Cannot synchronize Centro via USB in Windows 7

Hi, I just installed Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit (clean install). I had already used Vista and could synchronize perfectly. My sync freezes 2 or 12. The strange thing is that there are two instances of 'Agenda' listed in the hotsync window. Also two each "address book, 'To Do List' and 'Notepad'.

I installed Palm Desktop 6.2 I just downloaded on Palm.com. After you run into trouble, I followed some elements troubleshooting on the Palm support site. I uninstalled Palm Desktop and reinstalled, but got the same thing.

I think the problem is the reader. When I look in Device Manager, I get a little gray question mark next to the device. Not sure if that's a problem. I tried to reinstall the driver by clicking 'Update Driver' in Device Manager and pointing to this filepath: C:\Program Files\Palm\USB_Driver. He said in very well installed, but then I always get this gel when you try to synchronize.

Help!

Fixed an issue with the help of tech in this thread.

It turns out it was a corrupted date book entry and had nothing to do with Windows 7.

  • DCR-TRV260 NTSC via USB for Windows XP Home edition home

    Hello!

I'm trying to help a friend to connect its DCR-TRV260 NTSC to his computer HP Vectra VL420 (Yes, a very old machine).
The computer is HP P/n: PS660AV #246, with a processor Pentium 4 (Willamette) of 478mPGA socket @1. 70 GHz, installed on a HP
card system with an Intel i845 NB A05 and and Intel 82801 SB, the latter is, I suspect, the culprit.
We lack a clean new install of Windows XP Edition family with Service Pack 3, with 384 MB of PC133 SDRAM.
I know it's something Museum but hey, it works and it can not even buy a more recent machine.

The problem: I can't do the camera be considered a via USB removable storage device, in order to download still images on the computer, he recorded on tape, not a stick of memory, there no card IEEE1394 and no budget to buy a.
I installed the software included in his CD that comes with the camera, and I can work
streaming USB tool and watch motion pictures and still images through it, but I can not D/L to the computer.
I removed all the foregoing, as well as all instances of the camera Device Manager, then set up PMB56_installer1108a, to my dismay, because he wants to only use IEEE1394 (I understand why, but it should offer the USB option).

How we manage to always download these images, recorded on tape, on his computer?
I suspect the Intel 82801 SB is at fault, because even if it does not detect the camera and every time I plug it, Device Manager
updated to reflect the three instances related to the camera, the Sony imaging device, digital video USB Composite and Audio USB
Device, it cannot be seen as a removable storage device.

Of course, I read the manual for the camera and the computer application s/w, but I can't find anything related, none of the people
two elements indicate how do what my friend waiting!

I read all the messages mentioning USB as a search term, and the question is: is WXP just incapable of such a feat?

    Help, please.

    Hello!
After all this time, I discovered the answer to watch me on page 25 of the PDF manual camera operations.
They are not always photos within the meaning of the word "cybershot", they are
still images recorded with sound, then it's just a frozen video image recording with
    seven seconds of audio.

Now we have captured it with Windows Movie Maker and export it somehow to jpg still images.

    Thanks anyway!

  • Satellite A100 - material cannot be found via USB

    Hello all,.

First I want to apologize for my bad English following (I am from the Germany).

I have my laptop for about two years. All my USB hardware worked.
But about a week ago, I tried to save data on my USB but my laptop could not match it.

There was just the message: "no known material. Installation was not correct. »
The effect is: I see the USB in the Solution Explorer, but when I open the file there is no datas (but the USB was not data always full).

Now I can not plug anything into the USB socket.
No USB, no camera box, no external hard drive.

There is no difference between these things, windows still shows the same message of failure...

Can someone help me please? I think there must be a pilot unit failure, but why he is one day to the next?
Thank you for your help (and willingness to try to understand my English ;)).

First of all, I must say that your English is not bad!

Now a few words about your question.
    Try this;
    -Disconnect all USB devices
    -go to the Device Manager
    -remove all USB ports, controllers
    -restart the laptop

After restarting again the windows should recognize the new hardware and needs to be reinstalled all USB ports.
Then check again if you use USB devices.

  • Connect a printer HP Laserjet 4 parallel via USB using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit - HELP!

I have a new Dell PC (Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit) that does not have a parallel port to connect an old HP Laserjet 4 printer.  I bought a USB to parallel to connect the PC to the printer.  When turn on/off the printer, W7 installed an IEEE-1284 controller that appears in the unspecified list of devices in the control panel.  I "Has added a new printer", select "USB001 virtual printer USB port", then choose the correct printer driver (after "Windows Update" get a longer list).  When you try to print a test page, the 'ready' light on the printer starts to print, but nothing else happens.

