Suddenly PES 6 and Bridge CS3 began to break

I use PSE 6 with Bridge CS3 on an iMac for about a year and a half now almost without problems what so ever. Bridge of yesterday crashed and now PSE 6 crashed twice within 20 minutes. Idid an iTunes and Quicktime update a week or two ago and an update to Flash a couple of days. Except that nothing has changed on my Mac. Has anyone else suddenly from the problems or is it just my own problem?

Thank you

I have PSE 6 with Bridge, bought and installed PES 9, which is the Organizer. The bridge appears in the menus for PES 9. Is it because I still have Adobe Bridge CS3 in the Applications folder? Now that I have the Organizer, is there a reason to keep the bridge autour?

Uh, it's because you're under 6 items. Bridge will not go away from the earlier versions of the EP, just because you install PES 9. You won't see any of this in PSE 9. PES 9 welcome screen, for example, by your other thread:

The bridge creates and registers the UserID as Photoshop bridge preferences don't.  When Photoshop ID corrupt user preferences Photoshop may not start.   See if you can find your user id Bridge preferences folder and rename it.  Then try to start the bridge.  The bridge can create a new set of preferences for your username and start correctly.

For a while Bridge CS3 crashes every time I try to use it with PES 6 (or even outside PSE6). On some forums, I found the information I need to create a new account. It is true that Bridge CS3 works correctly even on my guest account. Create a new account I find extremely heavy (not being is not a super expert MAC). Is there another way to fix the crash of the bridge under my existing account?

Delete bridge preferences: command + shuft + option when you start Bridge and keep the keys down until you see a window with a bunch of boxes of things to delete. Remove them all.

Make sure you download the windows files.

You must download a 7z and an exe file.  put them both in the same directory and double-click on the exe file.

Launch the uninstaller on both and check "delete preferences".

  • Adobe Bridge CS3 crashes every time that it is trying to open.

I use a MacBook Pro with 10.9.4.  Today when I tried to open Bridge CS3, it crashed. No error. Just hang. On several occasions.  I removed all Adobe and reinstalled, but the bridge continues to crash. I used the menu "Shift/option" reset the prefs, etc., and it still crashes. I downloaded a patch supposed to bridge & installed even if my APP store didn't want me and bridge continues to crash.

I am a photographer and dependent bridge as my photo browser.

Other ideas for me to try?

Well, I don't know what just happen to gremlins, but get this:

On a whim, I have kept only the key shift key while trying once more open the bridge. And he OPENED without crashing.

I was afraid to leave the key... but I did, and the bridge has not crashed. I have traveled some photo files, closed the Bridge reopened... WITHOUT the SHIFT key & its opening. I have now tried several times and it does not crash. And while I'm happy that it works, I wouldn't hold my breath that it will continue to work.  WEIRD.

I'm going to re - start the macbook pro and see what happens.

Adobe Bridge CS3 crashes when loading in my Windows 7 workstation.
I've recently completely removed, disabled and reinstalled all my Master Collection Adobe Creative Suite CS3 to fix some problems with another application in the suite, and now I'm surprised bridge continues to fail. In my mobile workstation, the same software (bridge) uses to run.

I tried to run Bridge under several compatibility modes. All have failed.

Is there any bug to know, that I should be aware of? Any difficulty?

    Is this a common problem?

Have you tried to reset the preferences?  Hold down the CTRL key and launch Bridge.  You will get a window to reset.

By accident, it means that the computer has to be reset?  It freezes?  Error messages?

  • PES 11 and Windows 8: Organizer does not

    Hello!

I installed PES 11 and 11 PRE on my pc running 64-bit windows 8. The programs were already work very well for several days, but suddenly the Organizer will not work. As soon as I start the program it starts up and disappers a few seconds later. I can only see it in the Task Manager as a process running in the background! When I start the editor first and then the Organizer (from the editor) then stayes Organizer and I am able to work with. De - and Re - uninstall already done several times. Nothing is changed. Pls help! THX

Try testing with a new catalog. Parameter preference files, it too can become corrupted. If a new catalog work, you can try to fix the old catalog.

Hold the SHIFT key when launching the Organizer to get Catalog Manager before the launch.

  • Bridge CS3 is no longer makes the RAW photos

10.8.2 PSE9 Mountain Lion OS.  Also running Bridge CS3 2.1.1.9 which I think came with PSE4, and which I have become fond of using as a tool to import photos and other measures at the beginning of my workflow.  I shoot almost exclusively in RAW and sometimes in RAW/JPEG.  Recently, after no change that I can remember, bridge is no longer able to view thumbnails of RAW files, instead showing just a miniature of a white sheet with the corner turned down; JPEG thumbnails make it very well.

