Table to CSV - data being truncated values

I run a script to pull several bits of information about a computer virtual to a CSV file that contains only windows host names.

It's quick and dirty (for 1 hour) and badly written... I know.

My problem is... this end $array cut the last few numbers in my IP address, so that gives me only one IP even if there are several for this virtual machine.

If I do an out-gridview everythign is superb.

foreach ($server in $serverlist) {
    $vm1 = $null
    $hostname = $server.hostname
    $vm = Get-View -ViewType virtualmachine -Filter @{
        "Guest.HostName"="$hostname"
        "GuestHeartbeatStatus"="green"
        }
    $hostname
    $vm.name
    $vm1 = Get-VM $vm.name
    $array += New-Object -TypeName PSObject -Property @{
        DNSName = $server.hostname
        VMName = $vm1.name
        OS = $vm1.Guest.OSFullName
        NumCPU = $vm1.NumCpu
        MemoryMB = $vm1.MemoryMB
        IPAddress = $vm1.Guest.IPAddress | Out-String
    }

}

$array | select vmname,dnsname,os,ipaddress,memorymb,numcpu | export-csv c:\csv\test.csv -NoTypeInformation

I have

Try changing the line that calculates the IPAddress property in this

  • Data export of the Disqualification to the table in step should not truncate the table.

    Hello friends,

    Please find blow my requirement and do the necessary.

    We export data cleaned to staging tables, whenever we export data, Disqualification truncates the table and inserts the new data sets into this table.

    My requirement is instead of truncating the table before inserting the data in it, Disqualification must add these records, should not truncate the table.

    Please let me know how to configure this in OEDQ, your help is appreciated.

  • How to select the csv data stored in a BLOB column as if it were an external table?

    Hi all

    (Happy to be back after a while! )

    Currently I am working on a site where users should be able to load the data of csv (comma is the separator) of their client machines (APEX 3.2 application) in the Oracle 11.2.0.4.0 EE database.

    My problem is:

    I can't use an external table (for the first time in my life ) so I'm a little clueless what to do as the csv data is stored by the application of the APEX in a BLOB column, and I'm looking for an elegant way (at least SQL PL/SQL/maximization) to insert the data into the destination table (run validations by a MERGER would be the most effective way to do the job).

    I found a few examples, but I think they are too heavy and there could be a more elegant way in Oracle DB 11.2.

    Simple unit test:

    drop table CBC purge;

    drop table dst serving;

    create table src

    (myblob blob

    );

    create table dst

    (num number

    , varchar2 (6) str

    );

    Insert in src

    Select utl_raw.cast_to_raw (1; AAAAAA ;'|| Chr (10) |

    2; BATH; »

    )

    Double;

    Desired (of course) output based on the data in table SRC:

    SQL > select * DST;

    NUM STR

    ---------- ------

    1 ABDELKRIM

    2 BATH

    Does anybody know a solution for this?

    Any ideas/pointers/links/examples are welcome!

    Haha, wonder about regexp is like the blind leading the blind!

    However, it's my mistake: I forgot to put the starting position setting (so 1, 2, 3,... was in fact the starting position, not the nth occurrence. duh!)

    So, it should actually be:

    select x.*
    ,      regexp_substr(x.col1, '[^;]+', 1, 1)
    ,      regexp_substr(x.col1, '[^;]+', 1, 2)
    ,      regexp_substr(x.col1, '[^;]+', 1, 3)
    ,      regexp_substr(x.col1, '[^;]+', 1, 4)
    ,      regexp_substr(x.col1, '[^;]+', 1, 5)
    ,      regexp_substr(x.col1, '[^;]+', 1, 6)
    from  src
    ,      xmltable('/a/b'
                  passing xmltype(''||replace(conv_to_clob(src.myblob), chr(10), '')||'')
                  columns
                    col1 varchar2(100) path '.') x;

    Note: that's assuming that all the "columns" passed in the string won't be lame.