After experimenting with different settings, I was able to get a page to print that says "* s1M.  I don't know how it happened or what it means.  This suggests that the PC is 'talk' to the printer.  However, I was unable to reproduce this.

HP support was able to help me, and I've been searching for an answer.  Someone at - it suggestions?  I wouldn't give up using a "workhorse" reliable printer for years. "

You do not have a parallel port on the machine.  Whatever it is sent to the parallel port device should fail on writing.   Change the port to the port of USB00n, created when you plugged the cable.  You will see the port listed in the list of ports.  This will usually USB001 when you have not all printers attached otherUSB. • Cannot use the Exteranl USB with Windows 7 floppy drive

I have a removable disk drive 3.5 inch USB connected to my computer running Windows 7.  When I plugged it there was the usual beep that had plugged in an external drive and only came a message that the drivers were installed correctly and the drive is ready for use.  However:

    a. the player is not visible in Explorer, but appears in the Disk Manager and control panel (material & sound-devices and printers).  It "works" according to Disk Manager.

    b. when I insert a floppy disk, nothing does not appear in the Explorer

    c. I tried without success drive letter assignment (miss me something here, I think and need for a better prescription to follow)

I saw a post elsewhere on the "group policy objectives" but got lost in the talk of technology and could not get something resembling the description in the post.

Suggestions, please, which will help to get the job of the thing.

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

With the description, I understand that you can not use the floppy drive external USB on your Windows 7 computer.

I would be grateful if you could help me with more information to better understand the problem and a solution:

    1. have you tried another USB port using the USB floppy? If this isn't the case, I suggest you try to use it in another port.

2 have you tried to use the USB port on a different computer/machine? If not, try to use it in another computer.

This problem can occur because of incorrect settings. In order to solve the problem, I would suggest trying the following methods and check if this is useful:

Method 1 : Troubleshooting hardware and peripheral

Integrated the hardware and devices troubleshooter can automatically detect and fix most of the incorrect settings and errors that could cause problems with the equipment. I suggest you run the troubleshooter to check if there is no problem with the graphics card. See albums as follows:

    1. open Control Panel

    2. click Troubleshooting and select the option to display all on the left pane.

    3. click Troubleshooting of hardware and devices and follow the prompts.

Try Method 2, if the problem persists

Method 2 : Install the drivers in Compatibility Mode

I suggest that you try to download the drivers from floppy drive designed for Windows XP or Vista and then install it in compatibility mode.

  • Try to install Windows 7 via USB, El Capitan, Macbook Pro 2011 but get this error "No. BOOTABLE DEVICE - INSERT BOOT DISK AND press ANY KEY ' when bootcamp restart my macbook to begin the installation. Any ideas?

I am trying to install Windows 7 via USB, (El Capitan, Macbook Pro - early 2011), but this mistake "No. BOOTABLE DEVICE - INSERT BOOT DISK AND press ANY KEY ' when bootcamp restart my macbook to begin the installation. Any ideas?

You cannot use a USB on Mac 2011 Installer. Please burn the ISO on a physical DVD Windows (a DVD - R Carbon SL on the rate of burning slower is better) and use it to install Windows. The file Info.plist changes only allowing the creation of USB, but does not fully support a USB Installation.

  • Windows 7 will not recognize or sync Pocket PC which is connected via usb

    Hello

I am trying to sync my Pocket PC data (Pal my ASUS a686) on my computer (Windows 7 Enterprise). I think that if you had Windows XP, we would use Active Sync. However, it's windows 7, so I think that I use Windows Mobile Device Center. In fact, I used the center of the device before, but it has been a week to try to download the data again and it no longer works. He is very picky. But we need our data and cannot wait for the day that he decided to download.
So I uninstalled the center of the device (the tip of a chat room) and now I can not re - load it. However, before I even uninstalled, the problem returning to the top, it was my computer does not recognize the device connected via usb.
Code 43 continues to come does not recognize this device. And yet it is plugged. I keep trying to restart, plug the unit in different orders, send good energy, etc.
I did a soft reboot of the pocket pc the last time, but that makes you lose all data on the pocket pc and we cannot lose this data. Finally, it is for the eco-counter software. When it worked, I hit the sync button and the data were downloaded. Now... He says just connect me please my pocket pc when it is connected. Why!
    Thank you
    Cole

On the Pocket PC, try going to "start |" Settings | Connections | USB to PC"and unchecking the checkbox"Enable advanced network functionality. "
