Database trigger to get the value of Variable forms... How... ??

Hello

I have a global varibale in a form having a block of the base table. I created a trigger on the base table data after deletion/update, it will include all the updates/delete lines in the Table of Trail.

I want to insert this global variable (which is available in the form) in the Trail Table as well as all other values of the record with the database trigger. But this global variable is available in the form not available in the database trigger. How to pass this variable to database trigger...

Help, please...
Thank you and best regards.

Hello

Package variables are specific session.

If user1 is
PAK_TEST.lv_user = 'user1'
In the other schema user2
PAK_TEST.lv_user will always be the null value.

Locking won't, if you commit records using the trigger.
Kind regards
Franck

    Hi all,
    I created messagestyled text programmatically and I want the value of viewAttribute.
    I don't know how to define the instance of the view and display attribute.

    I tried this way, it is what is called the vo class but after that i dnt know how to set

    Here the code that I used...

    (1) I create the messagestyled text
    OAFormattedTextBean cctextbean = (OAFormattedTextBean) pageContext.getWebBeanFactory () .createWebBean (pageContext, FORMATTED_TEXT_BEAN, OAWebBeanConstants.VARCHAR2_DATATYPE, "CCText");

    OAMessageStyledTextBean ccidbean = (OAMessageStyledTextBean) pageContext.getWebBeanFactory () .createWebBean (pageContext, MESSAGE_STYLED_TEXT_BEAN, OAWebBeanConstants.VARCHAR2_DATATYPE, "CCId");

    (2) and I called the view object
    OAViewObject ccview = (OAViewObject) AM.findViewObject ("CmpnyDetVO1");

    (3) I want to set the view instance and viewattribute using code. This stage i dnt know how to define.

    (4) I want to know, how to get the value of the attribute to display and how to set the value to the messagestyled text field.

    Hello

    use
    Import oracle.jbo.Row;

    OAViewObject ccview = (OAViewObject) AM.findViewObject ("CmpnyDetVO1");
    Line line (Row) = ccview.first ();
    Test String = (String) row.getAttribute ("");

    then to set the value of the text of messagestyled

    OAMessageStyledTextBean bean = (OAMessageStyledTextBean) webBean.findindexedchildrecursive ("CCId");
    bean.setText (test);

  • Technique to get the value in a form parent

    So, which is good a deceit of form? Work on 11.1.2.3 I have a form where the settings are made for a salary for a unit of Lev0 account. I would like to see the total adjustments by watching a parent of units. Does anyone know how to do this? Maybe the parents can be pulled by a composite shape?

    Thank you!

    FA

    Maybe you can add a dynamic account that displays data for the Parent of the selected entity level.  Something like @PARENTVAL (Entity, Salary_Account) might help.

  • A small Question about getting the value of an element via a variable.

    Hello

    My database is 11 GR 2, form server 10g.

    I have a canvas named canvas14, there is a multi-onglet inside (tab1, tab2).

    In the "Key-Exit" trigger, I would get the name of the current tab and do something then exit_form.

    To get the name of the tab, I used a function as follows.

    FUNCTION getTabName RETURN varchar2 IS

    tp_nm VARCHAR2 (30);

    tp_ID TAB_PAGE;

    tp_lb VARCHAR2 (30);

    BEGIN

    tp_nm: = GET_CANVAS_PROPERTY ('CANVAS14', topmost_tab_page);

    tp_ID: = FIND_TAB_PAGE (tp_nm);

    tp_lb: = GET_TAB_PAGE_PROPERTY (tp_id, label);

    Return tp_lb;

    END;

    Key-release trigger, my share of the code follows.

    v_Name: = getTabName;

    v_item: = ':'. v_Name |'. the ';

    If v_item is not null then

    clear_form;

    on the other

    exit_form;

    end if;

    v_item is: tab1.des now. I want to get the value of: tab1.des.

    How to get the value of v_item, not the variable itself?

    Thanks in advance.

    Phil

    Use NAME_IN with the itemname without the colon as

    value: = NAME_IN ('tab1.des');

  • Cannot get the value of the session variable (using row wise initialization).

    Hi all

    I have a scenario where I'm trying to get the value of the variable session of two columns.

    Table of database consists of the name of USER, Country_Region, columns Country_SubRegion.

    For example: ChadraKanth, Americas, America West is the data.

    I wrote a Sql query in the block of session initialization:

    Select "CR", Country_Region, Country_SubRegion

    of row_wise_init

    where USERID = ": the USER"

    When I test the RPD code gives the result like this:

    CR WesternAmerica of Americas.

    In my report I have two columns, a region and an another subregion.

