  I installed the software for mac Pocket mac and it can't even connect to my blackberry via USB.

  A bad sign that mac users get when installing software is when it requires running an account of Directors as the software was not properly designed to run on Mac.   For Blackberry Desktop Manager is almost officially released. It works very well. I can tell because I have a beta version of leakage. Its sweet! If you can't wait im sure a quick search, you have the beta version of leakage...

  To add to the above, you will need to override the methods "automatic" which will use the foregoing. Left alone, the "automatic" methods will offer only you OS packages sanctioned by the carrier for which your BB was built (under the VendorID on the device). But, you are not limited only to those... the easiest is, on a PC (you can not do on MAC):

  1) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

  (2) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

  (3) download and install to your PC, the BB OS package you want:

  • You need to dig through this portal to find carriers that support your model but also to compare their different OS packages that are available.

  (4) If this OS package comes from one carrier other carrier for which your BB was built, then remove, on your PC, all copies of the SELLER. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

  • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
  • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

  (5) run the Desktop software and connect your BB... the software should offer the operating system package you have installed on your PC. If, during the process, your BB votre BB a '507' error, simply unplug the power cord of the BB USB and reinsert it. do nothing else... This should allow the installation to continue.

  Do not forget to save.

  Note that if you had to make a special "tricks" for your BB to function initially get on your carrier (for example, your BB model no is not natively supported by your carrier system), then this process will wipe those out, and you have to make them once again after it's over. Before starting, so 100% certain that you know what these "things" have been and are able to do it again.

  I'm having a very disappointing time with my new Blackberry 9700 I could really use help with it please.

  Following the installation wizard, I arrived to the e-mail configuration. The ONLY option is to enter an address associated with an Enterprise Server. There is no option to choose my Gmail account.

  After this step, I was hoping to find an alternative to get where I needed to be, but does not (at least none that I could find). Then I tried to upgrade my device software, which I did. So I am now under v5.0.0.405. Still no icon for the configuration of email in the settings window.

  I even tried to install Google Sync, but there is no hanging at "first login".

  I was really hoping it would be a lot easier than what I've heard great things about BB. I come from a Windows Mobile, so eager to get this resolved.

• Cannot sync with Sony Bridge for Mac iPhoto albums

  When I connect the Sony Xperia Z3 compact Mac, Sony for Mac. bridge arises. I select the option explore iPhoto. At first nothing shows up (the developers of Sony, it would be nice to show at least a cone of propeller or progress bar), but after a while the events appear. However all other categories of picture (faces, albums, images or last import) will appear.

  Since then, I prefer to organize photos by albums rather than the events that I can't sync anything, as I have no options to check. I use Sony Bridge for Mac 3.8.3 (3831) and iPhoto 9.5.3 (902.17). Does anyone knows how to fix this?

  Huh, so it actually works, it's just very slow. After leaving the bridge app open for awhile finally albums appeared. Review of photo albums about 3000 is terribly slow, but works. Unfortunately several separate albums are copied directly to the folder images not organized in subdirectories, then this function is not very helpful at all.

• BlackBerry Smartphones get photo off Blackberry for Mac files

  How can I transfer files from photo of my Blackberry Pearl memory to the memory card?  Settings changed without my noticing it and unfortunately the files stored in the device.  I don't have a messaging service and wonder if there are methods to get the pictures.  I have a Mac with Leopard and it does not appear there is a way to use the search function to get to anything on the Blackberry. And Pocketsynch do not synchronize all multimedia files.

  You need to go to your media icon,... .once here, press your menu button and select Explorer.  You will see and option to explore the device memory or Media Card.  Go to the memory of the device and navigate to your pictures folder.  Once you select a photo, press the Menu key, then select move.  Then you get and the option to switch to the media (file photo) card.

  You can also use your Media Manager which is a feat that is provided by the Office Manager.  This will allow you to move between the device and the memory card support pix multiple files at once...

  There is virtually no diagnosis of those - they are the equivalent of random errors in Windows for which trace the root cause is futile. Basically, here's the last out in the programming code - some event occurred for which there is no event handler in the code. The patch is an update of the code that handles the event... but, again, what is the event is almost impossible. So, there are a few things to try:

  Sometimes, the code simply is damaged and needs to be updated - just like a reboot:

  • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  If it doesn't boot properly, then you need to try Safe Mode:

  The toughest possible causes are an app behave badly. Fortunately, the error itself pointing you the problem... Twitter. I recommend that remove you / reinstall to see if that helps.

  The other method is to remove the apps one at a time, wait a while between the two (I usually recommend a week), until the problem stops... revealing the offending application. Yet another method is to recharge the BB OS itself, leaving little time between the addition of other applications on the BB in order to be able to determine exactly what is the cause.

  It's frustrating.

  Recently had to upgrade to 2013 Outlook with Exchange Server and now can't sync my Bold 9900 with Desktop software. I managed to get e-mail through IMAP, but these are not binding although the link of my previous OWA (no status of reading or items removed and need to add a rule to forward messages sent from the device to my Outlook 2013)

  I understand that Blackberry does not yet support Outlook 2013. It's been a while since Outlook 2013 was released in beta version and then RTM and no news at all on the issue of Blackberry.

  Has anyone heard if Blackberry is going to do something about that soon?

  Frankly, I can't get to consider switching to something that will connect - Apple devices and Android seems to work. I always heard about problems with synchronization on BB10 devices that may have been recently solved.

  Hello. I am afraid that I did not understand all options regarding the synchronization of my 8310 with Vista calendar still; However, I had success sync my Blackberry with Contacts in Windows Vista, the other day.  After you load the Blackberry Desktop Software, go and click on synchronize, and then click the Configuration tab.  On this tab, click on the button "configure Synch... ».  This brings you to a screen that allows you to choose which office program you want to use to synchronize your info.  Select address book and then click on the "Settings" button... ».  Select Microsoft Outlook Express and click on "next >".  Select what kind of synchronization that you want to perform (if you want a clock 2 channels or just for the synchronization from your phone to the computer or the computer to the phone) and click on "next >", and then finish.  Go out and return to the Configuration tab, click the Sync tab and tap sync now.  Even if you have selected Microsoft Outlook Express for synchronization, to synchronize automatically with Windows Contacts for Vista.  (Or at least mine did).  I hope this helps!

• Text memo with Smartphones blackBerry for PC

  I don't have a plan of service that allows you to send or browsing the web. So my question is, while my BB is connected to my PC through USB, I can get the text of a note on the BB and in my PC so I can read it using software (such as Microsoft WordPad or Microsoft Works) desktop PC?

  I thought that I could set up the synchronization to do, but my only options were ASCII Import/Export and Yahoo. While I have a Yahoo account, I don't know how my BB memos would show up there (in line? in a Yahoo desktop application?). And I don't know where the ASCII Import/Export would end up on my PC too.

  Long ago, I had a Palm and their desktop sync software so that you grab memos on your PC or Mac, edit them and then send them to your Palm. I suppose that BlackBerry is not comparable.

  Any suggestions would be welcome!

  Has worked... Finally. When I went through the process, and the dialog box asked me to identify a 'database', I created a memos.txt file. Next time, I have connected my BB and ran from Desktop Manager, it sync would automatically and filled the .txt file I had created earlier. All right. Thank you!

  I have used a Palm phone and thinking about moving to a Blackberry.  When I sync w / my Palm I receive all - mail, contacts, tasks, notes, outlook - calendar.  Not yet heard definitely that all will transfer w / a blackberry without an intermediate step (ie.: google or?).  All the answers?
