Tecra Z50-A-130 - LAN over WLAN connection

My Tecra Z50-A-130 with Windows 7 Professional prefer a WLAN connection over a LAN connection.

When I have a LAN connection available I prefer the LAN connection (speed is better), but my laptop auto activates the WIFI connection.

Is it possible that my laptop active automatic connection of the local network when available, prefer it over the wireless LAN?

Why you n t turn off WiFi if your laptop is connected to the local network?

However, usually Windows controls this connection automatically to change this, you will need to change the priority.

1 click Start, in the search field, type view network connections.
2 press the ALT key, click Advanced Options, and then click Advanced settings...
3 select Local area connection and click the green arrows to give priority to the desired connection.
4 after organizing network connections available according to your preferences, click OK.
5 the computer will now follow an order of priority when the detection of the available connections.

    Hello

I don t think you will be able to connect two external monitors to this laptop using HDMI and RGB port at the same time because of different types of signals.

The RGB/VGA port supports analog signal.

The HDMI port provides the digital video output and when the external monitor is connected to the HDMI port the device is set to HDMI.

    Hi Luka

I presume that you didn t have such problems in the past, the right? When you use WLAN on some other router (friend) have you noticed the same freezing problem?

On this virtual path, it is not easy to say what may be the problem. You must study it a bit. If you use the right original preinstalled OS and tested WLAN driver is installed. What you can try is to install the latest version of http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/

Check it please all WLAN settings. Try to test the protection of WLAN WLAN connectivity. Restart your router. Play with it to see if there is some difference.

Be so kind and post comments.

the driver which can be downloaded is over 1 year (http://support1.toshiba-tro.de/tedd-...0410120234.zip) and not as described in the notification.

  • Tecra Z50 - mSATA SDS + 2.5 "HDD?

    Hallo!

I've seen in a Youtube video, that the SSD that come as standard are mSATA those and that there is space for a 2.5 drive "under.

So my question is: if I buy a Toshiba Tecra Z50-A-12R, which comes with a 500 GB HARD drive, can I install an additional mSATA SSD as my system disk and using the 500 GB HARD drive as a second drive?

    Thank you
    Martin

Well, some models are equipped with an mSATA Solid State Drive (SSD) instead of one
hard disk drive. The computer seems to supports a 128 GB and 512 GB disk SSD 256Go

but as far as I know there is only a single SATA controller to connect a HARD drive or SSD.
The mSATA SSD drive is connected to the controller using mSATA HOLDER ASSY.

So this cpl carrier is necessary if you want to use an mSATA SSD.
Of course, you n t need if you use common disk 2.5 SSD or HDD 2.5

My new Toshiba Tecra Z50-to-17 t constantly crashes on shutdown.

At first I thought that it could connect to the Cisco all lie, as it appeared in the event viewer several times.
After I deleted it went well for a while, but now the problem occurred again, but this time there is nothing to see in the event viewer.

Can someone help me what is wrong and how can I fix it myself?

    Hi friendly smirou

The laptop has been preloaded with Win 7 64 bit system.
I guess that you are still using this system, I would recommend you to repair the system using the windows have auto repair function.

Start Notepad, and then press F8.
Now you should be able to access the Advanced menu.
Here, you can choose between different options.

You can choose the last known good configuration option.
You can also choose the first option to fix your computer, which will open the next window, where you can access the Startup Repair feature.
There, you might choose the Startup Repair option

Otherwise, it would be desirable to recover the computer laptop back to settings factory just to check if its a system single or maybe hardware problem related question

What happens if you press the function key (Fn + F5) to change the display output? This combination activates the external monitor again?

    Hello

    You solved this problem?
Could you install system 8.1 Windows on this SSD drive?

I think that the installation of additional drivers during the setting procedure isn't necessary since Win 8.1 should already contain pilots essential.
From my point of view of the few, there could be a compatibility issue (maybe the SSD firmware update could solve that problem).

What another SSD disk usage? You have the same problem with other SSDS from other manufacturers?