    When I try to filter with the session variable "CR" for the column region his error giving: session variable is not initialized with

    This is the default.

    Question:

    1. session variable is contains several values in the column?

    2. how to filter the report on columns of region and sub region?

    Please suggest me.

    Kind regards

    Chandra Khalil.

    Hello

    A session variable cannot store more than one column, 1 variable = 1 value (column 1), horizontal initialization allows to store several lines, multiple values in the same variable.

    If to a user, you have several lines with multiple values, you need horizontal initialization, but it cannot store in the variable the value of the region and subregion.

  • Get the value of the Variable text

    Hi all

    How to get the value of the Variable text. I want to check the value of variable text title in each page.

    Thank you and best regards,

    Robert S

    myText.textVariableInstances.everyItem (.resultText) would do it.

    The representation of a TextVariable on the page is a TextVariableInstance. They are objects of 'text' (parent may be: cell phone, change, note, Note, history, TextFrame, XmlStory). The "resultText" property is the string that the variable instance currently shows. See Adobe InDesign CS5 (7,0) object model JS: TextVariableInstance

  • Getting the value of the variable defined in the component cfg file in the Service Manager.

    Hello
    I have a component custome and I need to set a variable in the cfg of the component file and I need to access this variable in my personal (using java) service manager.
    Can someone tell me how to get the value of the variable in the Manager.

    The link should load now.

    The Basic code is:
    String value = SharedObjects.getEnvironmentValue ("variableName");

  • How to get the value of a variable to bind a client method of the AM?

    Hello

    I have a VO based on a variable binding. This binding variable is associated with an element on the page. When the user fills the element that the binding variable is written, the query is executed. This method works.
    What I want now is the following. With a second button, the user runs an exported AOS action method. In this method, I want to get the value of the binding variable that has been put forward.
    How would I do that?

    You can get the variables bind currently set on the object view as follows:
    catServiceDurationsVO has the reference to the VO
    VariableValueManager vm = null;
    VM = catServiceDurationsVO.ensureVariableManager ();
    System.out.println (VM.getVariableValue ("BindVariable"));

    Thank you

  • Get the value of the variable inside the function from the event (EventListener)

    How to get the value of the variable inside the function from the event. Variable has been declared as a function of external events.

    var StringVar="sample";

    myButton.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, myClickReaction);

    function myClickReaction (e:MouseEvent):void{
    StringVar="other sample";
    }

    trace(StringVar); /* it gives me "sample" value and i would get "other sample" value */

    This strange because if it would be the trace of a normal function would give me good result.

    var StringVar="sample";

    function myClickReaction():void{
    StringVar="other sample";
    }

    myClickReaction();
    trace(StringVar); /* it gives me result as i wanted to have - "other sample" value */

    I also know method of passing of arguments depending on the event, but it doesn't for me as I would like to

    var StringVar="sample";

    myButton.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, function(e:MouseEvent){ myClickReaction(e, StringVar) },false, 0, true);

    function myClickReaction (e:MouseEvent, StrVar:String):void{

    StrVar="other sample";
    }

    trace(StringVar); /* it also gives me "sample" value and i would get "other sample" value */

    How to do it correctly?

    I do not know the structure of your screen lists so I can't tell you how to access the variable, but you're on the right track. If it's a parent, then you can always use the .parent property to cross to the top the list display to try to access.

    for example 1 level:

    MovieClip (this.parent). StringVar = "another sample";

    Add more properties .parent to continue to move to the top of the list.

    for example:

    MovieClip (this.parent.parent). StringVar = "another sample";

    Just like always, use traces (MovieClip (this.parent). StringVar); until you get the value that you want to know that you're accessing them correctly.

  • How to get the value of OdiVariable in Java variable

    Hello

    is it possible to get the value of OdiVariable in variable Java please?

    Let me explain it please. I have variable ODI - I say #VAR1 (last alphanumeric default value: 0)
    In the ODI package (technology: Oracle) I want to branch code based on the value:

    < % if ('0'.equeal (#VAR1)) {% >}
    -Branch when #VAR1 is 0
    < %} else {% >}
    -Branch when #VAR1 is not equal to 0
    < %} % >

    This code does not work. I guess #VAR1 to 0 string substitution is done after java - meaning, java generates the code:
    -Branch when #VAR1 is not equal to 0
    and now the substitution is made.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you
    Antonin

    Hi Antonin,

    I would like to contribute a little,

    I never tried with Java I have at home and rely on Jython.

