System Exec.vi displays strange errors

Hello

I would like to launch an application of part 3 and let him reduced to a minimum.

I could easily run through the cmd "manually" using its directory and run it.

Then I tried to use a batch (RunCMWrun.bat) file to the root of C, and it can also launch manually.

I tried just using the example of "Execution at the command line" without success.

Any help is welcome

Try cmd /c fichierbatch.bat

    Hello

I just bought the Satellite T130-02F and after choosing 32-bit operating system, I had the power to recharge the battery and then started to get 'to display driver errors"where the screen black flash and then flash back on. I checked Device Manager and Driver Details, the reader is up to date and as far as I can see is the suitable driver. I searched websites to see if there are other drivers out there ar, but its update.

I have nothing more have not installed on the computer again and find that I get the error more regularly on the farm rather than power, that concerns me. The computer is less than 24 hours old.

In your case I would try to reinstall the display driver. You can find the latest version on the Toshiba site:

After that, make sure that the latest version of the BIOS is installed. You can download the Toshiba site too.

  • Problem: Using the command 'msg' with 'system Exec.vi.

I try to write to the LabView code that takes advantage of the 'Exec.vi System '. For the moment, I have tried to use it to ping machines, return the command ipconfig and run through the code example that provides NEITHER.

I would use the "msg" command used on Windows operating systems to send a message to several machines on our network at a time. Warning that we're about to update a program and that they should disconnect, things like that.

I tried to use the command 'msg' LabView maintains return errors. I also wrote a quick command as follows file:

    @echo we
    CD c:\Windows\System32\
    Msg.exe /server:localhost * test

When I run the batch of windows, it runs. When I launch from LabView (using the Exec.vi system), it fails.

    Potential quirks:

I discovered in a different place under a machine to receive these messages they need to have a registry entry:

"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server" and have a DWord value called "AllowRemoteRPC' = 1.

Note that "/ Server: localhost" might be "/ server: anycomputer" and the "*" is used as a wildcard character that sends a message to anyone who is connected to this computer. Also note that the 'test' is the message to send.

Any ideas why I'm having a problem?

TL; Dr.: "System Exec.vi" does not have the command "msg". Why is this?

  • Dialog control stamp kills system Exec.vi!

    Hello!

I have just a really strange behavior in my application. I managed to narrow it down to a much smaller VI, please don't look at the framework, but the real problem, this test of the vi MAIN looks like this because it's a skeleton of an application more great (I had to remove a lot of relevant and confidential parts).

So. I have a relay for monitoring USB from a 3rd party company that I use in my application via a supplied EXE perfectly. I call this exe in LabVIEW using the Exec.vi system and it works perfectly and watchdog functions as it should. However, I see a strange bug (?): if I run a browser control Time stamp dialog window, it "suspends" somehow the Exec.vi system. If my watchdog command stops setting, open relay, problem!

I compressed my test application, and I can reproduce this same problem, although I have just called a BREAK to gain control of command line. Note that, in my real application, the control of time stamp is in another, said dynamically (call and forget the method) VI, but I get the same bug!

    Steps to reproduce the bug:

    1. launch my app
    2. observe that the iteration of the loop at the bottom
    3. Click browser control time to bring up the dialog window.
    4. You can see the background loop iteration has stopped (iterations of the loop DAQ)
    5. If you close the dialog box, the background loop continues execution

    What the heck is this?

How this is possible, why there is "interference" between a completely separate control and a loop of low system Exec.vi?

    Thanks for any suggestions!

I hide in my real application, as a solution, just the element browser control time stamp...

LabVIEW is a software component called root loop which is used by different parts of the LV. opening dialogue blocks the loop of the root, which is probably what is blocking the DLL called inside the exec system VI. Probably, you will be able to do as opening a menu and leaving open.

You can do a search for the term to learn more on this subject, but I don't think it's all you can really do about it.

If you have no XP bootable media (or aren't sure you have) create a bootable XP Recovery CD of Console and do not forget.

This is not the same as recovery disks that may have come to a store to purchase the system.

You can make a bootable Recovery Console CD by downloading an ISO file and burn it to a CD.

The ISO bootable image file you need to download is called:

    xp_rec_con. ISO

    Download the ISO from here:

    http://www.mediafire.com/?ueyyzfymmig

Use a new CD and this simple and free program to burn your ISO file and create your bootable CD:

    http://www.ImgBurn.com/

Here are some instructions for ImgBurn:

    http://Forum.ImgBurn.com/index.php?showtopic=61

It would be a good idea to test your bootable CD on a computer running.

You may need to adjust the computer BIOS settings to use the CD-ROM drive as the first device to boot instead of the hard drive.  These adjustments are made before Windows tries to load.  If you miss it, you will need to restart the system again.

