• Tungsten e2/lack-sync: freeze when you try to synchronize

  Hello

  I use a tungsten e2, synchronization with the missing 6.0.4 sync on a mac 10.5.4 (German). I synchronize via the cradle.

  When I try to sync the e2 freezes while the "synchronization" message appears. Black-White-flashing bar appears on the tungsten-screen (maybe 2px height). the only solution is to soft reset.

  I tried the hard reset, removed the sd card and checked the cable connections - nothing.

  is it possible to solve this problem or should I assume that the tungsten material is broken?

  This forum but found no solution.

  I did not check it with another program, but I found the solution now, I think:

  When I synchronize without the cradle (i.e. directly by plugging the cable in the pda,) it seems to work. Strange, isn't?

• Sync freeze

  Hi, I have a 755 p w / service Sprint and when you synchronize it freezes when it gets to addit. If I close my pc and disconnect the battery from the phone (you need to make it out of the gel) and restart all and uncheck the addit application on the hot sync settings and do another sync and everything of fine, recheck and gel returns.

  I had a problem like that with my book and downloaded a few after market cleaner (dbScan), I played with that and no help. All ideas

• Auto Sync freezes

  I have 8 GB Fuze and initially loaded some 1000 songs Ok.

  Now, when I try to auto-synch I got at about 1130 and stops the synchronization operation.

  Info tells me I always free 2925 MB.

  Firmware is V02.01.17A

  I re-formatted, reset, and delete "mtable.sys" and started from scratch and arrive at roughly the same point and it freezes! (Time previous free 2890MB)

  I also have a mounted 16 GB uSD card. iniitially I have loaded on 2000 tracks in this, but now can't get anything in it. I formatted the PC drive and started from scratch. No joy.

  Have also tried it without the card. All the same.

  I also tried the firmware update, but it does not work!

  I use Media Monkey (towards 3.1.1.1261) for synchronization

  Any ideas would be appreciated, or I give up and send it back?

  
  

• Hot Sync freezes on the calendar... Centro (sprint) & Windows XP

  Hope you can help... have you tried most of the suggestions thread.   Hot Sync & Palm Desktop (v6.2) worked without problem.   Palm Desktop has suddenly didn't show no data in Contacts or calendar.   Subsequent attempts to Hot Sync froze during the synchronization of calendar.  After reading the discussion over there, I followed the procedures to uninstall Palm Desktop (including registry changes).  Re-install the v6.2 met Frost even during the first attempt to Hot Sync.   Uninstalled v6.2 new & re-installed only the older version of office provided on CD-ROM.   Same result during the first HotSync (a gel or a continuous loop during the calendar sync... no error codes displayed).  My unit features: Centro from Sprint with software v1.08 (operation without any problem).   Specifications of the PC: Windows XP Pro with Service Pack 2.   Hot sync with USB cable connection.

  Additional comments: my HotSync problem is now solved.   If you encounter a similar problem, please read the following threads for the solution.

• Cannot synchronize Centro via USB in Windows 7

  Hi, I just installed Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit (clean install). I had already used Vista and could synchronize perfectly. My sync freezes 2 or 12. The strange thing is that there are two instances of 'Agenda' listed in the hotsync window. Also two each "address book, 'To Do List' and 'Notepad'.

  I installed Palm Desktop 6.2 I just downloaded on Palm.com. After you run into trouble, I followed some elements troubleshooting on the Palm support site. I uninstalled Palm Desktop and reinstalled, but got the same thing.

  I think the problem is the reader. When I look in Device Manager, I get a little gray question mark next to the device. Not sure if that's a problem. I tried to reinstall the driver by clicking 'Update Driver' in Device Manager and pointing to this filepath: C:\Program Files\Palm\USB_Driver. He said in very well installed, but then I always get this gel when you try to synchronize.

  Fixed an issue with the help of tech in this thread.

  It turns out it was a corrupted date book entry and had nothing to do with Windows 7.

• Firefox has created thousands of bookmarks, sync is slow, FF is slow, freezes FF

  I can't delete bookmarks by traditional means because it freezes FF.

  I need to mass delete these bookmarks AND I need to purge my new account FF Sync. How can I do? The synchronization of the former allowed you to purchase favorite in the cloud.

  The large amount of bookmarks are all folders "Mozilla Firefox". It is impossible to delete them all.

  I use sync wth 3 computers (2 offices, 1 noteboook), 3 iOS and Android device 1. It's a nightmare!

This problem became more obvious when moving to the new synchronization. Because of the geography I couldn't put all of my devices on the new sync simultaneously. This is perhaps something on the synchronization of the old and the new when devices are split? Very strange.

  My Vista system had mouse freeze for 10 or 15 seconds every few minutes for some time now, too long for me to start simply undo the restore points. I read what is on the net about others who have had the same problem and tried many patches, but without success to get rid of or even change the problem.

