I just bought for a rebuilt HP Envy 17-J1103cl that have no operating system installed. I installed Windows 7 64-bit... which accompanies the laptop driver cd was... I installed all the drivers from the cd, but still not get my USB ports to recognize my USBA STICKS... I have downloaded and run Unknown Device Identifier... It seems that miss me a USB driver... Intel 7 series/C216 Chipset Family XHCI USB Controller... I searched for two days and no luck finding this driver, always something close but not it... any ideas where I could find it or where further assistance... I try not to have to pay $30 - $40 for such software drive Max..., I add the Unknown Device Identifier text file just in case it can help... Thanks in advance... d...

They show that code 37 windows cannot initialize the driver.

I found the solution here. He has worked on all but one of the questions.
That the question is however 29 error code that says it can't find the driver. I have installed all the necessary drives, but it always seems to be the problem.

I recently installed Windows 7 on my hp envy 700-414 and missing a lot of pilots. A user by the name of banhiem gave me a link to download the drivers of a 700-230 hp envy. After I did it, I clicked on another link, it gave me to install the Realtek network controller. Whenever I tried to install the driver, it would tell me that I did not meet the requirements. Other drivers work fine now, except the network controller. The steps on how to fix this error would be greatly appreciated.

I went to the site ftp of Dell and found a number of drivers for an Inspiron 1545; Go here: ftp://ftp.dell.com/Browse_For_Drivers/Laptops/Inspiron/Inspiron%201545/ . You will need to drill below based on your operating system and decide if it's a driver later than what you already have.
The other option is to go to the Intel website and let it detect your drivers and allow it to check the updates; Go here: http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect .

My DV7-7212nr WANT is a laptop Windows 8, but I just installed Windows 7 Pro x 64 instead. has been able to find the driver LAN REaltek Web site, but there is always an instrument en which I can't locate a driver, and is one of USB controllers. Poster Intel 7 series Device Manager / host C216 Chipset Family controller works fine. But I should also note a separate USB controller that is not. I suspect it is the USB 2.0 controller, but I'm not sure. Any thoughts on how to install this device? Thank you!