When you start on the CD, follow the instructions:

Press any key to boot from CD...

    Installing Windows... going to pronounce.

Press 'R' to enter the Recovery Console.

Select the installation that you want to access (usually 1: C:\WINDOWS)

You may be asked to enter the password (usually empty).

You should be in the folder C:\WINDOWS.  It's the same as the

C:\Windows folder that you see in Solution Explorer.

The Recovery Console allows base as file commands: copy, rename, replace, delete, chkdsk, fixboot, fixmbr, cd, etc.

For a list of the commands in the Recovery Console, type help at the prompt of commands or read on here XP Recovery Console:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/proddocs/en-us/recovery_console_cmds.mspx?mfr=true

A good idea before you start things must first verify the integrity of your file system by using the chkdsk command.

In the command prompt window, run the chkdsk command on the drive where Windows is installed to try to fix any problems on the afflicted player.

Running chkdsk is fine, even if he finds no problem.  It won't hurt anything to run it.

Assuming your boot drive is C, run the following command:

    CHKDSK C: /r

Let chkdsk finish to correct the problems, he could find.

It may take a long time for chkdsk complete or they seem to be "stuck".  Be patient.  If the HARD drive led blinks always, chkdsk is something.  Keep an eye on the amount of the percentage to be sure that it is still making progress.  It may even seem to go back sometime.

You must run chkdsk/r again until it finds no error to correct.

Remove the CD, and then type "exit" to exit the RC and restart the computer.

You have not to set the BIOS to boot the disk HARD since the CD won't be.

    Thanks for a detailed response.

First of all, I suggest you create a new (empty) project and import your existing of the project leader (.prproj) using the media browser.

As you work with a large number of data, how are your configuration of disks?

This project is to use as much ram as I can give it. It is a hunger project. This could help boost errors. My system has 32 GB of ram, I allocated 6 GB for other programs / windows to use. I used to have only 4 GB allocated for windows but that was causing errors of memory that windows needed more runs while this project was open

I would say that allocate more memory (8-10 concerts IMO) windows to avoid bottlenecks because other processes are equally important.

Is usually a specific cause for the error messages I posted in the original post to protest or they are generic error messages?

    These errors are mostly generic.

    Thank you

What do I need to do?

    Thanks for your help.

You may need to modify the format.to file system support as Mac OS extended file system [logged]).

Or try to install root user account.

Let me know if you need steps.

However, it is best to check with Apple Support once.

  • Strange error with RHCL RH10 and RH11 command-line compilation

    Hello once again, RoboHelp gurus!

I feel a strange error using the compilation process command-line rchl in RoboHelp 10 and 11 of RoboHelp.

Here is the command I use:

    CD "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe RoboHelp 10\RoboHTML.

    RhCl "C:\folder\project.xpj"-l "SSL_Name" o "c:\outputfolder" g "C:\log\folder\logfile.txt".

When I generate the log of the cmd file, I see an error "LILo: BIBCientInit could not initialize" twice in the window of cmd prompt while compiling is the treatment.  The cmd prompt window looks like this:

    C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe RoboHelp 10\RoboHTML > RhCl "C:\projectfolder\project.xpj"-l "SSL_Name" o "c:\outputfolder" g "C:\logfolder\logfile.txt" [press ENTER]

    LILo: Could not initialize BIBCientInit

    LILo: Could not initialize BIBCientInit

    C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe RoboHelp 10\RoboHTML >

The created FichierJournal.txt has no mention of ""LILo: BIBCientInit could not initialize "it contains."  Compiling builds without problem, as far as I can tell.

The same thing happens when I do not create the log during the cmd file and it errors record right "compensation output folder.  But, it seems to me that the output folder does not actually get disabled.

This allows the viewing of the compilation process line by line in the cmd prompt window.  When the compiler indicates "output Compensation folder...". ', the ' LILo: BIBCientInit failed to initialize "error message appears twice, and then the process continues.

    Here's the command:

    CD "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe RoboHelp 10\RoboHTML.

    RhCl 'C:\folder\project.xpj'-l 'SSL_Name' o 'c:\outputfolder '.

The cmd prompt window looks like this:

    C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe RoboHelp 10\RoboHTML > RhCl 'C:\projectfolder\project.xpj'-l 'SSL_Name' o 'c:\outputfolder"[press ENTER]

It's okay if it's a HTMLHelp or WebHelp output.  Any thoughts on what is this error and what is the cause?

I've been away from RoboHelp for about 9 months, but I'll be back on the same projects and the same version of RoboHelp 10 and the same compilation process.  The difference is that I have a new laptop.

Thank you very much in advance for your time!