    If one of them might be null, then:

    select x.*
    ,      regexp_substr(ltrim(x.col1, ';'), '[^;]+', 1, 1)
    ,      regexp_substr(ltrim(x.col1, ';'), '[^;]+', 1, 2)
    ,      regexp_substr(ltrim(x.col1, ';'), '[^;]+', 1, 3)
    ,      regexp_substr(ltrim(x.col1, ';'), '[^;]+', 1, 4)
    ,      regexp_substr(ltrim(x.col1, ';'), '[^;]+', 1, 5)
    ,      regexp_substr(ltrim(x.col1, ';'), '[^;]+', 1, 6)
    from   src
    ,      xmltable('/a/b'
                  passing xmltype(replace(';'||replace(conv_to_clob(src.myblob), chr(10), ';')||'', ';;', '; ;'))
                  columns
                    col1 varchar2(100) path '.') x;

  • Update the values in the Table from another Table containing historical data

    So, I have two tables, a table and a master table.  The current table is updated each week and at the end of the week, is copied to the main table to keep historical data.  I have update the table in progress early in the week and want to take the latest data from the master table and update the current table with the data.  The current table could have additional IDs or some of the IDS could have deposited (these lines would receive data in the main table).  I want to only update the rows in the current table that have existing data to the attr1, attr2, attr3 columns.  A particular ID may have more than one record in the primary table, I want only the last disk to use for updating the current table.  The data from a different database where no direct connection is possible then I have to import data every week.  Here are some statements of create/insert:

    Updated value Mananger as empty in the person's file to import everything based on a value in the csv file csv data

    Your model looks good. Subcode is may not be not necessary. below would be the solution to meet the requirement.

    1. to your rule mapping for importing data, keep it but remove the mapping to UID_PersonHead

    2 2 modifier change over mapping rules, delete all but keep PK (isKey) and map the domain manager to UID_PersonHead

    3. add conversion script in the field of cartography to UID_PersonHead, as

    If Manager (e.g., empID) exists in person and IsInactive = False Then

    Value = $Manager$

    On the other

    Ignore UPDATE

    EndIF

    4. ensure in 2nd rule of mapping only update checked, add should be DISABLED

    5 finishes 2nd mapping XML to generate a new script

    6. update your data import process to add another step to update with the new script manager

  • Update/Add data to a table to CSV

    Hi Experts,
    I am very new to Oracle. I have a scenario where I get a CSV posted in a folder every day. I need to download the same on a table, the csv file may have already existing records which we might want to put up-to-date and also new records, which must be inserted recently. Can someone suggest a best practice for this. IM open to use Perl/Shell scripts. Please let me know.

    Welcome to the forum!

    Assuming that the file is on the database server...
    Then, you can use an external table and a single MERGE statement to load data from the file.

  • Starting from two data tables, how do you get the values in two columns using values in a column (values get col. If col. A is not null values and get the pass. B if col. A is null)?

    Two tables provided, how you retrieve the values in two columns using values in a column (the pass get values. If col. A is not null values and get the pass. B if col. A is null)?

    Guessing

    Select nvl (x.col_a, y.col_b) the_column

    from table_1 x,.

    table_2 y

    where x.pk = y.pk

  • Download CSV data by different users

    I have several different clients (IE users in groups) who need to download the CSV data in the same table. I made the pages load in APEX 4.1 using the download Assistant jobs and given very good data. Now, how could I know then what lines downloaded belongs to which group of users?

    I'd be able to have an additional column which is filled automatically during the download. A table trigger could work by entering a value of sys_context in an additional column on the table to download. Or is there another way?

    Thanks for the suggestions, Timo

    Hello

    You can have an extra column in the table for example CREATED_BY and before insert trigger, use

    :NEW.CREATED_BY := NVL(v('APP_USER'), USER);

    Which will insert current user APEX for this column, or the database user name if someone insert the data directly at the table.

    Kind regards

  • Pass data between applications value reference

    The issue is that data application reference value is local to the application instance, or can be transferred between different applications.

    I have a main application that acquires the table of 100 MB and I need to use these data in a dll. Obviously, I don't want to send table, reference would be better. Both applications are generated in labview 2011.

    The second question is whether reference data value can be converted to a string (type cast or flatten to a string) and back. For example with DAQmx tasks flatten to a string does not work.

    Alexander_Sobolev wrote:

    It's value application data reference is local to the application instance.

    Yes.

    or may be transferred between applications.

    Laughing out loud

    The second question is whether reference data value can be converted to a string (type cast or flatten to a string) and back.

    Yes, but only means something in the app instance appeared to reference.

    You will want to perhaps give more details on what are your real needs, but keep in mind that play with memory directly in LV is not so simple, as he does all he can to hide these details you.

    If you pass a pointer to an array to a DLL, you can configure the DLL for this call. If you want to get an accurate picture of LV in memory address and passing around, this isn't something LV supports and you shouldn't do that because the memory should not be controlled by more than one master at any time in time.

    LV has functions of memory allocation and to get the pointer back, but requiring explicit calls.

    Anyway, I have no real experience with this. If you want to read materials, there are at least two users here with much more knowledge on the subject and you can go through their messages or search and filter for their post - rolfk and nathand.

