TeamViewer - I got a call that said their service was free and that they could get rid of my virus
I had a similar appeal to those mentioned, re: Teamviewer. They told me it was free and they could get rid of my virus. I don't give them any personal information, i.e. the bank details but when they spoke to me through them had my details my ID and password (4-digit numbers) on teamviewer window. Can they still have access to my computer or any informationnow they have these details?
Please read the following:

Team Viewer is a legitimate program used by scammers. If it is still installed on your computer, you can also uninstall.

I have a program called automotive service, it shows no source and I can't remove it, I suspect a problem
The only results of a Google search for "Autocare" to bring up links to a legitimate program called Autocare, apparently to have something to do with the car maintenance. Without knowing more about your computer and find out where you see the program what exactly 'impossible to remove that' means (have you uninstall it? it is even installed?), all I can say, is that you perform the fundamental step to ensure that your computer is free of viruses/malware first:

If you can't do the work yourself (and there is no shame in admitting this isn't your cup of tea), take the machine to a professional computer repair shop (not your local equivalent of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad). If possible, have all your data backed up before taking the machine into a shop. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

I have been scammed by Mindbrix last week, and this community let me know... Thank you! Is it possible that they could have installed some sort of malicious software on my Macbook Pro X or am I protected? My computer works normally at this stage.
Is it possible that they could have installed some sort of malicious software on my Macbook Pro X or am I protected?
If you don't give them access to your computer or download something on their request, you should be fine. If you allow them access or downloaded something, you must erase and reformat your hard drive, then restore your computer from a backup taken before when you allowed them access. Change your passwords and other critical information also. Not sure what software have been installed. If necessary, contact your bank to make opposition and cancel your credit card.

OK so I started my pc which is running xp, everything was normal until my desktop picture turned blue. Then a program called MS Removal tool began to run a program by saying that it was scanned, I closed this program and I discovered that I couldn't open some programs to try to get rid of this virus as the Task Manager, avg antivirus, malware antibytes, I can't even access on my pc or files on my pc programs some of them will not even open. Any help please.
Restart your PC and press F8 key several times and chose the mode safe mode with networking.
From there try to connect on:

Thank you.
Hi Jeff,
1 did you recent hardware or changes to the software of the system?
2. is it that occur when you use any specific application?
Step 1:
You can try to perform a cleanboot State and check if the problem occurs.
A clean boot to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.
You can read the following article to put the computer in a clean boot:
How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7
After the troubleshooting steps, please refer to clean the boot link to put the computer to normal startup mode.
Step 2:
You can also read the following article to download the Microsoft Safety Scanner and perform a full scan on your computer.
Note: When you perform the analysis, there are chances of losing the data that you can take a backup of important data before performing analysis.
Hope this information is useful.

I am a user of PS (CS6) for a long time and come to THE (CC). I placed a vector image purchased from Amnesty International and the need to get rid of the white background... make transparent but have no idea how to do that. I tried to do in PS and then save and carry firearms but cannot save to the PS as a vector file (or AI) and the quality is greatly reduced. How can I do this in artificial intelligence?
Are you sure that it is a vector file?
If Yes: embed him then comes white and select Remove.
If not: Photoshop lets you remove white.

* Original title: scam or not
I received a call from a woman saying that she was with the ICC with Windows service provider and they received my computer error messages and I wouldn't be able to help me solve it. I asked for a number of 800-373-4609 because he came unknown on my phone.
I wanted to open my computer. I told her I would call her back.
Is it a scam?
(Moved from P & M)
Yes, it's a scam. When someone calls and says they need to talk to you about 'mistakes' in your computer, simply hang up. I just had one of these calls myself about 15 minutes ago.

I've got something that says it's "XP Internet Security 2012 Alert and also Firewall alert". It won't let me take my Internet and says the programs I'm trying to get to pose a security risk — software malware, worms, Trojans, hackers etc... It does not interfere with things like my Microsoft Works or photographs, just at the moment where I'm trying to go up on my browser. I have no idea how to get rid of him, he wants me to buy a product that I didn't need and I really get annoyed because I rely on my computer for many things. Anyone know what I can do?
First of all, the program asks you to purchase their product is a scam - it's actually the problem and a form of malware.
Rogue Security Software | False Virus Alerts. Scareware:
http://www.Microsoft.com/security/PC-security/antivirus-rogue.aspxThe two programs are probably tied or one-in-the-same problem, see
How to remove XP Internet Security 2012?
How to remove System Security Firewall Alert?
Then you will need to run a full scan with your programs anti-virus and anti-spyware to ensure that you have been able to remove the malicious software and you have no other. I would also say to running analyses by the following:
Microsoft safety scanner
http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspxMalwarebytes
http://www.Malwarebytes.org/SUPERAntiSpyware
http://www.SUPERAntiSpyware.com/Microsoft Safety Scanner is a free tool to scan on demand and ends 10 days after it is downloaded.
Malwarebytes and SUPERAntiSpyware are also free and are excellent tools for on-demand scan.
I hope this helps.

I ran all virus time and time again and cannot get rid of this e-mail worm that continues to move forward, what I can do now, stop using hotmail?
Hello
Why do you think you have an e-mail worm? If you can't name it?
If someone is Spoofing emails that appear to come from you then they probably never
had access to your e-mail account. Instead, they have either a copy of your contacts
list or just an email from you or one of you where you were one of the recipients. Those
could be gleaned either your computer, the computer of a friend, or hacking
any site or intercept an email on your behalf or to you (you may not be the main)
(beneficiary).Once they have this information there is nothing you can do to avoid that they don't
send usurped messages. Warn your friends that is happening and they
can be entitled to install rules such as parodies are treated as SPAM or JUNK
mail.I've even seen usurped by email that appears to be from a valid user name however
This name doesn't have an e-mail account on the mail system used in parody.
As SpiritX - AT - realmail.com may be a valid account, however, parody used
SpiritX - AT - wrongmail.com. The latter could still be considered an email address valid
SpiritX if it was allowed through JUNK and JUNK e-mail filtering. (The - AT - has been used
instead of so that those addresses would not be filtered by auto responses.
as if by magic.)============================================================
Proceed to a very thorough check for malware and then change your password by e-mail.
The reason why you want to do this is to make sure no more hacking your computer is
still in effect (if it has been hacked). You have changed the password once but I would
Change it again after these checks. It is possible for a person to send the email that 'seems' to be of your
account but that is not really - called "Spoofing." That means its 'Possible' emails
were not really you, although they may have your contact list. Have someone
who receives the e-mails to check the header to see where he is actually sent by and
NOT only the answer to the address. How to read the message headers

- This man said that it comes from windows and I have a virus and you have to pay to remove! I know it's a lie and paid no attention, but I expect some vulnerable people might do! How can I report to microsoft? Has anyone actually paid these merchant scam?
Thank you for getting back on this type of scam.
Yes, some vulnerable people indeed caught up.Microsoft has none of the unsolicited telephone calls to help you fix your computer
In this type of scam cybercriminals are calling you and claim to be of Support technique Microsoft. They offer help with your computer problems. Once scammers have earned your trust, they try to steal and damage your computer with malicious software, including viruses and spyware.
Although the law enforcement can trace phone numbers, often authors use pay telephones, disposable cell phones or stolen cellular phone numbers. It is better to avoid being scammed rather than try to repair the damage afterwards.
Treat all unsolicited sceptically telephone calls. Don't provide personal information.
If you receive an unsolicited call from someone who claims to be from Technical Support Microsoft, hang up. We do not have such calls.
If you think you might be a victim of fraud, you can report it.
