• Qosmio F55-Q504 drivers for Windows XP

  Hello everyone,

  Help, please. I have three questions:
  1 may be someone has already encountered problems with the drivers for XP for F55. I bought F55 with Vista, installed XP but I found the drivers for the WiFi and nVidia only and I was not able to find drivers for other devices unfortunately.   I have a Qosmio F50-108 and I lowered the from VISTA to XP. Given that our computers cell phones are essentially the same, I'll tell you what I used.

  Video: I use custom of the Dox 180.70 drivers downloaded from www.laptopvideo2go.com (http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=21982). I think that these drivers are OK (the temperature is normal as some other versions have been causing an increase in temp 5-7 degree Celsius).

  AS for MODEM AND CARDBUS CONTROLLER (JMB 38 x)... I did not find the drivers for XP but... I downloaded the VISTA32 versions (in both cases I did the same thing) and I took only the driver. In the case of cardbus controlled the main file (unzip after) I took only the DRIVER file / X 32 and from the Device Manager, I forced an update of the driver of this folder and it worked :)
  Pretty much the same for the modem.

  One device is unknown, I think it's the NVIDIA HDMI audio driver in VISTA. Unfortunately I couldn't solve it. And I also miss the program that makes the touch buttons work. Seems that there is no equivalent for XP. In regards to the Config Free program tries to use an XP version of the program that is made for A Satellite notebook PC series. For me it worked.

  Please understand that mobile technology is completely different Office of PC technology and motherboards are all just different.
  Upgrading the CPU's especially not possible or very risky for other reasons.

  A main reason could be overheating; as you know the stronger CPU would produce more heat and this could lead to a higher temperature and finally to overheating...

  In addition you BIOS was not configured for other processors so it possible s that your laptop does not start after such update!

  I had (Qosmio G40-108 with 4 GB of RAM) since August 2007. Everything was fine until two weeks about where it kept crashing during the execution of a couple normal progs that I use.
  After reading several messages from buddies with similar problems, I think it might be the PCI express graphics. Is this good? I can swap out? Or advice, blaggs, ideas or suggestions are very welcome. :)

  If the DVD player is replaced, you are 100% sure it works well then you probably have a problem with faulty HARD drive.

  If possible, try to get one for testing purposes. It can be used. Replace the HARD drive and try to install the top OS. Check if you have full access to the HARD drive.

  I have the Qosmio F50-108 b. I am considering buying the new processor for my pm45 chipset, but I can't find information about my support for the cpu bios. I stopped the Q9100... its very very fast. The chipset support, but what the BIOS? I think that to give a chance to the ddr3 memory, so I buy two Privateers 4 GB ddr3 1333, which I suppose to work normally on 1066... Maybe a little more if I can clock the FSB: P.

  BTW I have successfully recorded video (9700M GTS) of 540 clock 1325 shader 799 mhz to 690 memory memory clock 1700 shader 1040 Central. Just be sure to clean your computer from inside well so that the heat will not stop you: P

  You know more about its use at these frequencies? I hope the laptop takes care of everything? Advice please on future updates to this subject :)
