  I just got my Torch 9800 replacement since my first only the battery was drainning (apparently a common problem).

  Until I returned my old Torch 9800 I backed up and also used the device switch option in Desktop Manager. When it asked me to connect the new device, I unplugged the old camera, he took to the shop orange and then plugged my new camera.

  Then an error has occurred and asked me to update the software on the new device. I did it... and then when I use switching devices, it asks me to connect the current device but the problem is... I don't have the camera more.

  Ah... never mind. While the device switch Wizard can indeed move a few apps, the backup/restore process does not have applications. So, in the State you are in, you must go to the source of your applications and re - get them. If you by AppWorld, the process is very smooth:

  I suggest that you clear the cache of the AppWorld application:

  1. open the App World

  2. go to my world

  3. follow one (and only one!) of these steps:

  However, things can be odd, depending on what you mean by "completely"? Several carriers push icons "teaser" to get you to install applications they're pushing. But the icon itself is not an application installed... rather just a shortcut to "tease" you to install the application. You can't stop these teaser icons.

  First perform a battery pull reboot as this device on remove the battery for a min. then reinsert it wit back up what your device restarts. Then give it a try and see if it allows you to uninstall this application.

  If that does not start then your device on Safe Mode, while safe mode remove the theme of your device. Options of > device > application > remove it of there.after conducting another battery pull reboot.

  I haven't actually tried a switch of the device with any one of these free apps, but I understand that the 'promo' apps fall into the same category as paid all your apps (and, indeed, all your apps). See this reference:

  All your AW got apps are linked through your BB ID. Therefore, if move you your existing BB during a new BB ID, all your apps will come along. Usability of them will depend, of course, on the applications are compatible with the new BB. But 'ownership' of them will stay with the BB ID and pass it along to device to device (up to a maximum of 15 changes to device in a year - the link above is actually outdated, stating only 4 changes are allowed).

  Have you recently added a third party application or upgraded your device operating system?

  Please post the error message "untrapped exception" together so we can help you get the best advice.  (Most contain specific information. (Example: "Eception Exception: Application rim_Bluetooth net_ (148) is unresponsive.'")

When you use the Application Loader, where it should say "COM1" or "USB - PIN: UNKNOWN", it's white, & you can't select anything. I'm trying to do two things.   It begins with a process to start properly, and there is an exchange of views. Note that this is not, by any means, guaranteed to work... but it worked to much to solve the problems they have. You could add to it the use of Revo or another tool to remove own software... There are cases where things are left behind, and if they are corrupt, they can prevent the resettlement work correctly. The goal is to completely, remove from your PC, everything that is in no way, shape, or form associated with BB (registry entries, ignored of records, etc.).
