Table of Cluster size cluster controller?

I often use the table VI of Cluster to change quickly to a data table in a cluster of data I can then connect to a waveform graph.  Sometimes, the number of parcels can be different which translates (full of zeros) additional plots on the chart, or missing parcels if the array is larger than the current cluster size.  I know that I can right-click on the node and manually set the size of cluster (up to 256).  I could also use a structure dealing with several table of Cluster nodes that I need, set them individually and a table of wire to the switch structure size case but this is the kind of a PITA.

My question is if someone knows a way to control the size of cluster programmatically value.  It seems that if I do a right click and do it manually there must be a way to automate it, but I of course can't understand.  Would be nice if you can just wire your right desired value in an optional entry on the node itself.  Any ideas would be very appreciated.

I feel that it is impossible.  See this idea of related discussion.

  • Odd number of nodes in the Cluster controller NSX

Why odd number of knots are required in the controller NSX Cluster?

The election of the master for each role requires a vote by a majority of all active and inactive nodes in the cluster. This is the main reason why a Cluster controller must always be deployed based on an odd number of nodes.

  • OBIEE 11 g Cluster Controller Failed to start

    Hello world

I'm trying to install and configure OBIEE 11 g and I have ran into an obstacle. I've got 11 GR 2 Oracle DB installed and works well on an Oracle RHEL 5.4 OS. This DB is the repository of metadata for OBIEE 11 g. I ran the utility RCU very well and users/storage of configuration space.

I've got OBIEE 11 g installed on Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2. The linux server and my server Windows have static IP addresses.

When installing for OBIEE 11 g, the task to start the Cluster controller has failed: execution: opmnctl start coreapplication_obiccs1

I found a few assignments by the BI Skura Group (http://www.skurabigroup.com/blog/?p=719) and they have had the same problem, however, they mentioned their problem was caused by dynamically assigned IP address, but I don't know certainly static.

Does anyone else have this problem? The blog above also indicated a work around, but I was hoping to fix the problem instead of simply bypassing it.

    Thanks for the help!

    -Joe

I had exactly the same problem but it is resolved by deleting a domain name, which is "us.oracle.com" in my case, of NQClusterConfig.INI located under C:\biee11\instances\instance1\config\OracleBIApplication\coreapplication. (I installed the BI11g under C:\biee11).

After removing all the domain name, then again that only the server cluster manually from the control of the merger (EM) control, then everything began to work including the connection to BI answers, connect on BI Publisher, open the RPD online.

If at this point, I'm pretty confident that these problems are something to do with the network, no server service, unable to connect something to do with networking with the loopback adapter. I went to come completely uninstalled everything remove the name of domain C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\host file and installed the BI11g once again, and then he went super smooth, no warning, no error, and everything works now great.

So basically there are three things to check before installation regarding the network settings. We must ensure that if you have installed the loopback adapter. The second is to set a static IP address for the loopback adapter network. The third is to define the etc/host file with a computer name and the static address you set on the loopback adapter. If you are unsure about the domain name then you should just use your computer name without the domain name. If you are running on a VM machine, which I do, you would most likely hit this issue without the configuration of the network.

The retail network configuration steps can be found here.

  • scroll bar for both tables of different size

    Hello world

I am applying for thermocouples. Application is working otherwise fine, but I can't make two tables of different size scrolls with a scroll bar. I've attached a picture to make it a little easier to understand. In the photo you can see that there are two tables. Superior is 1 d including channel names. Below is a table with time and the measured temperatures. Vertical scrolling works very well that only the lower table must be the object of a scroll. But if I want to scroll horizontally, I also need to scroll the top table so that the channel names and measured temperatures would correspond. This is the problem that I have not been able to solve. The lower table can 'constantly' update (vertically) because the measure may be underway. I tried to use nodes property tables below top table of controls (IndexValues). I found many many solutions that work with the same dimension tables, but I couldn't manage so that they work with my application. Anyone have any ideas? I use LV 8.6

    Thank you

    Mika

Also consider using a Table, where the built-in column heading allows to scroll the data, and it is the only control header & data.

  • 'For' loop with a different number of iterations. Second, the auto-indexation of the tables with different sizes is done. It can affect the performance of the Vi?

    Hello

I have a loop 'for' which can take different number of iterations according to the number of measures that the user wants to do.

Inside this loop, I'm auto-indexation four different 1 d arrays. This means that the size of the tables will be different in the different phases of the execution of the program (the size will equal the number of measures).

My question is: the auto-indexation of the tables with different sizes will affect the performance of the program? I think it slows down my Vi...

    Thank you very much.

My first thought is that the compiler to the LabVIEW actually removes the Matlab node because the outputs are not used.  Once you son upward, LabVIEW must then call Matlab and wait for it to run.  I know from experience, the call of Matlab to run the script is SLOW.  I also recommend to do the math in native LabVIEW.

  • How will I know "the size of a table special VS size of RAM"

    Hi all

How will I know "the size of a table special VS size of RAM"?

I should know because I want to understand what join method to use.

Please correct me if my attempt to catch the truth is crazy.

    Thanks in advance.

You can get the size of a table of DBA_SEGMENTS.  I'm sure you can get the amount of RAM of other tables of data dictionary as well if you can define precisely what memory segment you are interested in (e.g. CMS?)  PGA?  The amount of physical RAM on the box?  The size of the buffer cache?  The amount of virtual memory available?)

