Tablet Lenovo toga 2 will not "install windows" after refresh

I had a yoga Tablet Lenovo 2 for Christmas and it worked fine for the first couple months, but in February he started working slowly and the system recommended an update where it I wouldn't erase my photos, videos or music. So I refreshed it, then it has restarted, he turned on to the LENOVO screen and says "Welcome". Then he said "put in place more than a few things" with a percentage going up. When he reached 100% a window comes up saying "windows cannot complete the installation. to install windows on this computer, run the Setup again. "And I did it, but he still continues to do so. It loads, I tried to maintain the restart button, but nothing happens. I looked online for the same problem, but found nothing. All solutions?

Thank you

Sofia G.

Hi Sofia,

I understand the frustration when things don't work as expected.

If you are unable to boot to the desktop and have a Windows 8 install disc, then I suggest you to start your computer from the disc and open the command prompt in Windows recovery environment.

Please check the suggestions by Reda Singh from the link below and see if it helps.

  • 17 - e049wm will not install Windows 8 Pro

So I got this machine of killer, upgraded to a new SSD and tried to install windows 8 PRO. Windows loaded fine, but it only installed Windows 8 regularly.

Now here's the base line. Ive tried to install 5 different times, all with the same result.

    1: install boot disk

    2nd: post installation upgrade

3rd: enabled Legacy support in the BIOS and I tried the new facility

4th:upgrade post install with active legacy

5th: disabled Legacy and set up fees.

Another weird, that I should mention is the fact that he never ask me in setting up my license key. As soon as I check my activation it says that windows is activated, the product ID that ends in AAOEM.

If this machine, wise, the bios is processing my drive of retail as an OEM disc and pre activating Windows 8 PRO, yet do not allow me to install the professional edition. I tried 2 Windows 8 PRO 64 bit retail of different disks without success.

Even so much as ive tried the link "Get more features with a new edition of windows" and provided BOTH of my keys not activated without success, since it is reg 8 Win which installs

  • Vista Home Premium 64-bit: Side-by-side configuration incorrect, C++ Redistributable is not installed, programs will not install, Windows Update will not work.

Greetings!  Please read this and thank you in advance for your help.

A few months ago, I started to receive Windows Update errors, indicating that my Windows platform could not update itself.  Soon after, I started getting errors about C++ Redistributable does not install correctly.  It wasn't a huge problem for a while, and I managed to work around it.  However, my antivirus program is dead, and I'm unable to install a new.  When I try to install programs now, I get the error "side-by-side configuration is incorrect."  I would like to delete the manifest and try to reinstall the application, but I don't know where they are.  At least, it would be a start.  In any case, I am currently without virus protection.  Help!

So far, I tried to uninstall the Windows updates, but I only managed to install the MS Office updates.  I have even office, although I understand that it is built into the operating system of our days.  I tried many different patches of a lot of different forums and nothing seems to work.  I would like to reinstall the OS, but I bought OEM (from Newegg) and do not have the disc.  I don't even have an easy backup, or even one that I know is 'good'.

Thanks again for your time and effort.  They are appreciated more than you can imagine.

Why you didn't say what you did before?

Borrow a Vista DVD and don't reinstall Option I gave you.

Or borrow a disc and do a repair installation; It's your call.

  • Updates will not install, Apps will not install Windows 8 error Code: 0x8020002e

We have 3 Machines, we're the United States (S7 computer laptop from Acer) and 2 other desktop

None of them are able to install windows updates, or install apps on the Store.
    I did a clean install.
Created only a user MS (Hotmail) account
Stop the Windows update service, deleted the files from windows update, reactivated the service and tried again. (still no 0x8020002e)
Disabled the WSUS service on the server. And I tried to install each update manually.
Changed in the locale and updating the time.
Uninstalled all anti-virus and activated the default firewall.
Ran sfc/scannow (even after complete reinstallation of Windows 8)
Everything ran as administrator, but the updates and app downloads all fail.
Also, met with MS support guys that they connected remotely with Support.me, and haven't found anything.

This is not a solution for everyone in general - but we found that the problem was related to the Cyberoam firewall unit was actually blocking traffic to the store - once he was removed from the internet packets audit exceeded the updates.

  • victory 8 keyboard will not autoresize windows after rejecting previous size/height.

Hi, I am on a Tablet 8 victory and when using IE, or any program the keyboard comesup, shortens the window frame, but to reject, it will not do the back window to what I got. I end up manually drag each window of the Explorer down whenever I dismiss the keyboard. Please forgive my grammar mistakes I'm tryingto use of the keyboard at the moment and there is no automatic correction. Also it doen't scroll so that you can see what you type on the first square.

