    How can I create a table with muse?

    Muse do not support building tables at this time.

    However, you can add HTML table to the object-> the option Insert HTML code as a way to get around this.

    You can even try lining up a few text boxes with or without contour applied to create a tabular look editable in design mode.

  • Creating tables in Muse

    I am rebuilding an existing (my first) Muse site. One of the pages, a guide to products, is primarily a table. Here are the existing page: http://www.saracenlanding.com/saracen-landing-seasonal-produce-guide.html the most convenient source I found to insert a table of this widget: http://www.muse-themes.com/blogs/news/14419349-creating-a-table-in-adobe-muse-powerful-new - widget

    I looked a their tutorial that is quite simple, but looks like it could not accommodate the table I want to reproduce that depends on the style of individual cells with a color fill or no fill color.

    Being very new Muse, I wonder if this widget is the way to go? It will allow me to style individual cells? If not, is there a better way to go with the color of cells... or should I punt and just put an X or something like that in the appropriate cell?

    Any help from those who know more than me is welcome.

    Thank you

    Hello

    You can use the widget, however, to apply styles to individual cells, you would need to design decision-making to help: HTML generator - TablesGenerator.com table and then place the code generated by the same in 'edit the HTML option' as shown in this video: MuseThemes.com - Table Widget Maker | Adobe Tutorial - YouTube Muse

  • Y at - it an easy way to create or import tables in muse

    I am trying to create a Web site that uses tables for things like rankings and results, but I need an easy way to put them in the muse.

    I got a discount to create tables in dreamweaver and import the HTML resulting, and I created tables in Indesign and imported as JPEG files, but this of course so does not allow me to change on the fly.

    If anyone can help.

    It has developed before on the other forum many times, and still there is no way to import editable tables directly in Muse.

  • Structures of table within Muse

    Is there a way to generate structures of tables you'd see in web page design tools such as DreamWeaver upscale?  If a new Widget could be designed to do the job, it would be a fantastic thing.

    There may already be a product out there that does this, but I can't seem to find on the Exchange site.

    Peter Marsh.

    Hi Peter

    You can create rectangles and serve as table or the use of the product table in exchange library.

    Another solution would be to create the table in Excel and then save as a web page > open in Notepad (or browser > view page source) > copy html code > object > insert HTML code.

    It would show the same table that you created in Excel.

    You can try this.

  • Simple table - best way to create in the Muse?

    Hello

    I want to insert a simple table into a page in Muse.  This is an Excel spreadsheet with 6 rows and 4 columns.  It seems that I can select the cells in Excel, copy and paste in Muse.  I can also create the table directly in Muse using text boxes with striped borders - easy since my table is so small.  I read the posts here on the use of object and place, but I don't know that I need it.  I didn't need the ability to modify the data of Muse.

    My question is this: what is the best way to create a simple table in Muse?

    Thank you.

    John

    Hello

    This really depends on your preferences as well as the specific features of the table that you want to create. In your case, because the table is simple and does not need to be edited, it may be more simple create the table using text boxes and stroked the borders in muse (as you already have) you don't need to use more than one program.

    However, have you ever needed the ability to modify your tables, your best bet is to integrate the HTML code in Muse. You can do this with a table in Excel:

    What are the exact steps to get an array of Exel to Muse.

    Or create the table using a HTML generator:

    HTML - TablesGenerator.com table generator

    No option requires no knowledge of HTML. I hope this helps!

  • JavaScript. In Adobe Muse JS file?