That being said, comparing the two is not as significant.  You, as a developer, are generally not in the business of choosing a join method.  It's the job of the optimizer.  And the optimizer takes into account a range of data that you have not begun to ask about yet.  The size of the table is not even particularly relevant for calculations - the optimizer the amount of data operations are back, the relative size of the data on each side of the join, the availability of indexes, etc. are all much more important than the raw size of the table (but the raw size of the array is a factor in the assessment of the amount of data that is returned).

  • I have the table and its size is full

I have the table and its size is full when im inseting records, not insert, how do I increase the size of table
    ALTER TABLESPACE ts_tbsp
      ADD datafile 'c:\oracle\product\10.2.0\oradata\df\ts_data01.dbf'
      SIZE 4M
      AUTOEXTEND ON;

    Means-
    In tablespace "ts_tbsp", adding a data file 'ts_data01 '.

AUTOEXTEND ensures in the future if whenever the data file fills an additional size of 4 M is added automatically.

Once it is created, a new data with the extension .dbf file is created in the folder Oradata.
    Another file dbf (default) includes:-SYSTEM.dbf, SYSAUX.dbf, TEMP.dbf, USERS.dbf, etc.

  • Control that sets the size of the table of Cluster

    Hallo,

I wish I had a digital user control that allows it to change the size of an array of controls (for clusters). Is it still possible?

    Hello

I don't know if the re-signature vi size of the array is what you want?

BTW, who can tell me why I can not download the *.vi file?

  • value of the box fix in table of cluster

    Hello!

I am changing a vi that contain the checkboxs in the cluster and contain a lot of cluster in the tables. I want to correct the value of the checkbox as true or false for a different set of cluster in the tables. Is it possible to do?

Your table has ~ 138 items. Each element is a cluster. Elements of a different table currently have different values for Boolean type, for example #68 is all WRONG, while #69 is TRUE for A1 and B1.

This is in direct contradiction with your statement!

After you define all the elements of the array for the desired design, make sure you the current value of the table (and not the cluster element!) the default and save the VI.

(If you change the default value for the actual cluster, it will apply to new items that you add by clicking on an element (greyed) after the current size of the array).

  • dynamic table of cluster creation

    Hello

Is it possible that labview acknowledges the size of the table and it automatically ungroup in groups as many as number of items in the table?

    PS. I'm using labview 8.2

Who would simply use a default cluster of 9 elements. What happens if the table is larger than 9?

    @ravi:

You don't need to convert a table to a cluster and unbundle then the cluster to get the individual items. Index picture is resizable. Better yet: use a loop for with autoindexing. On the real graph being created I do not understand it. You use the same X value with different values of Y. It is just a vertical line. As altenbach likes to say, your code can be simplified to fit on a small stamp:

  • Use to write key VI with a table of cluster

    Hello

I wanted to use an array of clusters to define certain configuration settings for an application. Unfortunately, 'Write key VI' does not support the type of cluster. Has anyone modified this function ('write key VI') in support of cluster and cluster table? Otherwise, no idea to keep it as simple as possible?

My clusters include boolean, path, U32 and string.

    Thank you

    Olivier

FYI, I have eventually save the cluster as a binary ("Write to binary function') file and a VI to read/write it. Is the easiest way for me as the other functions seem to have a limit on the complexity of the clusters they can handle.

    Thnaks for your suggestions,

    Olivier

  • Replace a table in the table of cluster! Possible?

    Hello

I had a problem with the insertion of a table that I acquired from an another vi in the existing table in the cluster. My big table contains a set of 5 elements (name, value, save, current and position.) I want to connect my slot vi, whose output is a table of the number, in vi main by replacing only the values in the main draw. All values in the main draw are acquired from sub vi but the rest of the data remains the same. I also want my main table to look the same too, except the values have changed. I know this sounds simple enough, but I don't really know.

    Thanks in advance

I guess that you need something like that. This will replace the values present in the main table with the values obtained from the Sub vi.

    Good luck

  • Dynamic event to manage 12 x 12 table or Cluster UI

I try to treat up to a table of 12 x 12/cluster to allow different LED. The enable method will be two digital controls, JPY, which lights to LEDs in a specific order based on the input of control MxN. The specific order is right to left, bottom to top. Right now, I have only a handful of functional States, but I have to consider all States as indicated on my block diagram. I'm looking for some feedback on how to handle this dynamically. I am aware of save for events, but do not have the experience to understand if this is the path I must take. Thanks in advance to all those who respond!

    Examples

    2 x 2 3 x 3

    4. 3 9 | 8. 7

    2. 1 6 | 5. 4

    3. 2. 1

While a single LED can be active at any time give right? Use a 2D Boolean LEDs, which is initialized to 12 x 12 table, then using replace table scheme, write a real led to index MxN. To do this in an event of value changed order of rows or columns. The code would be probably good on a postage stamp. Nodes value field or local variables.

(Next time, please attach your VI rather oversized, truncated photos that show very little of the story.) (Thank you.)

It would be useful to have an example of what real cluster Bay look like the typical data. One way to do is by saving the content of the table cluster in a configuration file (.ini extension) and then use the OpenG screws of the Variant Configuration file to store and retrieve data from the configuration file. You can get these screws in the VI package manager.

Here is an example. The generated configuration file is also attached.