Maybe it would behave if I was on the subway, but I'm not going to use this mode. You can still download apps from sourceforge that is sweet, I can work on the road, unlike other devices...

Can I put windows back where they were when I dismiss the keyboard?

  • Laptop will not reinstall windows after the factory system recovery

So I have a laptop HP which is relatively new. I recently acquired the Virus 2010 Vista AntiVirus Pro. When the malware and spyware could not fix the problem, I decided to do a system restore, which would put the computer to the way it was when I bought it. I backed up the files and do the system recovery. He filled the recovery then said it will re-start to reinstall windows and complete the process.

After the restart as it gets and error that says: "the computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error." Windows Setup cannot continue. To install Windows, click "ok" to restart the computer, and then restart the installation. »

The only option is to click on 'ok', but after clicking it he is trying to reboot once again and the same error comes back. We tried to manually close the laptop and restart, but we always get the same error. I can get the start menu when the information system and the recovery is but to the past is just the mistake. Any suggestions on how to fix it? I don't know what else to do.

    Help!

Can you please try to install Adobe Application Manager of http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4774.

If this does not work then the safest course would be to remove all Adobe Creative Software using the uninstaller programs located in Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers.  This should then remove the Adobe Application Manager folder also within public services.  Once the software is completely uninstalled and Adobe Application Manager is deleted, then you should be able to reinstall it from https://creative.adobe.com/.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8615: driver will not install windows 10

Upgrade to Windows 10 windows 8.1.  Printer worked fine for a while.  The 8/30 began to have problems with printing.  Since then, have run print and scan doctor, installation software and follow all the steps detailed on the support site several times but nothing has fixed the problem.  Indeed, after you uninstall as recommended during this process, the pilot don't reinstall it not. I tried to run the full driver package, the base driver package and method of windows driver.  It is very frustarting.  I've exhausted all possible solutions on the support site.  I need to know what to look for and the steps needed to install this driver properly and restore the ability to print.  Please help before I think it necessary to change Epson or Lexmark.

Thanks for getting back to me. Knowing that the printer will install properly on a another computer told us there is probably something on the current PC is blocking the installation of installation (the printer itself is fine). Alternatively, you can try to disable the firewall or security programs you have temporarily while you try to install the printer on the computer to see if this will allow to complete the installation.

Just to add: make sure that the printer is on the same network as the PC you install it on. Find the printers IP address in the menu wireless printers and type the IP address in a web browser on your PC. You should be able to access the built-in web server printers if the printer and PC are on the same network.

Here are some steps more to try it too:

    Step 1: Uninstall the device:

Just because it is possible that a part of the software package and the pilot has made its way on your computer, I have to you find and remove the installation of the computer files.

    1. Click on the Start menu
    2. Click on all programs
    3. Select the HP folder
    4. Select HP Officejet
    5. Select Uninstall
    6. Click on the Start menu
    7. Select the devices and printers
    8. Click on any device once in the file devices and printers just to highlight. Then click on the print server properties at the top of the window

    9. click on the drivers tab

    10. click on your driver HP Officejet

    11 select Remove downstairs

    12. in the window Remove Driver and package click delete the driver only , and then select OK

13 click on apply then OK in the print server properties window

    14. close devices and printers

Please proceed to the next step.

Step 2: Unlock hidden system administrator account:

    1. Click on the Start menu and in the box "search programs and files", type CMD
    2. CMD will fill as a search above, option just right click on it and "run as administrator"
    3. CMD (command prompt) opens, type net user administrator / Active: Yes and press enter

    on your keyboard
  • Next, close CMD, then restart your computer
  • When your computer is on the newspaper in the new account which should show. It will be called administrator , and you have a password on it.
  • If your computer automatically connects to your account after reboot to go into your Start menu, click the arrow next to 'shutdown' and choose 'switch user'. Now log in the administrator account.
  • Under the administrator account, please click here to download the package full feature software and driver of your printer.
  • Once the download is complete, follow the instructions on the screen to install your printer
  • Once installation is complete, please open the HP Solution Center software to confirm the scan software opens and works correctly
  • If software HP Solution Center now works very well, please log out of the account administrator and return to your normal user account.
  • Under your user account, the full-function software package and the printer driver must show completely installed. Please click on the HP Solution Center icon to confirm if it always opens correctly. If HP Solution Center opens very well please run a test scan to confirm functionality.
  • If the HP Solution Center software works very well, you need to hide the administrator account.

Step 3: Hide the system administrator account:

    1. Go to your Start menu and in the box "search programs and files", type CMD
    2. CMD will fill as a search above, option just right click on it and "run as administrator"
    3. CMD (command prompt) opens, type net user administrator / active: No. and press enter
    4. Next, close CMD, then restart your computer
    5. When your computer turns on it please test the software HP Solution Center again to confirm that everything works again according to normal.

