  It was so easy in Excel. Until the reference computer broke down.

  Whatever the real explanation, the standard advice is "the tool that will do the job." If "the job" requires referencing values in a separate document, the numbers (alone and without the help of AppleScript) are not the best tool for this job.

  Check on the screen of the iPod settings in iTunes...  Select iPod in iTunes (click on his horizontal bar device button to display the screen of the iPod settings.  The side left (in the sidebar), under settings, you see Nike + iPod?  If you do, click it.  Do you see a framework for initiating sends it data Nike +?  Mine is already set up (with my 5th generation iPod nano), so I don't know what it looked like before.

  Is there a way to refer to external data. IE I want Google or Yahoo finance for actions of scrap? Ideally, I want it to be the current price. I know that I can do this with GoogleFinance or Webdata in Excel, but I don't want to use any of them. I also want to avoid a 'cut' n Paste ' situation as well.

  Is this possible or should I wait too many numbers?

  I tried using the former Office Director to synchronize my organizing data which worked fine and synced my microsoft outlook email, calendar and contacts from my phone very well. Now, it will not synchronize the two. It also gives me an unknown error.

  Please advice, I have to get my data from Organizer synchronized again.

  Have you installed on your PC, the new device OS package? And, if so, did you also remove any prior OS package PC?

  Otherwise, a clean startover might be in order:

  I suggest the following steps (reboot insert a lot of restarting your PC... not only restarts, but at full power down). In addition, it is recommended that you are connected to the PC on an account with full administrator rights. In addition, under Vista/Win7, use the option "Run As Administrator" for everything.

• SDDM 4.0 - synchronize the data dictionary can not detect existing CF

  I started a data model implemented in version 3 of SDDM somewhere, then had to ask for about 9 months and pick it back up.  When I picked up back, 4.0 RC3 shone, so I used to work on the old model.  Some problems have emerged, and one that is currently more frustrating is when I use the "Sync data dictionary" feature to create the DDL to change the physical table based on changes to the model that I made.

  I used to be able to just do a right-click on the table, choose Synchronize the data dictionary, and then only the changes I made would be generated.  Now, however, the function Compare seems to not be able to detect certain properties of the physical implementation table he is comparing it to.  For example, there is a table with FK 3 and compare it detects that one of them, then it attempts to create them from scratch.  Of course fails because there are actually the CF.  I tried not to drop and re-create the keys in the comics because I don't want to go to this effort for each table.

  I can post screenshots if you illustrate the problem like this.  Does anyone have advice?  It seems that there is a bug in the software.  Thank you.

  Thanks for reporting the problem. I logged a bug for this.

  The synchronization works without problem if all of the tables involved are included in the sync operation. The problem is caused by PK/UK constraints with system-generated names.

  You can call the synchronization on a selection of objects (one or more), on a subview or the entire model. You can use "Select neighbors" in order to obtain selected related objects or

  'Create subview with neighbors' available in the context menu for the table in the browser.

  Hi all, I hope that I ask this question in the correct forum. I'm assuming that it is a problem of script, but if not, I apologize. Anyway - wonder if this is possible and, if so, if someone could point me in the general direction of more information:

  My company occasionally asked to produce directories of employee containing information (photos, contact information, education information, etc.) on different segments of the population closes - for example, a directory can include all women of color, we can include everyone in the Los Angeles Office, etc.. I would like to find a way to 'model' it in InDesign so that the relevant info can circulate in the external data source document - for example, database SQL of the HR or perhaps a spreadsheet generated from this database. I know that we are currently able to do something similar by using Word, but the final product looks like crap.

  I don't know what that would be even called in InDesign, so any information will be greatly appreciated. I use the CS5 version. Thank you!

  I could do this by using the data merge feature. It is similar to the functionality of fusion and mail merge in word. There is a great video of how it works here: http://www.theindesigner.com/blog/episode-43-data-merge-video

  There are more complex ways using XML or the third party plug-ins, but I would try this method first.

  Im having a problem. I have two systems at present. One that was used by the client, it was a 12.0.4 which contained an error. We have improved the system as suggested by metalink to a 12.1.1 instance that became the second instance. But now I have an old doubtful 12.0.4 on which data has been entered and updated and a stable 12.1.1 who has no problem, but missing 3 weeks of data. What is the best way to update the 12.1.1 with the data, but at the same time to synchronize the data on the 12.0.4 for the 12.1.1 i.e. I keep the same ID, identities and so on for customers on the system?

  As far as I KNOW, there is no way to do this. You have no choice other than to upgrade your 12.0.4 instance.

• Cannot edit or import external data files in Excel

  Hello

  I use a monthly report in Excel that works fine in Windows but not Mac. It is a binary XLSB file that pulls in the 4 files external .txt from various places on the web to load the most recent data in the report. If I open the file in Windows, it asks if I want to allow data and when I click Yes, it downloads data from each txt file, does some calculations and is all ready. In the Mac it is said that it cannot find the files.

  So my first thought was to go to data > Connections and check the properties, mainly the url that it uses to pull in each file. However, in Excel for Mac (Office 365) 16 properties button is grayed out. This means also I can "save under" when comes a new month and change the URL to match the new month either. You can bring up a properties box, but it is very limited, with no option to change the url.

  I also tried in Excel 11, same problem. I do not want to Boot Camp and have to load Windows (and use up to 20 GB) just for a single file, but I need to use it. Any ideas?

  I use a high RT 8135.  I'm sampling of signals from analog pressure thermocouples to 20 ms and 10 ms.  I use the stream network to transfer the data from the SMU on my host.  I would like to be able to synchronize the timestamps of all data to the 1ms sampling note and record in a file.

  Search in the file my sampling data 10ms end timestamp does not match the timestamp of 20ms, missing data... I know you have empty queues to get the rest data but is possible to interpolate any data to adapt a unique timestamp?

  Hi aokada09,

  Looks like you are facing problems resulting from parallel execution two loops you have.  There is nothing necessarily bind the two loops together, so that each of them an iteration at the rates you specified, but are allowed to start each software (sort of random) dictates that they start.

  To get a solid synchronization, share a sample between the two measures clock, but run the sample clock at 100 Hz for 50 Hz for thermocouple measurement and pressure measurement.  You should be able to use shared inside the SMU chassis backplane clock.  This will be as close as possible to synchronize without using a card of timing.  The only real source of delay/tilt between readings at this point is the physical distance that must travel the clock signal. This will not lead to steep, but there will certainly be some (probably on the scale of the high-nanoseconds or microseconds bass).  This article gives more information about the synchronization and the sample clock:

  In the New/Select database connection I have defined JDBC tab as follows:

  to connect to a Sybase SQL Anywhere database. This works as expected.

  In my original design, I have a few attributes/columns defined on the varchar data type (5000). Now, when I do not synchronize the dictionary of data (a table, for example), I get a difference on property > Data Type (in the dialog box compare models), although in my column a varchar data base (5000) data type. This works perfectly for varchar (255) and below.

  What could cause this behavior?

  It seems that Import or synchronize using JDBC no matter the size of the column if it is greater than 4000.