    Your comments would be appreciated.

  • Satellite C55T: Win 7 does not recognize the card, LAN and WLan

    I have a problem.

I ve downgraded my Toshiba Satellite A5222 C55T for Windows 7 64 bit and it does not have many pilots.
Windows does not recognize my network connection and it didn't install my wireless driver.

Maybe I need a chipset driver, but I found no drivers for windows 7.

    Please help me!

If Windows 7 has not recognized the LAN and WLan card, you have not installed the proper drivers.

A5222 C55T satellite is the portable American model.
The drivers can be downloaded from the Toshiba help page we: [Satellite C55T-A5222 | http://support.toshiba.com/support/modelHome?freeText=1200005866]

Choose here the drivers / updates & filter by Windows 7 64 bit (left)

  • Satellite Pro L550 - Realtek RTL8191SE Wlan connection issues

    Hello

Affected by a big problem with my WLAN connection which is ongoing for about a month.
I have problems with a very inconsistent connection.

To start, turn on the laptop of its climate 50-50 I'll successfully connect to my internet. Once connected I constantly disconnect and reconnect, never reached a point of stability, as long as possible without hitch is about 30 minutes, and after this point it will repeat the process above in one or two minutes, making it impossible internet usage.

After following various checks, I can confirm that this is NOT a router problem:

-Several other devices around the home connect without the same problem
-Have you tried the reset and restarted both modem and router without result
-Used new Ethernet cables and checked the other son of bends or damage
-Tried to change the frequency of router and the channel for better connectivity with no result
-Tried to change the location of the router, the closest pass to the laptop for a greater power of the signal without any positive results

Whenever he logs off, I go through a laborious task repetitive troubleshooting and although sometimes it solves the problem, so that it does only temporarily.

Updates on computer and controls are as follows:

-Install the latest drivers for my network card
-The latest version of the BIOS for my laptop
-J' tried UN-installing software and remove driver in Device Manager in the case of a corrupted driver, after re-booting works temporarily and then breaks down in the first 5 minutes
-Tried using windows troubleshooting, which sometimes displays a message on my gateway by default, I don't know what that means well as
-Tried to use other means of verification, connectivity doctor etc., no results
    -Tried to reset network cards
-Tried to use an earlier version of the network card to check if the new drivers were the problem - no result
-Tried resetting IP addresses IP conflict with other devices in the House, no results
    -Played hundreds of reboots

I would like to point out that when using the LAN on my laptop my connection is quite well and I have the experience without interruption, I have also contacted my ISP to ask if there is ongoing network maintenance tasks and check if the internet I receive is consistent.

    Computer laptop specifications: -.

    Toshiba Satellite Pro L550
    Network card: Realtek RTL8191SE
    OS: Windows 7 x32bit

The whole process is infuriating and I am at my wits end as to what to do, is, fuck my network card?

    NB:

This could be a problem as the dust inside my computer laptop on the map, causing interference?
The problem is much more prolific when I use Skype - might be a bandwidth issue?

Open to the suggestions of many, and any help will be appreciated.

    Thank you.

And all this occur with clean Windows 7 preinstalled that you got with your laptop (factory settings)?

  • Satellite A110-378 loses the WLan connection during downloads of big

    Hi all
I have a Toshiba Satellite A110-378 series and a wireless network problem. The card is an Intel 3945abg. I can connect with the router ADSL (USR9106) with WPA security is enabled. I can navigate on the Internet, but for a large download (or shall file a copy) the connection stop responding. Windows still displays the connection, but after a few minutes I got an error message.

To re - establish it, I need to 'fix' the connection. The driver is the latest in Intel, and I tried to disable the power settings. Seems that the problem is the same with my ethernet card (I'm the check).

    Any ideas?
    Thank you very much.
    Alessandro

    Hi Alex

In my opinion, there is always possibility of losing the motivations and download WLAN connectivity more I prefer the LAN connection (sometimes runs during the night). Check this with connection to the local network, but perhaps is another side responsible for the interruption of the download.