Let me know the results of these steps, good luck!

  • Drive HARD Satellite A205 S5803 failure possible. It will not install Windows.

Well. It's months now since my broken laptop. A few DAYS after my warranty missed. No one has been able to help me and this problem happens so many I can't even count. This model of laptop is not a good idea to buy. It all started with Windows not start. He would charge the Toshiba/Phoenix logo, then Windows bar loads, then nothing.

Just a black screen. I could recover my files getting Puppy Linux and transfer my files from my hard drive to my external 500 GB hard drive that I decided to buy last night because I have a feeling that this will keep going if I continue to buy Toshiba. Nothing was wrong with my files, but I have a strong feeling my hard drive or some sort of material important died.

So I try first to do a startup repair, because it should work humble? Well, he sat for 24 hours and did not a thing.
So I thought OK fine I'll just reinstall the OS, I already had my backup files. I put the disc, go to Toshiba Recovery Wizard, say to delete all start again and reinstall my OS, and he tells me "failed to create Partition. Error 08 - 0 74-0000. »

That's when I KNOW its something wrong with the hardware. I have nothing to do that.

I didn't delete a file and it tells me this. Anyone has any ideas until I throw this thing away?

The message indicates that the partition could not be created on the HARD drive.
I put t know why but I remember that I had similar problem with my other cell phone from another manufacturer.

I couldn't run the recovery by using the supplied floppy.
Finally, I formatted my HARD drive using the Microsoft Windows XP disk and deleted all partitions from the HARD disk also.
I then used the recovery again disc and the installation went well.

Maybe you could try that too.
Try to format the HARD drive using a disc like Win XP.

    Maybe the latter won't work

  • Plugin Flash will not install even after installing the latest version of Flash

When I go to a site that contains Flash content, it says "a plugin is required to view this content" and there is a link to install the plugin. In addition, there is a message at the top of the page that says "additional plugins are required to display all the media on this page" with an option to "Install missing Plugins". I click on the link to install the missing plugin, and a dialog box appears that says "the following plugins are available: ' and 'Adobe Flash Player 11.0.1.152' lists with a checkbox next to it. The box is checked, and I click on 'Next' to install. He's going through the motions and then told me that 'no plugins were installed. There is a link to manually install the plugin, which brings me to the Adobe's Flash download page. I unchecked the box for pair McAfee Security download and downloaded the latest version of Flash (to be honest, I downloaded actually this exact version even about 10 times today). The dialog box appears, I save the file and once it has downloaded, open the folder that contains (my downloads folder). I then, close all programs (including Firefox) except for the folder of Windows Explorer I want to run the installer from. I double-click the Flash Installer to perform the installation. The installation process is complete, the installer tells me that the download is successful, and my browser opens upward with a message "Successful Installation" from the Adobe Web site. Yay! My installation is successful... Orrrrrr not. Return to the page with the Flash media - always have a message saying that I need the plugin. Try to download plugin once again... no dice.

THEN, I go to "Manage my Add-ons" thinking maybe I need to activate the plugin. There is no plugin Flash (or Shockwave) listed on any of the menus - it is as if it does not exist.

I downloaded the latest version of Java because I read somewhere that Flash requires Java work; I installed the "add-on Compatibility Reporter" so I could force Java to be enabled. It made no difference whatsoever, best I can tell.

I also went to the Adobe homepage where you can see what version of Flash you use (http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/) and it does not even show that I have installed Flash. In Internet Explorer, it shows that I have installed Flash, but it's the previous version (but this is probably due to the fact that I downloaded Flash in Mozilla, not IE, and they use different modes in each browser - so an update that you download from a browser does not necessarily apply to the other browser).

So in summary: I don't know what on Earth is wrong here, but I'm about as frustrated that I've never been in my life. I don't know why the installation of Adobe Flash is said she is successful (it sleeps for me?), but there is no plugin appear in my menu manage add-ons, and I googled all the possible combinations of content in this message and have not found a solution that works yet.

It seems that you have found the 64-bit version of Flash. Is your Windows 7 64-bit?

I did read your entire post, but NPSWF64_11_1_102.dll which is Flash 64-bit; This turns into a novel when it should have been a short story.

First, uninstall all Flash your system by following these instructions from Adobe

Second, get the 32-bit versions of the following. Why? Unless you use an unofficial Firefox 64-bit version, the regular Firefox is a 32-bit browser and needs 32-bit Flash.

Third, test Flash on websites where you had a problem before.

If this does not work, my last suggestion for you is to follow the instructions from Adobe for troubleshooting. I don't know what's happening with your system, which could possibly be the cause of the problem.

If this answer solved your problem, please click 'Solved It' next to this response when connected to the forum.