    Hello

    So lets say I have this simple HTML table in Muse:

    < input type = "text" id = 'Search' placeholder 'Search Type' = >

    < id of the table = "table" >

    < thead >

    < b >

    < th > fruit < /th >

    < /Th > < th > color

    < /tr >

    < / thead >

    < tbody >

    < b >

    Apple < td > < table >

    < Table > < td > Green

    < /tr >

    < b >

    Grapes < td > < table >

    < Table > < td > Green

    < /tr >

    < b >

    < Td > < table > Orange

    < Td > < table > Orange

    < /tr >

    < / tbody >

    It appears correctly. However, for the search function works, I need this JavaScript:

    var $rows = $(' #tableau tr');

    {$('#search').keyup (function ()}

    var val = ' ^ (? =. * \\b' + $.trim($(this).val()).split(/\s+/).join('\\b)(?=.*\\b ') + '). * $',

    Reg = RegExp (val, 'i'),

    text;

    {$rows.show () .filter (function ()}

    text = $(this) .text () replace (/ \s + / g, ' ');

    return! Reg.test (text);

    ({. hide()});

    });

    Ive read about the messages if I insert this code in the < head > page with the < script type = "text/javascript" > tag that should work, but Ive had no chance. Y at - it something I am doing wrong?

    Hello

    You can simply do this with the code below string.

            Fruit

            Color

          Apple

          Green

          Grapes

          Green

          Orange

          Orange

    Please go to object > insert HTML code and paste the above code you should be all set.

    Later, you can change the codes according to your requirement.

  • What are the exact steps to get an array of Exel to Muse.

    I read here that we can export a table from Excel and insert it as a HTML object, but it does not work for me. Either it tells me "Unable to generate a thumbnail" or I get a box with the words HTML. I tried export as a web page and a single file web page. I open the following files in Notepad and then insert in Muse as an HTML object. After you paste the code, I tried to cut a portion of the text on the top and bottom, but nothing works. If I click with the right button on the file to my desktop and open it in a web browser, he seems to find. I would be grateful is someone could clarify the exact measurements I need to take to make. Thank you.

    Well, it took several hours and a bit of luck, but after that I made this post I figured out how to insert an Excel table in Muse. For future users seraching this forum, the trick is that you are not exporting the entire sheet, you need to export only the cells needed. If you export the entire sheet, you can open it in any browser and it looks great, but Muse can't handle this. So, here are the steps that you can use for Muse.

    1. click and drag in Excel to enter all the cells you want for your table.

    2 - tab Excel 'File' and choose ' Save as '.

    3. in the menu "Save As Type", select "Web Page".

    4 - Click on the 'Republish' at the bottom left circle. (Rank of your cell, for example, $B$ 2: $ 7 $K, will be displayed when the word repost.)

    5 - Click on the "Publish" button (It's counterintuitive, but you DO NOT click on the 'Save' button).

    6. in the new box that opens, click "publish". (You don't need to do anything else in this area. Although I don't really know what the other options are for. Maybe they are useful and can develop another person.)

    7. now you have a Notepad file on your desk (that's what happened on my computer, perhaps due to the settings on your computer, it'll go somewhere else and be linked to a program different.) with the same name as your original Excel file.

    8 - Open this file and copy the HTML text.

    9. then in Muse, choose 'Object', ' insert HTML code "and paste the code.

    A few other things I've learned about tables in Muse. When I could not Muse to accept HTML from Excel, I tried to use Word. This HTML code has been very well in all browsers, but again once, Muse is not a good enough program to read correctly and when this HTML code has been inserted in the Muse he seriously messed up a lot of formatting of the page. I've never been more grateful for a Cancel button.

    Also, I watched about three dozen sites this code creat HTML for tables, but none of them helped me to format my table with the cell size, colors and borders I want. But if you make just a very simple table, it might be a better choice than Muse.

  • 100% width problem

    my site is for my real estate business. the site that I have right now is very basic (created in frontpage) and show my properties list, I have a simple table. as muse does not support the creation of tables, that I had a thought to use widget accordion piled on accordion widgets.the reason why I use not just a widget and numerous inserts of data in a widget is because it does not show all at once, only one view at a time.

    so...

    I created the widgets with the data in a slide show of the property and it looks great, however I have each widget to a width of 100% and when I saw in the browser it populates only 3/4 of the screen

    Hello

    I'm afraid, the 100% width option does not work for nested widget and cannot be applied to the main widget which is placed directly on a page.

    You can have this added as a feature here request: ideas for features in Adobe Muse