    Suppose that you have a 2 step process, in the first step of the procedure, you have found a few values using alternative methods,

    __________________________________________________________________________

    Step 1:

    Command on the Source:

    Technologies: Oracle

    Logical schema:

    Select <%=odiRef.getSession("SESS_NO")%> in the SESS_NO of the double

    Command on the target:

    Technology: Jython

    mySessNo = #SESS_NO

    __________________________________________________________________________

    Step 2:

    Command on the target

    Technology: Jython

    If mySessNo == 0:
    -Branch when mySessNo is 0
    Another thing:
    -Branch when mySessNo is not equal to 0

    __________________________________________________________________________

    Meaning of Makses?

    P.S: Substitute - with tab.

    Thank you

  • How to get the value of the embedded content Session Variables

    Hello world.

    I have the following requirement: I want to incorporate a web page of external non-Oracle-BI in my dashboard of Oracle BI. I need the Session Variables (for example NQ_SESSION. USER) to control my external web page. My question is how can I get the value of the Oracle's BI dashboard Session Variables.

    Thank you.

    Allen

    Have you used the narrative mode? The narrative point of view to add html customized to your report, using the values in the table view. @2 refers to the second column in your report, @3 to the third, etc.
    By using an iframe, you can open an external Web page and with @2, you can pass the value of the variable user to the external Web page.

    Kind regards

  • How to get the value of the global element using javascript or ajax!

    Hello!

    How can I read at global(point application created in the shared components) using ajax or javascript?
    You can imagine that I need to get the value of this element by function as:
    -----
    Function getText() {var itemVal = $x ('MY_GLOBAL_ITEM') .value;}  Return itemVal; }
    -----
    .. .but I can't do it because it is not made to couse of the page it is global element! so, anyone know no work around to do?
    I know that I can make point page and read the value of that, but not what I really need!
    If I have 100 pages and all pages need to use my function, it would take 100 Articles :) - that's why its no good average!

    Please, share your ideas!

    THX

    Rafix,

    You must use a little AJAX to retrieve a request element value. Three steps in this solution. Implementation of a callable JavaScript function, creating an application process on the request and call the JavaScript function with dynamic action.

    1 set up a JavaScript function that can be called by:

    This function calls the process of application level which has a visibility of the element of your application and then returns the value of points.

    Edit your page and JavaScript code according to the code in the 'function and Variable global statement' of your page. You can also add to the model page, that you use, but you also have to encapsulate this code in the script tags.

    getAppItem = function(pItemName){
        var get = new htmldb_Get(null,$v('pFlowId'),'APPLICATION_PROCESS=GET_APP_ITEM',$v('pStepId'));
        get.addParam('x01',pItemName);
        gReturn = get.get();
        get = null;
        return gReturn;
    }

    2. creating an application on request process:

    The application of level process has visibility to your application-level element. It is to retrieve the value of points and it prints the htp buffer. Essentially, this acts as a way to return the values of AJAX calls (the javascript function we set previously);

    go to the shared components > procedures > Create.

    Point process: "We Demand: run this application...". »
    Name: GET_APP_ITEM
    Type: Anonymous PL/SQL block

    declare
       -- get the item name passed into the JavaScript function.
       app_item_name varchar2(30) := apex_application.g_x01;
    begin
        -- print its value to the buffer
        htp.p(v(app_item_name));
    end;

    3. call the JavaScript function with dynamic action:

    The function call allows to specify an application-level element name and have its returned value. The trigger event is specific to what you need, but the action must be of type to run JavaScript code. In my case immediately the value of P1_NUMBER to my value of demand points. This code doesn't have to be in a dynamic action, but it helps to stay organized. you could call it from any script tag.

    $s('P1_NUMBER',getAppItem('MY_APP_ITEM'));

    See you soon,.

  • How to get the value in LIB in selection of LOV

    I have the designer generated form. Most of the logic is processed in Library.I do something about validation in £ QMS under Event_name = "key_commit." I have a LOV having the value 1. 2 current. unknown 3. recorded and coresponding parameter system CU, United Nations, RE respectively that return the value in the form field. Now, in the validation, I have to check if the status is 'current' and end_date don't thats not null then we should not allow to save the file and send the message. Keep in mind that I do in the library only if you guys tell me how I will get the value of LOV being selected and get it in / or provide library to comapare against the value of the system setting that is in the database
    -Check if there is an end date, but the status is still defined as 'current '.
    IF NAME_IN('RCBADG.) END_DATE ') IS NOT NULL THEN
    -Do the system_parameter_identifier for the entry labeled as "CURR.
    - AND the user set the value of the parameter (code for 'Current')
    Select parameter_value
    in v_par_value
    of system_parameters
    where cspara_identifier =(select identifier)
    of coded_system_parameters
    where code = 'CURR');
    -Get the identifier of status register coded for "CURR.
    Begin
    Select the identifier
    in v_crsta_id
    of coded_register_statuses
    where code = substr (v_par_value, 1, 4);
    EXCEPTION
    When no_data_found then
    v_crsta_id: = null;
    End;

    -Check if the status of "Current" is defined
    IF v_crsta_id = v_crsta_id1 then
    -v_crsta_id1 is drive where the value must be equal to system param 'CU' LOV selection
    QMS$ SHOW_MESSAGE('SSL-15008','E',TRUE);
    RAISE FORM_TRIGGER_FAILURE;
    ON THE OTHER
    null;
    END IF;
    END IF;

    I can only imagine that I have no idea what makes your library in detail.

    The event that you would get would be the WHEN-VALIDATE-RECORD (at least that's the trigger I would implement the logic).

    With respect to the verification of the value and the end date. I guess the Lov will return the value selected in some element in the block, then the comparison would be something like

    IF NAME_IN('RCBADG.END_DATE') IS NOT NULL THEN
      IF NAME_IN('RCBADG.THE_ITEM_WHERE_THE_LOV_VALUE_IS_TRANSFERED_TO')='CU' THEN
        -- Show some error here
        ERRoR
        RAISE FORM_TRIGGER_FAILURE;
      END IF;
    END IF;

  • How to get the value of a literal XML node content in BPEL 2.0?

    Hello!

    I have a problem creating A Expression in the distribution of the XML literal one activity, I would like to help me...

    Well, I have the same activity in the 1.0 version of BPEL and is now different is BPEL 2.0,.

    I have a Web Service < WSEjecutaComandos > when having a function of controls remote that connects,

    Entries of my Web Service: "int numEquipo, String [] comandos, int numCta, int publicar, int, String date version"

    The second argument is an array of string type...

    Now in my BPEL process, I do is the following assignment:

    ************************************************************

    < assign the name = "AssignCreaPath" >

    < copy >

    < from >

    < literal >

    " < fnCRexecElement xmlns =" http://Servicios/ ">

    < numEquipo > 2 < / numEquipo >

    < comandos >mkdir etl/entries/mmkis /< / comandos >

    < numCuenta > 1 < / numCuenta >

    < publicar > 0 < / publicar >

    < / fnCRexecElement >

    < / literal >

    < / from >

    < to > $InvokeClear_fnCRexec_InputVariable.parameters < /pour >

    < / copy >

    < copy >

    (< a >concat(ora:getContentAsString($InvokeClear_fnCRexec_InputVariable.parameters/comandos),$inputVariable.payload/client:fecha)< / from >

    < to >$InvokeClear_fnCRexec_InputVariable.parameters/comandos< /pour >

    < / copy >

    < copy >

    < a > $InvokeVersion_fnGetVersionProcesoByFecha_OutputVariable.parameters/version < / from >

    < to > $InvokeClear_fnCRexec_InputVariable.parameters/version < /pour >

    < / copy >

    < copy >

    < a > $inputVariable.payload / client: date < / from >

    < to > $InvokeClear_fnCRexec_InputVariable.parameters/date < /pour >

    < / copy >

    < / assign >

    ***************************************************

    Well the conflict I have is as follows,

    previously defined an entitlement with the XML Fragment copied on the payload to the Web Service (WSEjecutaComandos), input variable

    and the XML code is copied to each of the variables,

    Then him concatenating input values (I noted in red) < comandos > with the value of 'farm' (String), and once again copy Variable < comandos > and has not had any problems

    but now with the new BPEL 2.0, I do the same thing now using literal XML (this good!) but the option to concatenate (that I've noticed in red) and copied to the same variable ( I noticed blue ), I mark the following error message:

    Error1.png

    I should know, I am doing wrong, or you need to to XPath function as the value that they already have the variable < comandos > will concatenate date,

    and is the final value of my entry, my Web Service.

    must be defined as table of values of type < comandos [i] >

    define the following activities before $InvokeClear_fnCRexec_InputVariable.parameters/comandos [1],

    but it seems that this BPEL 2.0 does not respect me in the form of hooks index.

    Thank you...

    See you soon,.

    I found the solution to get the value of an xml element and it concatenated with another variable within a beneficiary.

    is:

    ORA: getNodeValue (ora:getChildElement($InvokeCreaPath_fnCRexec_InputVariable.parameters,2))

    first get the desire here in my tree xml element is position 2 < comandos=""> and then get the value of this node.

    See you soon,.