  I have a MS optical blue USB mouse, running on an ultimate Vista update install on a Dell workstation. Gel mouse is often coincides with the hard disk activity, so I tried to decommissioning and anything that may run intermittently the hard disk in the background, but once again without any effect on the problem of indexing.

  Recently, I brought up the Task Manager and left open. A few minutes later when gel mouse happened again, I saw "mobsynce.exe" appears in the list of processes, and then disappear a few seconds after the mouse resurrected itself. That's what happens whenever the mouse crashes, at least on my system.

  I had never heard "Microsoft Sync Center", and read on this subject on MS gave me not a lot better understand why it's popping in and out, as if it were. I tried to turn off all the files and readers, without changing the frequency of freezing.

  MS wrote of Sync Center can not be disabled or uninstalled. I have not all attached to my machines, I know mobile devices. I am on an intranet home, and I have the HP MediaSmart Server on this network, as well as some other machines.

  In Sync Center, I have nothing that could be stopped to be synchronized, no evidence of errors, etc. Its only function on my system, seems to be to freeze my dozens of mouse of times every day.<|:-)>

  For all the world's information...

  I rebuilt the USB stack and introduced to the mouse backwards to a USB mouse. I experienced the same problem as before, gel apparently slightly worse, which makes the mouse unusable. The only solution that worked in my situation is plug the USB mouse with a PS2 port adapter and use it that way. There are still sometimes 'breaks' but not gel, and they may have other causes.

• point of freezing up when trying to SYNC in developing

  I use Adobe Lightroom on the Cloud.  He was already working very well, today whenever I try to SYNC the settings from one photo to others in the develop module, it locks / freezes the entire program.  I have to force the program to stop smoking and start over.  Then I try again and it freezes AGAIN.  Very frustrating!

• Centro palm desktop - sync calendar, freezes

  My little subject line said about everything.  Been syncing fine until today that used to synchronize the calendar.  Initially, it wouldn't sync and the log says my calendar or my computer was full, so it wouldn't sync.  Now, it freezes just straight up trying a sync schedule & calendar.  With the help of desktop 6.2.2.  Everything syncs ok if I put the calendar to ' do nothing '.  the search of funds to find errors returns no corrupt files.  Nothing appears overtly wrong with the calendar on my centro.  Earlier today, a group of appts disappeared from the phone (before I tried to synchronize and failed).  After the synchronization has failed, the starters were back in double.  I went back and remove duplicates (leaving only 1 entry each) on the phone, but it still won't sync.  There is no duplicate desktop, as I can tell.

  So now what should I do?

  I had this same problem. I spent about 2 hours, the phone today with the support of palm. Here is the result: on the centro that I had to find and remove corrupt files (calendar of events) there. For example, I have a 4-5 years event that would only "uuu1" or some similar nonsense. What Palm had me do is go on a third party site and download a version of an application called dbfixit. www.pimlicosoftware.com. the software detects the problem but the free trial version can not fix this so I had to go to each corrupt event and remove it myself.  I don't think that my support person realized that the freeware version could not the problem of automatic adjustment. So there was a little confusion there... but in the end, I have everything fixed and hotsynched (rescue) I hope this helps you,

• Captivate 5 freezes when opening sync video edit

  When I insert a video slide and go to properties > video > edit video Timing, Captivate freezes and I need to restart the program.   Not sure why happen it all of a sudden. You can restart captivate with the new set of preferences.

  1. close Captivate.

  2 remove the record of 'Captivate 5' to place "C:\Users\userName\AppData\Local\Adobe\".

  3. restart captivate and try the workflow you mentioned.

• LR6 freezes, does not and if it does not not sync settings

  I've now uninstalled and reinstalled LR6 several times now.

  If it import pictures in mode develop it makes its own parameters and does not synchronize my settings.

  Blacks are only white contrast-21 + 16 + 6 etc etc.

  He drives me crazy!

  Suggest you to update to Lightroom 6: maintenance of Lightroom

  And for the synchronization settings, select a group of cool pictures (unpublished) > select synchronization settings > edit them and check if it works well.

  Because I have the 256 GB iPhone, my intention was to fill this space with music files without loss. Were rip CDs to the ALAC format using dbPowerAmp. Apple Lossless, default profile.

  I've tested this two days ago with just a few files and everything works great.

  Today, I'm unable to transfer these files to the iPhone during synchronization. I put all those I want in a playlist, then checked the as a playlist to sync with the phone.

  During synchronization, he dies in the first file to be copied. 'Copy 1 of 728...' and it just is there forever. I thought that maybe there was a problem with an individual file, I have so removed that out of the list, try to synchronize again, same result.

  At this point, sync just seems to "freeze". Hit the little 'x' to stop synchronization doing nothing. I need to unplug the phone so that it can synchronize.

  Have restarted the PC, phone rebooted but still get the same result.

  Update - it seems to work now, but I deleted all THE music from the phone and started around. As I have now 10,000 songs to synchronize again, I hope I won't have to do it several times.

  You can try to remove the calendar in lightning, restart Thunderbird, and then recreate the calendar.
