Sync button on phone number smart blackBerry / DM4.5/Vista

Hello world

I'm trying to help two customers who have laptops of Vista (we provided) and RED Blackbarry 8100 of Vodafone New Zealand.

Basically they could sync fine for the first 6 weeks and then everything stopped.

I downloaded and installed DM4.5 and try to configure sync it's settings, but it won't let me change the settings;

Synchronize / Configuration / sync - button SYNC is not available!

I only managed to do once and that was okay, everything is configured OK, but I didn't know that it was in the configuration of the synchronization (now I do, and I can't change the settings).

I even installed the DM4.5 on a Vista PC cool who has never seen a before BB, and I can access this button to change the settings.

I also install the software as an administrator, and I deleted the files from BB-associates till I'm blue in the face and now just totally lost, and I was wondering what is the great secret of BB and their synchronization software.

If anyone can help?  The sad thing is Vodafone NZ gave these two total evasive and seem not to care.

Try to perform an uninstall of BlackBerry Desktop Manager, then set it up, running the program as administrator and by that I mean right click on the launch icon, select run as administrator - connected as admin is not enough.

* Edit... I just re-read your post... you hear you can click the button synchronize, and then click the element of synchronization on the left, then the sync on the right side button is gray?  The BlackBerry must be connected and detected by the Desktop Manager for this icon is active.

    It could be one of the three solutions... Try these:

    * For example, some countries have a total number to 8 (more than 3 for the country code). You must enter '8 '.

    3. you probably have "Content Protection" located on your address book.
    Look at the Options > Security > General settings. Scroll down to the content Protection > include addresses = no

    I recently lost my flip = (and had to get another cause of blackberry, I couldn't stand the nokia I have had. I ended up finding a 8110 pearl for a good price so I bought it. I put my SIM in there and couldn't be happier with it except present a problem.)

    When I make calls to other people the number points to the high 'private' or stuck on telephone, never call you. many of my friends and my family won't answer private numbers so it is a problem! I guess he's have an "identity" to restrict or something but I couldn't find it in the options. does anyone else have a problem like this?

    also, is there a way to change the tone sms/mms message? I can only change the ringtone.

    1. press on the digit key green to enter the call log > Menu key > restrict my identity > No. or never.

    2 profiles... change your profiles on the device > advanced > profile > SMS. He set the tone.

    I have recently reactivated my old Storm for my wife (his first smartphone). After reactivation, I tried to configure e-mail so she could check her Hotmail, but the Setup Wizard shows only one option - business with Exchange email. I know when I use to use the storm myself, I got the Hotmail and a POP e-mail account set up with no problems. What is a device problem or a problem of carrier? I had Bell activate the storm on a BlackBerry data plan (200 MB) minimal and the phone seems to work correctly (as a phone, at least!)

    Sometimes rebooting helps make the 'connection '. Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.

    My phone company Bell says I have to contact Blackberry so they can block the IMEI... How can you actually communicate with Blackberry?  I need to write and mail a letter?  Customers may not cause any direct contact with BB?

    It's hopeless.  Neither Bell or Blackberry can do anything. The phone can be unlocked and even changed the IMEI number.  I'm still angry at Blackberry to have no central depository of serial numbers stolen as a deterrent.

    I am the owner of a BlackBerry Curve 8520 user. I am based in Trinidad and Tobago. I have connected E-mail three suppliers, tstt/outlook express/google handset, yahoo mail and Hotmail.

    The handset is synced with my computer. I run Windows XP Pro SP3.

    My camera has worked perfectly up until a week ago I noticed that emails from three suppliers mentioned above began to appear in my list of phone call. Most of them do not go to their respective places, or if they do, should I try to remove from the list of calls they are also deleted from their respective places. It is now a gene as e-mail does not appear in the list of calls. At least it's never happened before.

    I will be really grateful if assistance can be given through your forums to alleviate the problem.

    Now, I think that you have rightly identified that your being unfamiliar with the device is the cause of your problem.

    The message file you reference, ideally receives notifications of calls, emails from all accounts linked to your device. It's an icon of useful to have on the home screen so that you can see in 1 click messages etc., thus leaving the remaining space on this screen for icons other than the e-mail accounts.

    I realize that some have had a thin problem, which some I hope I helped, but all of a sudden my attachments will not open. This includes jpg, word, and pdf files...

    Did a reboot. Always the same. A peak have suddenly opened at some point, even a single pdf, but without logic, others do not. Generally small files sizes.

  • No. phones service smart blackBerry, cannot understand why.

    My Blackberry Curve has currently no service, and can't firure why. For the record, I'm home, and I've always had the service before. So here's what I can tell:

    * Instead of saying 'connected to T-Mobile' liike it usually does, on the front screen, it says: "failed to initialize."

    * In the State of the Service, only the voice service says "emergency".

    * In the Mobile Network Options, there my mobile network such as AT & T, but my network is T-Mobile, and I didn't AT & t at any time just by owning the phone.

    Any help? The last time something like this happened was when I forgot to pay my phone bill, butI talked to T-Mobile, and is not the problem. Thanks in advance!

    OK, so it seems that I answered my own question. I was still with my old phone SIM card, and he died. So I took one that came with my curve and has been change to T-Mobile to that one, and now it's great to be working again. Thanks for all the suggestions!

    Hi, having some problems finding how to see on a curve 9320 call history. If I press the call button I can see a few calls, but not all, is there somewhere else to see? Also is there a reason for which incoming calls from numbers blocked/withheld would not appear in there? Is there a setting that I could change so I can see which resonate blocked time numbers?   • Problem of phones ringing smart blackBerry

    I had a Blackberry with verizon 8130 and it worked fine, but he had a problem with the internal usb, so I got a replacement phone.

    I'm a new, and everything was a lot. Except when I started to receive calls. I could not hear a ring tone. I've been getting calls and the setting was Loud. and for assigning phone was on vibrate & tone and I got a blackberry ringtone set. So, I double checked to see if it was just me.

    I did the battery pull Tower, but it did not work.

    I made the scroll to about 70 tip ball, and that no longer works.

    CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

    Mine actually did this not so long ago.  My husband removed the battery and the sim chip and then put back them in about 5 minutes later and it was OK.  Has been since...

    I ringtone on 9900 set to always, so he should keep buzzing in and out of the Holster, but when I take it out of the Holster, the ringing stops. My 9300 does exactly the same thing. I changed it "out of Holster" ring that works as in the case, but when it is set to sound always stops out of the Holster. I'm not touching the buttons when lifting so can anyone help with this please?

    Your case incorporates a battery that aligns with the mechanics of the phone to put to sleep when the Holster.  When you remove your phone from the Holster, your phone wakes up and the screen lights up.  Your phone detects when it is removed from the Holster and the ringtone stops, if your contact hears always sound ringing on their end.  There is no way to change it or turn it off; It's the way that your phone has been programmed.

    I recently downloaded from blackberry app world, and since that time the calls come through with only the number even if the contact is stored on my list.

    I deleted the blackberry app world to try to overcome this, but nothing helped.

    Nobody knows the solution for this because it is very annoying

    I solved this problem. This isn't actuallt something to do with the world of the BB app, it's the lock I activated. After spending some time looking for the forums, I found the solution here.
