Can I remove C:\sysprep-sysprep from Windows Vista Home Premium?
Recently, I noticed that whenever my anti-malware comes to sweep sysprep - C:\sysprep, the process will be interrupted. The treated elements & elapsed time will continue to increase even if the blue bar is moving. The overall progress does not move. As a first step, I have observed that he could stop for hours. . Also, the second attempt was not successful even after the uninstallation of the anti-malware and re - install via the website. I had to close the application without completing all the way.
Since he gives to the scanning process, I would like to delete this file sysprep from my laptop. My laptop will cause no problem if this file? As far as I know, sysprep is intended for administrators, not end users.
If this file can be deleted from my laptop, please advise on the steps of removing. Thank you.Hello

Windows 7 OEM never active key but can't find discs, I can sell it?
I have a spare Windows 7 OEM key, I bought several years for construction of the computer, but ended up never activate. I kept it in a journal of all keys that, over time, I bought, but I don't have the disks. MS has retained this page to download Windows 7 when you plug the key, I have confirmed here that the key is always good. I have an old SSD to sell with it, too. So it is possible to sell safe key with the SSD because it has never been activated?
Yes, you can, as long as this is not enabled.

Upgraded from Windows XP to Windows 7 and can't read the activation code
I installed PC from Windows XP to Windows 7 my sister with the software, that I bought at Best Buy. The product key for activation is very small and many of the numbers/characters may be different than what I read as. I tried several variants without success. Automatic activation work well? I am not at my sister this last week and won't leave his PC in limbo. What should I do? Thanks for any help!

M30X MultiDrive won't burn a DVD from Windows Movie Maker
Hello
My MultiDrive M30x will not burn the DVD from Windows Movie Maker and other applications.
I also had problems with burning CDs (unbranded) of Windows XP, built in utility.
The multidrive has problems with cheaper brand discs?
Just to note,
The laptop was to support guys three times until various issues.
(1) the hard drive failed.
(2) the multidrive has failed.
(3) the motherboard replaced, due to power outages, it would not charge the battery, or recognize that the AC adapter is plugged.Note: The hard drive, not the fan made the most noise in mine!
Thank you
Hello
As far as I know (i.e. pre-installed burning software Save now, drag-and - drop) disabled the option of Windows XP burning. In this case if you want to use the Movie Maker or Windows media player burning option, you need to activate this possibility.
Please, go to the properties of the drivers (right click). Please select the recording tab. CD recording option on this drive must be marked.
I use the software Nero burning and in my opinion he of one of the best burning programs. In addition, you should try different manufacturers CD/DVD because some CD and DVD is not compatible with some readers. Check the TDK CD and DVD. I never had no problem with these media.Best regards

Can I downgrade from Windows 7 Starter to Windows XP Professional
QUESTIONS: 1) can I demote a machine Win7 Starter purchased through package of retail full license, never installed, XP Pro OS? Assume that both are 32-bit. I was thinking of buying one of these netbooks cheap in Walmart stores that are Windows 7 upgrade option to Windows 8 (which I do not wish to use), and experiment. If Win7 is proving to be as disastrous as I wait, I want to install a new copy of the new detail of full XP Pro including Service Pack 3 (which has never been installed on any computer), to downgrade from Windows 7. I've never used in triplicate. The machine is Acer Aspire One with Windows 7 Starter edition, on sale at Walmart for only $228. They have other editions of Windows, I could buy instead, if the Starter Edition is not eligible for a downgrade.2) do you anticipate problems of license? Do not talk about compatibility, as that varies depending on the machine. It's just that the installation with MS products is always also annoying complicated and always associated with a licensing problem. I can't guess at what these problems are, they are never what I expect. Where the question.Backstory: I am wary of XP Professional updating to Windows 7, due to the many people experience incompatibilities. I ran the Win7 Upgrade Advisor, and he has not yet detected what third-party software was running on my machine in his analysis, other than common programs of MS and stuff from the internet. So I have ZERO faith it will be compatible with my XP software current and material, so 32-bit (which I use now), or 64-bit (which one of my machines can take in charge, but instead, 32-bit XP Prof OS is installed and running). It cost me about $100K of my time to switch to XP, in 2005; I just went through two own XP installed on two of my other machines. Recovery was not possible. Cost me three months of my life, these facilities. Wouldn't do it again. It is unnecessarily complex. So I have to check the effectiveness of Win7. And if she is not enough justify using, as I hope - I have a lot of detail that new (well, once again) never used XP Professional OS bought in a store, that I can use to downgrade. ("not OEM, not upgrade or academic, etc. so the full XP license is valid for each packet.) I understand very well that support ends in April 2014 and don't care if it stops. What I care about is running my business that threatens to Win7, because it changes the interface and eliminates a bunch of features that have been very productive in XP Pro.Of course, my impressions have not been tested on a live installation. ERGO this post. For me, it's a $100,000 decision, because it is the cost of my time if I deploy Win7. Sorry for ranting, but I need to explain the reasons for downgrading in context. Thank you for your time!I guess I do not understand you. If you have a version of Xp retail packaging, you can install it on any computer you want. Nothing MS or anyone else can say about it.
As others have noted you might encounter a driver for some of your hardware problem is not not compatible wth Xp. The only way to know for sure, or I should say the best way, is to install Xp and discover.
If it was me I would make sure that the computer has a restore disk or a partition to reinstall Win 7 if Xp didn't work. If none of those who were present I would clone the drive hard while Win 7 was still about this. Better safe than sorry.
Finally, I would make sure that I got a usb Ethernet card so that you could make sure you have the ability to connect when the net card driver was not installed with Xp...

I changed the OS on my laptop Toshiba from Windows 7 to Windows XP Home Edition. Everything seems to work fine, except that there is no sound. Checked PC Device Manager and noticed that I need to download & install a high definition Buss Audio Audio driver and a video controller (VGA Compatible).
You need visit Toshiba support and download the drivers that you need for Windows XP for your laptop model specific. It is the responsibility of the manufacturer of the system (or manufacturer) to write drivers for their products for different operating systems - not Microsoft.
Toshiba technical support

I hope this helps.
