Hi ravi1989.

You should bookmark the WebWorks documentations and read carefully before asking because all you can do is almost well documented and available here: https://developer.blackberry.com/html5/documentation/rim_orientation_element_1594186_11.html

  • Changing batch of Canon Portrait mode to landscape

I shot about 200 RAW photos using the Portrait Mode of Canon.  When I watched some of Canon's Digital Photo Professional program, I discovered that I would need to change each of them on Canon landscape for optimal Mode.  However, I couldn't do it in a batch.  I couldn't find anything comparable settings in Lightroom to optimize these photos.  If all goes well, I forgot something.  Does anyone know how to imitate the fashion landscape for Canon's RAW using Lightroom files.  Thank you!

In the Panel on the right to the point, refer to the Calibration section of the camera down. You can sync with other selected files.

Printer prints documents in Portrait mode, but not in the landscape!

    Hello Wayne,

I recommend to remove the printer and reinsert.

    To do this:

    1. Detach the printer from the PC.
    2. Uninstall the printer from the PC driver.
    3. Re-install the printer driver.
    4. Reinstall the printer.

  • Error: "can't stand running in portrait mode" when you try to access Windows Media Center on secondary monitor.

Title: Media center does not open on the main montitor and closed because school is portrait. How can I fix?

In Windows Vista Media Center opens on my secondary monitor instead of my main monitor. Because the secondary is in portrait mode that Windows Media closes with the message "does not support running in portrait mode. I disabled the secondary and rebooted Media Center which works well, but I don't want to have to turn off my high school whenever I want to get something in the Media Center... always on the second monitor by default. How to run on the main screen, because it won't let me start if both screens are activated. I have to use my secondary back in fashion landscape to move the Media Center to return to the main Setup screen? It's simply ridiculous from the start.

Let me answer your line by line:

    > Description of the question, I understand that you have a problem with Windows Media Center on the secondary screen. Let me know if I'm wrong.

Yes. This is what it says in the title and in the body of the text... was it not QUITE CLEAR.

    > 1) you have made any changes on the computer before this problem?

What does that mean? Who on Earth has a blank computer that has never been touched running on two monitors? Of course, there has been changes? What exactly you want to know?

I find this question to a complete loss of all time and wonder what kind of political support requires that ask you such a question absurd. Please fell free link my feelings on this topic to your agency for my account.

(> 2) which monitor do you have configured as default view? (Primary or secondary)

The primary is the default value. The secondary could be the value by default if I didn't say that Media Center opens on secondary education and not on HAND (Please read this as default, everyone in the world does) monitor.

    > Method 1: I suggest you to change the display in extended mode and check if the problem persists.

The display was already in extended mode.

    > Method 2: if the issue continues, I would also suggest update you the drivers for the secondary monitor and make as primary while the other monitor is disabled then try to turn the screen and check if it helps.

Why update drivers would change anything. It would not be... the problem lies in the reporting to the Media Center of the portrait mode, that has nothing to do with the hardware drivers; they report portrait mode very well, thank you. As for making primary and turning, wondering if there is anything that I could do otherwise than to resort to having to play with the settings of the monitor in the query, and I don't have to make primary of all... just back to the landscape and backward Media Center elementary school. This does not work... but should I have to resort to something which is, more or less, a workaround if the problem lies in the Media Center and not my monitor settings? The answer should be no, and incidentally, Media Center, once started and settled in portrait orientation (in windowed mode, otherwise you couldn't move) works fine, as long as you do not close it while it is still in this mode, because then he will refuse to start for no reason other than the programmer who designed it seems not know beans orientation or multiple monitors. It's funny that although Media Center does not default to the main monitor, it sends the message of demolition to this same screen by default.

To the people looking at the end who will not read everything above... it is what to do:

Back secondary to landscape mode and launch Media Center. Put the Media Center in windowed (not fullscreen) mode and move it will remind the main monitor... it will require a bit of hocus-pocus with the mouse if you cannot put the monitor physically return to the landscape, try it, you'll see. Close Media center so that it restarts next time it opens on the main screen. Reset the secondary back to portrait. VOILA! See you soon. (Please read this as a courtesy and not as applause.)