  • How to select a record in one table to manipulate data in a database?

    Hello community,

    Using 32-bit Labview 2015.

    I created a user interface that runs a query and retrieves my table from a sql database.

    I want to be able to manage only one record at a time by selecting the record in my table and then manipulate the data according to the needs.

    Whenever the user runs a query, I want as the first record in the table to be selected / highlighted.

    I want an indicator that is currently active.

    Then a click of a button, to be able to scroll the actively selected record.

    Once I have the selected record, I want a way to write a query to edit or delete the record.

    Is attached a photo of my query to select all of my table and connect data in my table (results).

    Attached a photo of my painting showing the timeline of my sql database.

    What is the best way to go on a record selection in a table and the modification of data with a query?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    I guess that's not a table, but multi-column listbox.

    Right click, select--> highlight whole line selection Mode

    The value of the multicolumn listbox is the row index - you can write a local variable to highlight the line, the event structure to handle the user clicking on, etc.

    If you enable the property editable ListBox cells, you can allow users to edit the items of the listbox.

    If you want to get the data in row, you hint REF table and work with the array of strings in row - convert it to cluster, etc..

    I don't know, what type of data, it is, how you structure the database looks like, I don't even know if you use the wrapper to work with the database, I can't write queries for you.

    Something like Update Tablica Set Serial = '5' where ID = '22';

  • Convert the Period_Name in GL_JE_Lines table to a date format and then come back year

    I'm working on a data model BI Publisher and I try to convert the Period_Name in GL_JE_Lines table to a date format and then return of the year.

    The sql below works in 11i, but I can't make it work in Fusion.

    to_char (to_date (l. )) period_name , ' MON-RR ' ),'YYYY')

    Any ideas?

    Hi Jennifer,.

    To_char (sysdate, 'DDMONYYYY') in BI Publisher does not return a correct results due NLS_DATE_FORMAT/DATE_LANGUAGE settings.

    According to the standards of the I18N, NLS_DATE_LANGUAGE in the database is still hardcoded to NUMERIC_DATE_LANGUAGE. NUMERIC_DATE_LANGUAGE 'MY' in a date format mask is an integer, so you see the correct value.

    You're not supposed to publish direct SQL with fixΘe format masks (unless it's some sort of canonical format used in internal processing, including the end-user will not be), you should return language digital date to the mid range and then make the formatting of y.

    Workaround

    Try adjusting the NLS_LANGUAGE in SQL data model to override formatting from of the

    Data base and values of the Session, for ex: select to_char (sysdate, 'MON-DD-YYYY', 'NLS_DATE_LANGUAGE = AMERICAN') of double;

    I got this Oracle support after lifting a SR.

    Thank you

    Rahul.

    Someone suggest me a slightly easier way to insert data...

    Thank you...

    You're complicating things

    A simple MERGE statement will do.

    create or replace procedure (proc_upd_email_records)

    loc_xml in clob

    )

    is

    Start

    merge into e emp3

    a_l'_aide_de)

    Select id

    response

    from xmltable)

    "/ FAX/EMAILOG.

    by the way xmlparse (document loc_xml)

    the columns id number way "ID".

    , path of varchar2 (250) response 'RESPONSE '.

    )

    ) v

    on (e.empno = v.id)

    When matched then update

    Set e.fax_response = v.response

    ;

    end;

    /

    But there is no value added by using these temporary tables if you are not at least an intermediate XMLType column (storage preferably binary XML).

    -What is the input XML code?

    -What is the version of db?

  • Please let me know how I can add a new column with a constraint not null, table already has data, without falling off the table... Please help me on this issue...

    Hello

    I have an emp_job_det with a, b, c columns table. Note that this TABLE ALREADY has DATA OF THESE COLUMNS

    IAM now add a new column "D" with forced not null

    Fistly I alter the table by adding the single column "D", if I do, the entire column would be created with alll of nulls for the column DEFAULT D

    ALTER table emp_job_det Add number D; -do note not null CONSTRAINT is not added

    Second... If I try to add the constraint not null, get an eoor as already conatained null values...

    (GOLD)

    In other words, if I put the query

    ALTER table emp_job_det Add number D NOT NULL; -THROWS ERROR AS TABLE ALREADY CONTAINS DATA

    So my question is how how can I add a new column with a constraint not null, table already has the data, without falling off the table

    Please help me on this issue...

    Add the column without constraint, then fill the column. Once all the rows in the table are given in the new column, and then add the constraint not null.
