  I have a couple of this desire m4 I7 product: C2M81UA #ABA who have 1 TB blue WD scorpio Win 8 Preinstaled.

  It is up to date with the latest form of HP, Intel and Microsoft updates. Including fast storage to intel.

  Recovery operating system, applications and drivers DVD set has been created using HP recovery utility.

  After that, HD has been replaced with SSD Intel 520 Series 180 GB.

  Issue.

  SSD is not start after the installation of the OS was made using the HP installation DVD set.

  Remarks:

  The SSD is recognized, while holding, partitioned and Windows is correctly installed
  However it does not start it freezes after Hp logo without message when Win 8 should begin.
  Changing legacy BIOS boot and secureboot options results in error message appear "3F0 there is no boot device."
  even if a new fresh installation by using any combination of these options, the SSD is recognized and the tests went ok in the bios utility.

  Linking the SSD as external USB installation interrupted Windows can be seen.
  He tried with an another SSD, which is the same model with the same results.

  He finally works!, what I just did in the last hours is to reinstall from the recovery HP DVD media. But first I set old bios to activate OS, Secureboot to disable.

  Then it was installed, it worked well this time.

  When I did disabled legacy BIOS os and active secureboot.

  It runs as it wants!, it takes only 5 seconds to turn screen tile (I use fingerprint to log).

  Yes, he does. The specification note just list the drive Lenovo sells and tests.

  I used the 330 Intel and 520 180 gigas in my T420. I find that the 330 has about the same speed as the 520.

  What is the error message when you try to install on the SSD drive?

  I struggled to update my graphics driver. I have a laptop HP Pavilion dv4t 1600 CTO. My operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. My device driver is a Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family, and the driver version is 8.15.10.1883 08/27/2009. I tried to install the latest in Intel which is 15.17.19.64.2869. However, when you try to update the drivers, I get an error message:

  "The driver being installed is not vaildated for this computer. You can get the correct driver from the manufacturer, cmputer. Implementation will leave. »

  Which leads me to the HP site were I try to find an appropriate update. However, when you use the update of HP or the manual search, I end up with the same type of driver for the chipset graphics and sound. My problem is: I don't know that one must be updated.

  I play world of Warcraft, and I get the message "your device driver is out of date. This could mean one of them, if using the Intel drivers update utility, none of my pilots appeared. And everytime I try to update via HP, it seems that nothing has changed. I'll try to provide as much detail as possible and we hope to hear back soon on my problem. Attached are some screenshots of the dxdiag window.

  I recently bought an Intel 750 PCIe SSD 2.5 "drive and it hooked up to the TMIFA (adapter Flex ThinkStation Multi IO port) in the slot of a P700 flex. But the drive does not appear in the BIOS.

  I was wondering if there are specific parameters in the BIOS linked to the operation of the flex adapter, which can affect the player connected to get recognized by the machine?

  I tried to plug in a USB stick to the USB port on the TMIFA and it did work and appear in the BIOS. So the TMIFA seems to be OK.

  Can we really that the 750 is a DOA?

  Laptop are not like the desktop PC. You can just open the case and replace the vdeo card. If your laptop doesn't have a switchable graphics so no update that should meet your needs of games is possible except the following

  One solution is to buy an expensive external graphics adapter .

  The alternative is to play the game on a PC with an installed gamig card.

  I have one of my games and Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family (Star Wars: Knight of the Old Republic) needs me to set specific options for OpenGL.   I went to the site ftp of Dell and found a number of drivers for an Inspiron 1545; Go here: ftp://ftp.dell.com/Browse_For_Drivers/Laptops/Inspiron/Inspiron%201545/ .  You will need to drill below based on your operating system and decide if it's a driver later than what you already have.

  The other option is to go to the Intel website and let it detect your drivers and allow it to check the updates; Go here: http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect .
