  Hello, I am very new to apex development, so this is probably a simple question.
  
  I created a procedure that uses PL/SQL to insert rows in a table. The PL/SQL work correctly when I have to hardcode values. But when I try to get the values of the form elements, the values are not inserted into the table.

  What is the right syntax? Is there anything else I need to do for the element or in the procedure to get the value of the element.

  I am new to oaf, so this may seem like a very novice question. I tried several things, but could not solve it.

  There is an advancedtable region in my page. The first column of the advanced table has been put to contain elements of binding while the rest of the columns are messagestyledtext. The advancedtable would be filled with a few details of the item with the first column is the item number. The requirement is to fill in the details of article on click in the item number which essentially appear as hyperlinks.

  I try to get the number of the first column.

  pageContext.getParameter ("itemnumber");    ['itemnumber' is the ID of the binding inside the column inside the advancedtable element]

  This returns null, so I can't get the item number. Can someone please help me solve this?

  As an alternative, you can add parameters, p_item_num to the PPR method with value in the form ${oa.current.ItemNumber} (if the number represents the VO attribute name)

  I tried something with the processing of the forms which doesn't seem to work. I wonder if the function really works or if I'm doing something wrong.

  Here is an example of what I do: I have a form that I want to use. I add "Web Page redirection" processing step to my form. When I click on the processing step to set up, under "General settings" there is an option that says "Choose how the launch of destination page is selected." In this drop-down menu, there are three options: always redirect to the same landing page, use a drop-down list to select the landing page and the value of a form field allows you to select the destination page. I have a hidden field on the form that contains the URL of the web page to which I would like to redirect. When I select 'Use the value of a form field to select the landing page', I select the hidden field to the field that contains the URL of the web page to which I want to redirect. It's my setup. However, when I submit the form, nothing happens, I do not redirect to the URL contained in the hidden field... This function still works? I'm doing something wrong? I can't seem to get the function "Use a drop-down list to select the destination page" to work either. The same thing happens when I try to use the "Add Contact to shared the list" processing step. I add the name of the list that is shared in the field hidden, but the contact does not appear in the shared list... These functions still work? If yes how do I configure them?

  Well, I understood the problem of the shared list... You must add the ID of the list shared in the hidden field. I had to use Firebug to see the real ID of the shared list. Once you have the ID, use you it as a static value in the field. If the HTML code of the form will look something like this:

  Why would user, you need to pass a value of the line to the shape?

  The framework selects the line you want to display in the form. All you have to do is to show the form with the selected line. It is the framework automatically as long as you use e vo even the same data control.

  I just wanted to know that my use case can be mounted to the contextual events or should I use the #{data.pageDef.Attribute.inputValue} to get the values.
  
  I have a stubborn taskflow 'ChildTF.xml' with the fragment to say "child.jsff". Now I dragged the ChildTF.xml the other say 'Parent.jspx' page as a region. In the child.jsff page I had entered with 20 fields of form and all 20 fields are trained since a view object so I do not have the field values related to the managed Bean and on the parent 'Parent.jspx' page, I have a button.   I have a query SQL (editable report) region where I need to do validations using a process of OnDemand and javascript. For this posting, I need to use the serial number and id of this same report line item. The function is called when the serial number is changed. I can get the serial number easily because it is a text field, however, the item id is a standard report column (which actually a text field or hidden gives me a checksum error, long story). How can I get the value of the standard report column to set the value of an element of the Application to use in my process of application as well as the serial number? Here is my code below.
