Tecra M3 - No. WLan or LAn found after installing XP

After completely reinstalling Windows XP for clear-out viruses & Spyware, I no. Wireless Network Connection (Intel PRO / Wireless) or Local (Intel PRO 10/100) network connection.

I need to reload the drivers for the connection Wireless & Land?

Thank you

Hello

If you have installed Win XP again, then you will need to install the driver WLan and LAN too!
You should not have any yellow exclamation point in device-> network cards Manager.

But if yellow exclamation or an unknown device would be visible then it would mean that a driver (Lan or Wlan) is missing.

All the drivers are available on the European driver Toshiba page.

Good bye

    Hello

I think that the laptop supports the INTEL 802.11 B/G WLan card, but I'm not 100% sure on this subject...

In my opinion, you should try to identify the WLan module.
    How to do this?
In this case, the use of the PCI database should be very useful.

    Hello

I searched the internet for similar cases and it seems that this happens to more people using Win XP. It s is not serious what laptop you have looks like Win XP question with respect to certain wireless network cards
However, I ve had Win XP and Intel WLan card and never had such problems.

    Here's my recommendation;
-Go to the Device Manager and remove the WLan card in device list (press DELETE)
-Download CCLeaner (free tool) and clean the registry
-Visit Toshiba WLan portal and download the latest version of the driver for the wireless network card: http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/
-Restart the device and then install the driver Wlan card.

    Good luck

  • Tecra M7 unknown device after installing Win XP

    Hello

    I have a Tecra M7 Tablet PC.

After installing Windows XP Tablet PC edition and all the drivers for the Toshiba Homepage there are 3 s "unknown device" in Device Manager.

I installed the Ethernet drivers, but I do not see the adapter to the source 'network '.

What can I do to fix this?

    MFG pizzaMAN

Since I n don't know what you mean devices I can't provide you with any information on the necessary drivers

You're talking about Ethernet driver you are meaning the LAN or WLan?
Usually the two cards (Wlan & Lan) should appear in devices-> network cards Manager
If there is an unknown device then it would mean that one of the pilots was not installed.

On the European driver Toshiba page, you will find two Intel LAN drivers.
    Check both!

I put t know what your laptop wireless network card is because the Tecra M7 has been equipped with various wireless network cards, but all the drivers (Intel, Atheros) are placed on the page and you should try it!

    I tried the things:

    System reset
    Reinstalling the driver

    but nothing has worked.

    Hello!

I put t know what is the reason for this BSOD when installing, but you can post the BSOD code? For example, you can search based on Microsoft Knowledge for this code.

In addition, I would try to update the BIOS of your laptop that you can find on the Toshiba site:

After you have updated the BIOS to try to update the WLAN and LAN card driver, or try to reinstall Windows using the Toshiba recovery disc.

    Hi guys

All the XP drivers are available on the European driver Toshiba page.

All XP drivers work. If your driver audio or any other device don t work after installing the driver or if the diver cannot be installed, and then you use a bad driver.
Please note that Toshiba laptops could be delivered with different devices and therefore different drivers have been published
