Table of contents does not scroll on Android Tablet

Hello

I'm creating a course with many water slides and he uses of Captivate TOC as menu.

However, I found that I was not able to 'scrolling' to navigate through the table of contents in Android. It works on iPad but not on the Android tablet.

This creates a big problem for us, like tablets Android from our learners customer company uses for training.

Can someone help with this problem? The Tablet I use is Samsung tab S 10.5

Thank you

Dave

This is the result today discuss this issue with Adobe support chat. This question has officially marked as a bug, but there is no required time fix this bug.

So, if all those who want to build a course in Captivate for Android devices and want to use OCD as a menu of navigation (with the lit gesture), a big big no!

Because, it does allow you to scroll through the menu, and Adobe will not fix this bug any time soon.

And that's what really happened behind the scenes - even give me a notice that the status of the incident has been removed, or even tell me why this was the case withdrawn.

:

And this is the last email I received from Adobe until the case is withdrawn - and I mean why question scale within the product, team claim that Adobe will give me an update as soon as possible and then removed from the case--silently?

  • Table of contents does not on the page

    Hello

I'm working on single-level TOC. I created a table of contents style.

However, after inserting the table of contents (by clicking 'Ok'), I get the following message:

    1.PNG

I'm not sure what this means. And if I click on 'Yes', I get the following message:

    2.PNG

Yet once again, im not sure why I see this message, because there is no existing table of contents. When you click on 'OK' I do not see a busy cursor and there is no visible TOC on the page.

    ID appreciate your help.

Overset text indicates that you have a text in one or several images which does not appear anywhere in a document. Double-click the red light at the bottom of the document window to open the preflight Panel. Click on the triangles to expose problems. This file has two instances of overset text. Click on the page number on the far right access to one of the examples of problem:

Overset text icon is one more red in the lower right of the frame.

There was no place to make this framework any longer, so I've added columns and now all the text fits. A port to clear signals the end of the document. The preflight panel shows now only remaining error, I would set the same way.

The table of contents can generate very well with overset text, both positions are visible. But you're not finished with the layout until you have solved all the problems of overset text, InDesign tries to help by alerting you of the situation.

  • Table of contents does not work - it does not show the unique points

Hey, I'm lost - I work as a designer of book and it's on the 2000th book I did with indesign - and suddenly - this is a update new version problem or I'm suddenly stupid? -It seems no longer works...

problem: I have two formats for the titles, both are used correctly in the entire document. I add in the table of contents, give them their own formats and so on... and when I genereate the thing, nothing. no points, no page numbers only, only the head... and there is also

No any hidden text, it simply does not create this shit

Excuse my language, I tried for two days now...

I add a screenshot, maybe I'm completely blind? can someone help me?

    screenshot.jpg

Thank you! I solved it just... it was missing a link in the pages of text (sorry, I don't know the English terms for this) and after I plugged - VOILA! Two days of lost, but a new experience...

  • Publish online Table of contents does not

I have published two documents printed with the publication online (InDesign 2015). Everything works well except the table of interactive contents (which works fine when I export to PDF).

The table of contents in the online version gives an error when you click on the entries.

Is this a bug or I do something wrong?

    Hi Melissa,

Please make sure that during the creation of OCD, 'Make text anchor in paragraph source' is checked in the Table of contents dialog box. This option is necessarily be checked when creating the TOC to make OCD clickable links in EPUB documents and publish online.

And for the hyperlink to page iv, it seems that you have an empty frame on an entire page that is above that block of text in the click event handler then not sent to hyperlink hyperlink. In the case of text hyperlinks make sure there are no objects that overlap on.

    Thank you

  • Table of contents does not include the Section prefix

The pages of this document in particular has a section prefix 'A', so the pages are numbered as well: a-1, A-2, A-3, etc.

When I run a Table of contents, the table of contents is generated without the prefix, as the following section:

    Section 1... 1

    Section 2... 5

    Section 3... 9

Is there a way, or something I'm missing from the table of contents is generated as follows:

    ... Section 1 a-1

    Section 2... A-5

    Section 3... A-9

    CS6, TIA

Discovered the problem. When the numbering, I thought that I had actually created a section prefix. I have not, I just typed in the 'A' before the current Page marker.

