swap hard drive now says Windows 7 not genuine
So, the hard drive Dell to my son died, and to avoid buying a new drive, I traded on an Acer that we had in the attic. All this is good, responsible drivers and it works really well spent. Well until he began to blink's is not a thing of product Windows genuine. I tried to cross and turn on and authenticate with the Microsoft tool, but it says that it cannot validate. Can I do here? I have the stickers of the Microsoft authentication for them, if this is useful.
Is the edition of Windows 7 installed the same as the edition which has already been installed on the hard drive dead? If it isn't, then it won't be not active.

Hard Drive/authentication problem Windows is not genuine.
My hard drive has begun to send me errors of hard drive so I bought a new. Then I cloned my original drive. I disconnected the original disk and booted from a new. But now, I get an error message that this version of Windows is not genuine. I can go as far as the sign on the screen, but when I click to sign I get a blue screen with a small error message in the lower right corner, saying that this version of Windows is not genuine. I get no response to any buttons and I have to power down. Is there a solution to this?
Hello
You may experience this problem if you have changes of hardware on the computer. Genuine Windows is a recurring process that checks your product key to be used with the hardware, it has been associated during activation. If the product key appears as not authentic or not valid, it is likely that the product key is used on another computer or is a counterfeit.
I suggest you to contact the Microsoft Product Activation Center by phone and check if it helps.

Get the message saying Windows is not genuine
Hey,.
The computer is maybe about two years old and it came with Windows 7 Home Premium pre-installed. Yesterday a box emerged telling me my copy of Windows is not genuine. I followed the link and tried the validation thing, but it's on this page for centuries now. I run ESET NOD32 antivirus, Malwarebytes, Super Antispyware and Spybot and nothing but cookies tracker was found on one of them. The only thing linked windows that I've messed around with lately has been uninstall Windows Office. Don't think that this would have caused a screw to the top, but who knows. No idea what could be causing this and how to solve?
Thank you.

Satellite P870 - swap HARD drive while keeping Windows 8 and Toshiba programs
Hello
don't know if this is the right place but bad start here, I have a Satellite P870 provided with windows8 and all programs of Toshiba obviously, I intend to replace the drive in the laptop, for one SSD, but obviously, I need to be able to re - install my Windows8 on new HARD drive, so my first question is how can I go about it. and then once I found my Windows8 how or even not at all do all the Toshiba built in goodies.
I understand all user data will be lost, I do not know how to get the windows on the new drive
Prior to do any create recovery media.
This recovery disk, which you can use to reinstall original Toshiba Recovery on new SSD/HDD image. Please don t forget. It is very important.
A friend of mine has updated its notebook with Samsung 840 Series SSD and is very satisfied.
To be honest I m thinking about doing the same thing on my laptop. -

Error saying Windows is not genuine.
I have an Acer laptop which is preloaded with Windows Vista Home Premium. Unfortunately, I lost the CD so I downloaded a torrent of Vista version when I reformatted the HD, but it does not accept the CD - Key of the label of Windows on the laptop. Is it possible that I can get the software active (i.e. a new CD key)? Thank you!
If you mean that you can not activate automatically, try to do it manually:
To activate manually, go to start, search, and type in slui 4 enter. Enter your country and press Next. You will be on a screen with a phone number and a bunch of codes below. Dial the number and browse automatic guests until you get to a human being. Have your handy product code because it will be asked. Explain the situation, but it's the same PC and only installed on this PC. They should give you a code to enter on this screen to activate Vista.
To solve the real problem, repost on the Forum of real advantage to:http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/genuinevista/threads.
I hope this helps.
Good luck!

I bought a laptop and installed windows pro. Windows has been activated successfully. After two weeks, I've had my laptop replaced with a new laptop, the same model (with the same characteristics) due to a defective part of the keyboard. They removed the hard drive of my laptop and inserted in the new laptop. After that, windows is reactivated in the new laptop and the activation was successful. Installed windows updates regularly.
Two weeks later, after playing a game online, I saw a message from 3 lines at the bottom right of the screen with the last line, saying "Windows is not genuine". I forgot the first two lines, because when I open my computer system properties, I checked that the glass is always enabled, and at this time when the System Properties window has been opened, the message of 3 lines down to the right of the screen suddenly disappeared. After that, I checked the windows update and installed the updates available and it is ok. Since yesterday I have not seen the message more. It came to my mind that, at the time the message appeared, is 30 days from when I activated all first windows.I just want to clarify if it was just a bug, or wrongly identified my OS as genuine microsoft? If it was just a bug, this message will appear soon? Hope someone can clarify it.Thank you.Well, your report does not indicate that everything is bad:
License status: licensedRemaining Windows rearm count: 3Trust time: 20/01/2012-12:50:35 AMBut your date will not, today, it's the 19th, not 20.
