  It's just terribly, terribly code.

  You should not be using heights or split cells in a table.

  The cause of your 'current' issue is through the establishment of a height on yourcell:

• Flowing text back & forth from table to table

  IM using InDesign CS5 to try to understand how the flow of text in the table to the table? I watched & read a considerable amount of tutorials on setting up cells, lines, fillings etc., border... But can't find any information on how to link text between the tables. If I have tables side by side... say 4 c Columns by 4 rows of each... How can I get the text of table 1 to sink in the first row of table 2. And, on the other hand, if I want to remove the text of the last row of table 1 How can I get the text to lines 1 and 2 of table 2 to go back to the last two rows of table 1. I can't understand how to do other than cut & paste thi & I know that can't be right. If this is explained somewhere I apologize-, but I can't find the "How To" on it.   You put your tables in a box like this:

  You now have a table in multiple boxes, which can be on multiple pages that "pass" all as you put text boxes.  However, you will not be able to delete data in one box and get back, you need to remove the entire line.

  Tables all live in frames of related texts and so are stuck at the edge of the textframe by default (if you have not changed its position in the table preferences) which is usually the left side. Try to make a separate textframe for the table and move.
