Hello

If they are separate programs, there are 3rd party utilities and even menus that could
be able to control the load and display order. You need to Google or Bing to find
These. Also check the HP forums.

  • REMOVE HP Digital Imaging Monitor Systray?

How can I REMOVE the HP Digital Imaging Monitor in my Systray?

I use the HP Deskject D1600.

I don't need my printer for print jobs that are very basic. I use my computer with remote desktop on a daily basis, and the HP Digital Imaging Monitor is really SLOWING things down for me. I came close the printer uninstall and return it to the store, but this seems to be a radical response. I used HPs for years, but I find this kind of INVASIVE application and evil. (I'm frankly shocked that HP would not be a simple way to get the systray, but I was not able to find it.)

For the record, I'm pretty comfortable around computers and IT Manager. I use WinXP as my OS on a Dell desktop with limited resources (I work for a festival not for profit with finances tight).

    Thank you very much!

I would recommend uninstalling the software and download and install the "base" driver from hp.com. I'm not familiar with your printer, but I did with another printer on an old PC XP and it seems to help performance significantly.  There may be a few missing features, but probably nothing you can not do otherwise.

  • Yellow ' dot/star' on my internet (signal strength bar) icon in the systray.

Original title: yellow dot on the wireless icon

I have a yellow dot, or more specifically a yellow star on my internet (signal strength bar) icon in the systray. The weird part is that I seem to have a complete internet service. What is this and how do I get rid of him. (If all you have is a solution, it is fine, also.) The weird part is that, if the computer has served for a long time, she disappears.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Communities.

According to the description of the problem, it seems that you try to know dhf systray.

It seems to be a virus, so I suggest you analyze your computer Microsoft Safety Scanner, it will help us to get rid of viruses, spyware and other malicious software.

The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

  • Remove the linksys icon in the systray

Is there a way to REMOVE the icon in the systray? I really want to see the little icon with a RED SLASH through it all the time.

Stop the task in the start-up file seemed to work ok, even if, as you said, LELA is not running and the follow-up not my pc. But if I do not need, no problem. I am reluctant to play with the registry, too, so there are not! I'll try and uninstall LELA, but since it does not appear on the CONTROL PANEL for add/remove, nor has an uninstall in its LINKSYS file in PROGRAM FILES, I am also reluctant to just delete it all. I'll survive and thank you BOTH for your input. APPRECIATED!

  • Missing notification icon for wireless keyboard and mouse in the systray area.

Missing notification icon for wireless keyboard and mouse in the systray area. Was working before the hard disk crash. Had to reload Windows Vista 64 bit OS. Have computer model gateway GT5678.

Chances are good the software to include these icons in notification tray cam pre-installed on the bridge.  If you still all original gateway software, try to see if something in the menu start / all programs of the gateway seems as it can contain controls for these settings and run the program to check and see if it does.  If none of the gateway software help (assuming that all this is still installed) and re-installing the drivers did not work and there is no controls at the keyboard or the mouse, so I know what else to think.  These icons are not available with Vista - they were installed by a third-party device or software driver.

I'm sorry that gateway could not help you.  They are those that you need to do to solve this problem, because it is something that they installed with the original computer which is not re-installled after you change hard drives.  They should know what software for it and power point yoo to a download site, or you send a disk with this software.  We can't really do anything else to help you.

    Good luck!

  • Icon SysTray Control or remove for KB3035583 10 update Windows unwanted in my face!

Microsoft, you are once more be _irresponsible_ dumping KB3035583 in my face this time by your systray icon that I have no control over.  Somebody needs to be spanked again.

    1. I'm not changing for Windows 10 on my Windows 7 sp1 turn until I have buy a new Surface Pro (not yet released).

    2. when someone forces me one-way with no 'choice' force back as hard as I can.  All you have to do is to modify KB3035583 to include the NORMAL means of removing UNWANTED files and icons when I don't WANT THEM!  Oh, and since you can not trust in Windows Update I have disabled the automatic download and installation option.

I have now two KB3035583 updates in my CACHE Windows Update folder have different file sizes:

-They say 687-786 KB and the other 664-763 KB

Do you know what you are doing?  Why no explanation?  Correct this issue if you can regain my confidence again and scold who makes this BAD decision.  Thank you.

  • systray icon missing after login

After connecting the VPN Client on Windows XP 5.0.00.0340 to a safety device, the VPN-Client window is reduced in the taskbar. Other laptop, I have a systray icon. How can I changed it to have too much in the systray?

Could you set logging 3 - high on the GUI.

Do you see something like that?

    Failed to load the icon.

There are several old bugs related to this:

    And here's one: CSCed84982

No padlock icon appears in the interface graph of the VPN Client user when the connection entry name has a space on the left. This seems to be a cosmetic problem. The VPN connection is established. The padlock icon in the systray.

Since you mentioned that other laptop see the icon, I suggest to reinstall the VPN Client or even upgrade to 5.0.04.0300.

  • Creative cloud forgets to reduce in the Systray every time you start

    Hello everone,

After the update of the creative cloud (2.1.1.110 of course) it seems that every time you start Windows the creative cloud window appears in the foreground. The option 'Minimize to Systray' is always chosen, and even if I mark it and minimize the CC, after a reboot the window is still there. It seems that CC forget, that it should not pop up and minimize itself the silently in the systray (like any other program smoothly). Are there any suggestions how to fix this? The registry tweaks?

Jens, try please upgrade to the latest version.

  • placing the hot Sync Manager on systray

Until recently, the logo hot sync will automatically appear in my systray. Recently, it has been necessary for me to open it manually. Is it possible to get it again in automatic mode? Installation shows 'always available', but it is not.

    Paulbear

I'm sorry to learn that your encounter this problem. To work around this problem is by going to the settings of the hotysnc Manager and selecting the option for the hotsync Manager manually start upward, applies the changes and then click ok. Then return to the hotsync Manager settings and change the settings back to start (or make them available always) then select apply changes, and then click ok.
