Table does not exist error during the creation of a procedure

The query runs and recover files but when the query is in a procedure, the procedure is in error (4/30 PL/SQL: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist) when creating. The snurk_cmms_csht008_rfs_misc is a public synonym with reference to the db2 database. How to do the procedure to get created?

Look for the grant on the table. He must be given a ROLE and if so, then, you must have direct subsidies on the table to use only it in PL/SQL.

    Could you please check the .fr file included in the project is set up correctly to compile and the compilation is successful with success for this file. You can quickly verify this by right-clicking on the file in VS .fr and check if the compilation shown option is indeed active and clicking Treaty the file successfully. If all this is correct, then the next step is to check the output created by this compilation, the path of the compiled files and the command-line merge_res.

    It is the primary key of the first table. You might not have set this column as the primary key of this table at the level of the db.

    I have this same problem this morning, and I was going crazy, until I found this Web page on the internet:

    The idea is that the jdeveloper is not very good with directories with spaces to work on the directory name. If you move all your work in a directory without spaces, it will work smoothly. At least, it worked for me.

  • Screen saver does not stay on during the night

    I use Jdeveloper 12 c and is trying to generate tables of a database in offline mode, I created, for a connection of database online. The error message that appears is:

    java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist.

    More information:

    The database I use is Oracle11g Database Release 2. And I get a warning saying that the 12 c functionality will be lost when generating an 11 g database.

    In addition, the problem occurs only when I have foreign key constraints in my table. All the other tables that have no foreign key constraints generates very well.

    Any ideas why this happens?

    Instead of directly generating the DB, generate a sql script. Then, you see the generated statement and can run the script using a db sql worksheet.

    I'm trying to write a procedure that is very simple - the only thing at this point, I'm trying to get it to do is an insert into a table - selected values from one schema to another user (on which I have select privileges to). When compiling, you receive an error ORA-942 - table or view does not exist. However, if I put the same insert statement in an anonymous PL/SQL block, it works as expected. What Miss me?

    You are missing the explicit subsidies on the table.

    When you issue this through SQL * Plus, or through an anonymous block you use grants which are given by a role.
    Inside PL/SQL procedures, you cannot use the permissions that come with roles. Instead, the user must have appropriate subsidies being explicitly for the operations required on this object.

    GRANT SELECT / INSERT etc. on this table to the user explicitly and it will work.

    It is very likely that you've got access to the table via a role. This allows you to use SQL to access.

    With packages, the grant must be directly to your schema, bypassing a role.

    Acquired through role privileges do not apply in stored procedures. Try to grant privileges to user directly and see if it works.

    You create the table in lowercase! From there, you use your name of the table in lowercase surrounded by quotation marks:
