  New show with my Yoga 2-1050. No idea if this is a bug or a setting I find more hours of trying. Only since yesterday, the screen greyed out in two steps and white have something of a brownish hue now. No idea where it would not be in the settings, but I spent a few hours trying to find it and can't. My stuff Adaptive everything stops. Just before the screen fades, a little icon of a book with stars jumps to the top of the bottom, then the screen becomes dim. No option to click on it. I checked my document readers and none of them have an option for this. Only applications that disables what are the camera and Gallery, but at the point where I support out of them, the icon comes back, screen fades. What is the story here?   The little book you make refers to is the smart switch to Lenovo. It is controlled through settings or via the drop down menu on the main screen central. You can ignore it so that you can control brightness levels. When in mode auto, it is a bit erratic, but I find it seems to respond more to the position of the stand that the rotation of the screen.   I have some problems with my Lenovo Yoga 11 RT and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions:

  • When I connect my Lenovo Yoga 11 to my wifi at home, it shows the wifi signal strength to be excellent. This may not be the case, as on any other laptop and smartphone, the best it gets is poor.  At the same time it does not show other wifi networks of nearby apartments that any other laptop and smartphone can see in my room.
  • Every 20-30 minutes wifi disconnects.
  • Wifi speed is half that on my other laptop.
  • Once the Bluetooth is ON, wifi no longer works and cannot connect to any network.

  Personally, I think it's a software problem, rather than a hardware problem. All updates are installed. I tried to reinstall Windows RT 3 times already. Still having the same problem.

  Hi Sofia,

  I understand the frustration when things don't work as expected.

  If you are unable to boot to the desktop and have a Windows 8 install disc, then I suggest you to start your computer from the disc and open the command prompt in Windows recovery environment.

• Touchpad Lenovo Yoga 13 disappears after add another language pack

  The touchpad was function properly on my new Lenovo Yoga 13 in laptop mode and in tablet mode.

  After adding the second language the touchpad works in two modes.

  After close the LED screen then open the LED, touch keyboard only works in portable mode. Mode touchpad when a text box or call the touchpad of the desktop bar directly task, the keyboard appears and then disappears.

  After restarting the PC, in both modes the touch keyboard appears then disappers.

  There is no way to upgrade the graphic subsystem on your machine. The Intel HD 520 is integrated into the chipset package. Although some laptops have discrete graphics chips, almost none don't have been socketed. They are welded in place.

  Yestarday I was using my laptop with several open applications and video 1 outputs call active.

  Well, the CPU has decided to freeze to 0.5 GHz due to the heat produced. Of course, the laptop became unusable, so I closed and restarted the system. Once the reboot is finished, I noticed that the frequency was still at 0.5 GHz. So I ran a Ubuntu live usb, and I checked the CPU: once again, always at the 0.5 GHz. I came back to 10 Windows, I did some research and I used ThrottleStop. I checked the BD Prochot and then the laptop came back to life with 2.9 GHz frequency (for the sake of accuracy, it works even without turning on butterfly stop... you just launch the app and uncheck the prochot).

  Now, the problem is that I can use the laptop with all his abilities that I run butterfly stop. In all other cases, even when I start my laptop, the frequency is 0.5 GHz (and you understand that it works at low frequency because it lags a lot). Study a little, I found that only the replacement motherboard can really solve this problem...? What do you think? Do you have a any solution?

  Update: after reading several reviews of users having the same problem with the other model of laptop Yoga I tried a switch forced out of the laptop by the power button... Well... it seems to work. Now the multiplier is not more frozen and the Prochot is set on no.

  All processors are compatible x86_64, so the only limitation is looking for drivers. Have you tried just to install the OS?

  * Edit * missed a detail on the thread that you had linked. The Yoga 11 was a Windows RT device and not a device Windows x86_64. Your 11 s Yoga is a completely different architecture and must be running Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 32 bit without problems. You need locate if device drivers.

  After I call to Lenovo support and I request more information... answer is I can change my RAM and my drive hard without void the warranty, but if when I do I damage other parts for laptop (Eg. Motherboard, battery, etc.) the guarantee doen't cover damage by me in the process of replacement of parts.

  I buy a new Lenovo about a week ago and next week I update hard drive and RAM.