I would be extremely grateful to anyone who can help me get the thumbnails RAW works again.  I suspect some auxiliary files outside of the main program package since Adobe is so fond of files useful in all directions if sprinking ringing the bells.

I tried to find a stand-alone Installer Bridge CS3 on the web that I could use to re - write everything what's missing, but I can't.  It's an unusual request, but if someone lend them to me also, I would be grateful.

    Thank you in advance.

    Bridge CS3 Thumbnails.jpg

It turns out that my sister is a packrat me and she always had her original PSE6 album, which was also bundled with Bridge CS3.  Uninstalled/removed 9 and bridge and removed all traces of the versions these and before I could find (for example library files) to a flash drive.  Installed 6 with Bridge and everything seems to be back to normal.

I hope that everything still works well and I will have to try-and-uh files library by a back or something.  Once it feels like everything is stable I'll put in my updates for PSE9.

    Thanks for your suggestions.

  • PES 10, Adobe Bridge

I installed 10 PSE on my Mac, left PSE 9 installed and removed PSE 8. Apparently PSE 8 and Bridge CS4 are not separate programs - although they appear separate for the user.  I had no intention to remove the bridge as it has been a valuable and widely used program for me. So I reinstalled PSE 8, and bridge again reappeared.

Now I can treat the Canon CR2 in PSE 8 or 10 files, but the bridge will not display thumbnails of CR2. How do I return to display thumbnails of files CR2 Bridge CS4?

The new organizing support program does not replace the bridge function. For me, organizing is of little value, as my 100 000 digital files are already in indexed folders. I need the bridge function as the front-end file viewer and support for PES 10.

Go to help > updates in the bridge to update it as much as you can go, but who's going to be several versions of the back of the cab. It's one of the drawbacks to continue using the bridge - cut Adobe updates bridge as soon as a new version of the PS comes out, so you're stuck to ACR 5.7, without support for newer devices. If you can't get bridge to update, you can perform a manual update from here:

  • Removal of bridge CS3 with Bridge CS4...

I clean up the previous version of the suite a mac CS3. However, I had a few questions I was wondering if anyone has a solution.

When you run Bridge CS3, images there Bridge CS4. There is no export function I know (is there?). How to do everything that is in Bridge CS3 to CS4 appears before I have remove the CS3 applications?  (this macbook pro that I use was responsible for CS2 days until CS4... I have inherited at work and need to make room but still keep intact images, I never used before Bridge all noob help is appreciated)

Bridge creates only preview thumbs for its own library of cache and not the

the original files, they keep intact in the same files you have now

    on your system.

You can uninstall safely CS3 without loss of images. However you will need to

to cache the images again at the opening of CS4, but that takes some time.

You will need to re-create new areas of work for the PS and the bridge, and then set

preferences back to your wishes, but that is only once. Keep in mind that

actions and brushes that you have created or loaded onto your CS3 application not

automatically copy. Better PS CS3 save you first in a folder, you can

easy access and in CS4 load again of this issue.

  • Bridge (CS3) turn dark pictures

    Hello

IM new to this forum and this website. It seems interesting, and for now I have a problem that I hope someone can helpe me with. Here it is:

When I click on a RAW image in Bridge (CS3), she, after one second, turns very dark and loses a lot of color. In other words, it makes the photo looks very bad!

The colourchange stays on when I open the image in Camera Raw of Photoshops, and when I go and open it in Photoshop 'normal '.

This problem does not exist, when it's a jpeg file, I opened.

I tried to resolve the issue in the bridge on the way to: Edit - Preferences and change the settings to "Convert to high quality when you preview" to "high quality thumnails.

For some reason, it seemed that it has solved the problem for that day, but now the problem is back (and the new setting has not changed)

I would be very greatfull, if can someone helpe.

    Thank you

    Frank

Sorry, Frank, I forgot that the camera profiles are not included with 4.x. You had to download them separately.

Both 4.5 was released, you had to use the beta profiles, here:

    http://labs.Adobe.com/wiki/index.php/DNG_Profiles

CS4/CR5.x from, they have included profiles of camera with plug in Camera Raw and the DNG Converter. So, you could either download the beta version, above, or install the DNG Converter 5.7 (which should also install profiles).

    Windows: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=106&platform=Windows

    Mac: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=106&platform=Macintosh

Then you should see the new profiles listed in the camera Calibration tab.

BTW, the second photo looks bad to me - much too red.
