pages where each name is found. The images have a thumbnail link which opens in a new tab to display the page real oversized census. In the new tab page of the census is small and not readable. How can I get the jpg image to appear in its original with schroll bars size so I can read the census in the firefox browser without using the zoom feature. It takes several clicks on the zoom to get the picture to a readable size and it's a lot of time, especially when I have several open images.

  OK, so the problem is not able to open new tabs, that I can't open new tabs by using the file drop-down and select it, I can't use Ctrl t, I can't use the button "+" at the end of the tab, and I can't get the right click and select new tab to work.
