To answer your question about the system administrator vs system administration:
The main difference is that system administrator is the base form, while the administration of the system is based on (Self Service) web page.
System administrator is original, which provides the basic features.
With the wire of time web pages have been added and for this reason, a new responsibility (System administration) was created and functions that are considered essential for Self Service was provided.
It took me almost 5 minutes to find this message of mine. In the old MOS, there was a column that pointed to "my recent posts... I can't find anything similar here on the forums, so had to trawl through the entire general Discussions ENS forum until I found my own entry... anyone know how to find your own posts on this site?

How can I change the system on my imac OSX 10.11.4 Administrator?
It's on a new iMac (2016). I SHOULD be the system administrator. Firefox won't let me update because it says I don't have permission and need to contact my system administrator. Ugh.
This happens with all apps or just Firefox? If it's just FF, and then in the Finder choose FF and right-click to get the information. In the sharing and permissions permissions are checked. Open the triangle. The permissions should be:
Me > reading and writing
Admin > read-only
all read-only.
Click the lock and authenticate you to change

How to reset the password for the system administrator for Time Capsule?
I need to do a system restore to 2008 MacBook my wife of my 2014 Time Capsule, and I'm stuck at the system administrator password prompt. It does not accept the password to base such as revealed by the Airport utility station > base station > show passwords on my MBP, which is able to save and enter Time Machine, even if the TC is configured to use individual accounts rather than a single disk password. I'm nervous about any base station reset option in case I spoil my backup. How can I me?
Although TC is configured to use individual accounts rather than a single disk password
You must use the right of the user and the password in this case. NOT the password from the drive.
I'm nervous about any base station reset option in case I spoil my backup. How can I me?
Reset complete... It will not damage the backups somehow... It simply returns to the default values.
Let me recommend to you if you want to continue using the TC in this way... (useless IMHO). Please do an export of the configuration before factory reset you.
With the help of user and passwords in the TC is near useless. It only affects the side of the router...
If you need more security using encrypted backups... but the reality is... the security more you add less useful the backup is likely to be. As you have now discovered... When you need it... you need as clear and clear as possible.

In the System Recovery Options administrator password?
Hello dear users of Toshiba.
I'm willing to use the "Toshiba Recovery Wizard" in the "System Recovery Options" (after pressing F8 when the computer starts) but when I select Administrator as a user, he invites me for a password.
I double checked my Vista user accounts and the administrator (me) is certainly not no matter what password that are bound to him.
My problem is that I can't use recovery tool if I don't log in as an administrator...Can someone please help? Y at - it factory default password?
Thanks to you all!
Hello
To be honest, your announcement confused me a bit especially the part where you wrote: but when I select Administrator as a user. I don't understand what you mean with it.
But first some basic information:Can you imagine you use Toshiba notebook with the settings and someone will make a joke and use the F8 option and reinstall Vista. All of your settings, data and pre-installed software will be gone. Or can someone just use cell phones stolen to get around Vista secure password for laptop and do clean install of Vista using F8 option.
To avoid this Toshiba has this security feature and each try to reload Vista password OS will be refused. So if you use the password to log in to Vista the same password will be required before the installation of recovery begins. By default, there is no password and the name of the administrator account will be shown when you start the recovery procedure. When you enter the correct password, the installation will continue.
So much about the theory. I don't know how you do and which account you use, but the fact is, without administration account name and correct password, you won't be able to install Vista using this HARD drive recovery option.

How to operate the system Exec (Batch file) as an administrator
Hello
I have a batch file that I need to run. But it should work with administrator access.
How can I run a command line by using the Exec.vi system as an administrator?
I was able to "solve" this problem with a work around.
I installed the 64 bit version of LabVIEW that calls the appropriate 64-bit shell to execute the TFTP call.
I do not understand the lack of functionality in the 32-bit version and the 64-bit version seems to work.

How to raise the exec.vi system administrator on Win7
Hi guys
I build an installer to our application and want to inject the driver OR not required for the program interface with our material in Win7... I'll use pnputil.exe to add and install our signed driver... But pnputil will work only if cmd prompt is amounted to administrator (being administrator is not enough by using cmd)... This is easily done in the environment of win7 (ctrl + shift + enter to the search bar after typing cmd) but y at - it a command that works on win7 I could call to enable this rise happen without user interaction? I wanted very much as for create a post installer that calls the installer of NOR raise the program, and then call the function pnputil since the exec.vi system, which leaves the system with the installed driver and a plug ' gaming experience to the user.
Any good suggestions?
Best regards

LV8.6.1 - win7 / XP
If you use the option "run command line after installing" Installer, I think that it runs the command line with the same rights that the installer had, that rights should be admin high you're looking for.
It worked for me in the past to win7.