  • Table of contents does not work

    InDesign cs6, windows XP

I have a book created with 16 documents (so far). I tried to create a Table of contents (TOC); He's not well.

In the document that I put to the table of contents (in the book), the OCD side is open after the chapters of books have been digitized. I selected the paragraph Styles to include in the table of contents of the list of styles, discovered in the documents. I selected OK. I got the text icon. I placed the TOC and... nothing. (Finally, I got the title of "Content"). I expected a little more.

    What Miss me?

  • Saved style table of contents does not export EPUB

I created and saved a new style of table of contents, tested in its document to ensure that it looked good, added this doc to my book, all saved file and went to export my ebook. In the drop down "Styles KNOCK", the only two TOC styles avaiable are "Default" and "No. Style", and my saved style is not displayed. No idea why?

    Other info:

-I am running a trial version of Adobe InDesign CS6

    -I'm on a PC

-I have not yet tried to reset my preferences, but want to avoid if possible

I've asked this question before, but was not clear on the problem because I did not entirely understand myself. Hope it's OK that I'm the reword for clarity now. Thank you!

Hi all! POOJA has contacted me via PM and solved my problem. I didn't create the table of contents in the document Source of Style. DUH. I feel like a retard, but I appreciate all the help.

  • Entry table of contents does not appear

I created several helpsystems that works very well. However... in one of them the 'show-link' to a specific page does not open the content page in a correct Manor. It only shows the topics but not with the focus on the real issue. Does anyone here know why or what to do?

Edit: It works locally but not when published to a server.

Not really sure because he works on site. See if 1 excerpt on my site helps.

  • Table of contents does not work correctly. Help!

    Hello!

When my projects are published, in the table of contents it shows only the first 5 slides.

    Help?

The same phenomenon occurs if you start a new empty project and add 10 slides, configuration all that they appear in the table of contents?  Or it only happens with the upgraded projects?

Are these issues in all types of sensitive and non-responsive projects?

  • [HTML only Articles] dynamically adding content does not scroll through the article.

    Hello

I noticed that if I dynamically change the content of the article (for example, to add a paragraph of information) then the scroll bar WebView external will not update to make it me access the new maximum height of article. I don't know if it's a "designed as" side webview iOS or if something

    More simple example to illustrate what I'm saying;

    1. create the new article with basic html structure

    2 make a button that adds a 50px x 50px div

3 - Repeat until the divs are off the screen.

The overall scroll webview bar will not be updated and let to display the new content. Once I have rotate from landscape to portrait (or), the new content is properly 'dropdown' - until I have add (rotation arrange once again, rinse repeat).

I put put workarounds in place for this, by wrapping everything in width x height wrapper and enabling scrolling on this outer shell. This seems to solve the problem in most cases, but I wanted to see if anyone had a keen workarounds for this device or that solution happens

    -Mark

Unfortunately, this is how it works. The outside view calculates the size when the content is loaded for the first time. There is no way to tell the outside view to update to the new size.

  • Table of contents do not work in FireFox 3

I use the WebHelp on RoboHelp 7 (XP blue skin). The table of contents does not appear on FireFox 3. RoboHelp 7 WebHelp models don't support FF 3? (Look good on 2.0 FF and IE).

[Edit: I find someone else here with a similar problem...] Part of Navigation of WebHelp killed by FireFox 3

    For me,.

    Firefox 3 + Win XP = broken

    Firefox 3.0.1 + Vista = works

Firefox 3 + Mac = don't like, because we do not support :) If someone wants to publish their findings, please do not hesitate.

I'm not under custom scripts, so it may be that. [I'll post more as I learn more.]

It's like I said to someone else in another thread, the cause is the Firebug / HR combination. I don't know who we're talking so all that you can do is bug report it to both organizations. I understand your comment about your customers, but disable Firebug is the only known workaround. Post it in this thread has reported the bug to Adobe and Firebug. You should do the same. Here is the link to Adobe.

I confirmed in the thread you said that Brainskillet was referring to the two patches you have.

  • Pages created with TPL does not scroll

I recently acquired a contract to upgrade a site built in CS2 with tables for something that is HTML 4.01 compliant. I use CS5 and have updated the design of the TPL, but now my pages does not scroll with the new model. I tried using the tag of overflow in several ways and locations in the worksheet DWT and style itself, but to no avail. I also created new pages of this model, and they either scroll. I clearly missed something, someone has ideas about what it is? Someone needs to code snippets?