  • Problem U3014 don't let it go to Portrait mode

I just got my replacement screen, unfortunately, it's the same monitor Rev A01 March 2014... Lets see if it works. But in the meantime is there a way to switch this screen in portrait mode? I unscrewed all the screws and it seems there is no way to return the support for portrait mode. Why in the world they wouldn't have this feature?

    Bombadilio,

Like our U3011, it was not designed to go in portrait mode. The manual and the sales page claim that the U3014 can only tilt and swivel.

  • Screen of the blackBerry Smartphone will not portrait in landscape mode when, in the pages of sms and message mode change

I don't know if I've accidentally changed something, but all of a sudden I can not get the screen to switch from portrait to landscape mode when im in the pages of sms and message. I searched everywhere for an option that could keep me out of this point of view, but I have not found anything. Anyone know how to fix this? your help will be greatly appreciated.

Make sure that you use the latest version of the OS that you can find (from any carrier.)

You can probably get it to work again by removing the battery and reinsert.

  • How to determine if the device supports portrait / landscape views?

Is there an easy way to determine if the screen of the device supports portrait / landscape views?

(We need to provide different settings for the user)

Until recently, we used check similar to the following:

    If OS > = "6.0" & AccelerometerSensor.isSupported)

but this code does not work on the new Bold 9900 (which has the accelerometer, but has no landscape mode).

We are looking for a solution that doesn't invlove by manually checking the models...

    Thanks in advance!

You can use the DeviceCapability.isRotationSupported method to determine this.  This class has been added in BlackBerry Device Software version 6.0.

  • The Smartphones Blackberry 9500 screen settings touch blackBerry landscpe and portrait mode

I want to Blackberry 9500 give the possibility to choose the display mode in the settings. I want to have the control to choose landscape or portrait mode, or both. It is possible to have a list of parameter that allows to choose three different as screen mode:
    1-portrait mode only
    Only mode 2-landscape
    3 landscape and Portrait mode

If Blackberry can offer these 3 options, the user will decide the mode to use. I hope RIM take care about it and do the necessary upgrade of the operating system.

If you read http://supportforums.blackberry.com/rim/board?board.id=Hello you can see that RIM doesn't read the forum.

I don't understand this thread why you want to put tag "solution"? There is no solution for this thread again...

  • The mode switching landscape to portrait, what do I do next?

Hello everyone. I have installed the accelerometer in my application, configure the headphones, created a State of 'portrait '. What is the call to change the status of my _accelerometer.onUpdate ()?

If you try only to have your app support landscape and portrait orientations, I wouldn't bother using the accelerometer.

Listen for the StageOrientationEvent.ORIENTATION_CHANGE event or that I am in my application current just monitor Event.RESIZE and don't worry 'landscape' versus 'portrait', but rather just meet the width and height of the actual values.

I know the tricks of the Tablet OS developer's guide shows an example of using the accelerometer, but I must say it mystifies me why they bother proposing this solution.

  • BlackBerry Blackberry World film Z10 is not displayed in mode landscape on the projector

I followed the steps to preview (with the intention of renting) a movie (SkyFall) via Blackberry World

    1. I have connected my Z10 for my projector (Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 8350) via micro-HDMI port

    2. the movie preview appears correctly (in landscape mode) on the Z10 but it appears Potrait of the projector mode (title by an angle of 90 degrees higher than a normal landscape mode). I tried to use the Rotation lock, but that did not help.

This seems to be a fault as when I look at my home made movie via a maker of projects it correctly the movie landscape on the projector and my Z10.

It is affecting the publishing service (and will result in the loss of revenue for Blackberry) and issue of IMO that should put you out a patch for this problem as soon as possible. If you have a screen sharing session, I'll be more than happy to have a. If you want pictures of what it looks like on the projector, I'll be more than happy to provide those.

    Additional features that can help...

-While the film is presented, there should be a possibility to tilt/reverse the image which is projected to the projector via the micro-HDMI port - this will help you control the projections of film on the projector.

-The opportunity to change the image format, watching a movie

It is a known problem that affects the preview only.  Please visit KB33585