    Thank you, Kevin

A couple of things.  First, you can ignore the Javascript error in the validation of DW.  It's the old code, designed to work with older browsers, so it is not always validate.  Table tag error I would still recommend fixation as well as the style tag that appears after the body.

Next to your scrolling problem, your content is in a fixed position container.  Fixed positioning means that the container will be in the same place and is not really grow or shrink.  He's right there.  It is not flow with the rest of your document and I see no reason to keep it fixed.  And on top of that, it is inside a table cell that makes even less sense.  Delete and see if that solves your problem.

  • Table of contents - do not enter the table header overflow

    Hey,.

In my table of contents, I listed two styles:

1 table of contents Title Page

2 - the ToC table header

I also have my table set up correctly - headers, so when a Table flows to a second page - table headers appear in this second page as it should. The tables are large - and not the way to avoid overflow. I think that the principle is called "Text Threading" - but it also works with the tables.

In the majority of cases - the implementation works perfectly.

HOWEVER when the table flows to a second page - TocTable header does not appear in the Table of contents regenerated.

For example, the table of contents looks like this:

    Electric Page 6

    Machine X - Y - Z Page 6

    Electric Page 7

    Electric Page 8

When it SHOULD look like this:

    Electric Page 6

    Machine X - Y - Z Page 6

    Electric Page 7

    Machine X - Y - Z Page 7

    Electric Page 8

    Machine X - Y - Z Page 8

Is this possible? I have looked at all - and cannot find all the options.

    Thank you!

Clarify: X-Y-Z Machine is the title of the table, and he appears in a header row (repetition) over a several page table? And you want each occurrence of table header appear in the table of contents and not only the first occurrence?

I don't think it will work this way. Header lines is modified on the first page of a table: other pages just repeat the info, but it is not accessible. It would work if you put the title of table above the table (not inside) and it repeated manually at the top of the pages. It's more work, but it will get the desired result. You mentioned that it doesn't happen that often, so maybe that's a doable "workflow" for you.

That said, most of the TOCs brings you to the first page of a chapter, section, paragraph, and table and do not repeat the entry when the chapter, section, paragraph or a table contains more than one page. If I have sought to your table of contents and wanted to see the section on electricity, I have to stop and wonder what page to go to the first. I think that eventually, I would choose the premiera.

  • text does not scroll

Hi, I have a problem with this page. http://reystyler.com/kwekjong/citrus-calamondin.html

I pin the text because I want to keep it in the right place. But now the text does not scroll, and the page is changing.

    Can you help me?

    best regards Jan

It looks like you want a page aligned left, rather than the default behavior, which is centered.

Disable the PIN on all points. SIte properties (or Page for a specific page properties) uncheck the option "Center horizontally.

Now, your content will be left-aligned in the browser and scroll normally.

  • Table of contents do not show in the view main provision

OK, it must be something small minor that I do not.

I created a project by importing a PDF file and creating themes based on a given style.

In the project manager pod (?), under project files, I have 6 files. Each of the 6 files seems to be one of my subjects. Good so far.

A table of contents was not created, so I clicked on each of the 6 files and choose New > Table of contents.

Now, always in project management, the Table of contents file has my entries, but when I use the main View Layout button, I get subjects with no table of contents (Nothing in the navigation pane when the content is selected). OK, this isn't quite right, as I get the FIRST topic in the content pane and a full white in the navigation pane.

My computer does show a warning that Microsoft protects me against the virus self-inflicted bad by not allowing not content to run, unless I authorize it expressly, but I when even didn't have no content when I leave the content.

Is there something minor that I do not? (I'm the take that the main View Layout is supposed to show what will be the final result)

    Thank you

    Solon

In the project manager, you should see listed contents. From what you say, rather than create the default TOC, you chose to create a new. That will be confirmed by see two entries in the Table of contents.

So what happened is probably rather than set the wizard to use the new table of contents, you left the value by default if you generated using the default instead of the table of contents you created.

Double-click the main layout and change the table of contents used in the first page of your new, and it should be OK.

If you double-click a table of contents in the project manager, you should see open in a pod.
